"Hey Lance, what are you going as for the Halloween dance?" Keith asked as they drove to school.

"A cowboy."

"Really?"

"Yeah. I love me some cowboy boots."

"What should I go as?"

"A cow."

"No."

"Please?"

"No."

"A sexy cow?"

Keith looked over. "What?"

"Like a couples costume."

"No fucking way."

The dance was on a Friday, October 30th. Keith parked the car.

"I look like a Chick-fil-a ad."

"You're cute."

"Shut up."

The boys walked into the decorated gym. They talked with some friends while they drank punch. Surprisingly, everyone loved their costumes.

The dance was fun, despite the fact that Keith spent the majority of the time moping that he was a cow.

When they got to Lance's house, Keith grabbed his overnight bag and followed Lance inside.

"I can't believe I was a cow."

"Would you say I roped you in?"

Keith frowned. "No."

"Get it- because like-"

"Yeah. I get it."

Lance opened the door for Keith.

"Let's fuck in the shower."

"That was 0 to 100 real quick."

"So you don't want to?"
