Friends

You threw away the food from your tray, trying to brush off his rude comments, but you couldn't hold back the tears that were threatening to fall.

You quickly turned away from your friends and started to run away, not wanting them to see you cry.

You could hear Kirishima calling after you still, his voice filled with concern and regret. But you didn't stop. You couldn't face him at that moment. You just wanted to be alone.

As you ran, you could feel your heart pounding in your chest. You were angry and hurt. You couldn't believe that Kirishima's best friend had said such hurtful things.

But then, you heard Mina's voice. She was yelling at Kirishima, telling him to leave you alone. She must've knew how much his words had affected you.

You could hear the determination in her voice as she ran after you, calling out your name. You could feel her getting closer and closer, her footsteps echoing behind you.

You knew you had to run faster. You didn't want her to see you like this, weak and vulnerable. You turned a corner sharply and ran behind one of the camp buildings, hoping to lose her.

But she was relentless. She kept calling out your name, her voice filled with worry and concern. You could hear the desperation in her voice and it broke your heart.

You took another turn and ran much faster, searching for somewhere to hide. You slowed down a bit, searching as you found a door. You sprinted over to it and tried to open it.

Locked.

You looked to your side, not knowing what to do until you saw another door. You ran over and grabbed the handle, pulling as hard as you could and it swung open.

Relief filled your body as you quickly went inside, closing the door behind you. Your hands were a bit shaky as you stood in the dark room. You had finally escaped her, and now  you were desperate for some peace and quiet.

As you looked around, you could see the reflection of the sun on the surface of the indoor pool. You then realized that this was the camp's indoor pool.

This camp really had everything.

You took a deep breath and tried to calm your nerves. You could still hear Mina's voice calling after you, so you quickly searched for a place to hide. Your eyes landed on a small door at the corner of the room, and you made a beeline towards it.

You opened the door, and to your relief, it led to a dark janitor's closet.

You closed the door behind you and leaned against it, trying to catch your breath. When you didn't hear Mina's voice anymore, everything just felt a bit better.

You let out a sigh of relief and closed your eyes, enjoying the silence.

But suddenly, you heard a muffled voice behind you. "Hello."

Your eyes snapped open, and you jumped, turning around to face the dark room.

You reached for the light switch and turned it on, hoping to see who was there.

To your surprise, you saw a boy with green hair sitting on the floor. His hands and legs were strapped, and there was a piece of cloth in his mouth. He looked like he had been held captive for a while.

You were taken aback by the strange sight, but you couldn't help but feel sorry for the boy. "Who are you?" you asked, your voice shaking a little.

The boy chuckled, his voice muffled by the cloth in his mouth. "My name is Izuku. Izuku Midoriya," he said. "And I've been stuck in here for hours. A little help?"

You didn't really understand much of what he said but you knew he was asking for help. You hesitated at first, not knowing what to do. But your curiosity got the best of you, and you stepped closer to the boy.

You carefully removed the cloth from his mouth and untied his hands and legs.

"Thank you," he said, stretching his limbs. "I was starting to lose feeling in my arms and legs."

You couldn't believe what had just happened. You had stumbled upon a captive in the camp's pool.

You turned to Midoriya, who was watching you with curiosity. "Why were you tied up?" you asked, trying to keep your voice low.

Midoriya's expression turned serious. "I was captured by some campers," he explained. "It was supposed to be funny, I guess. Until I was tied up and thrown in this closet, but it's fine. You found me."

You couldn't believe that there were bullies in this camp. It was supposed to be a safe and fun place for everyone. "We have to tell someone," you said, feeling the weight of responsibility on your shoulders.

Midoriya shook his head. "No, please don't. They'll just come after me again. I can handle myself," he said confidently.

You were torn between wanting to help Midoriya and wanting to stay out of trouble. But you couldn't just leave him there. "Fine, but you have to promise me that you'll be careful," you said, knowing that you were taking a risk.

Midoriya smiled. "I promise. And thank you for helping me," he said.

"It was the least I could do," you said, patting his knee before standing up. "I didn't say my name, did I? I'm Y/n."

"Hi, Y/n," he said with a small wave, closing his hand and seeming to regret it. "So why'd you come in here?"

You stood there for a moment, not really knowing what to say. "Uh- I...I just needed some alone time."

Midoriya nodded, acknowledging your answer. "From what?"

You shrugged, not really ready to talk about what had happened. How you almost broke down in front of the whole campus, that'd be too embarrassing to tell to someone you just met.

"Did you need alone time because of people?"

"You ask a lot of questions, huh?" You questioned back, placing your hands on your hips as you stared down at him.

He suddenly blushed red, his face heating up as he stammered on his words. "Sorry, I know. It's weird."

You shook your head. "It shouldn't be weird if someone's trying to learn, I can see that you're a fast learner."

He face turned an even darker red, his awkward smile growing on his face as he averted his eyes again and began to mutter.

"It's fine. No need to be nervous around me, I'm a bit...different too," you stated, moving to sit beside him.

"Really?" He asked. "How? You don't seem different, you're very friendly and nice."

You let out a chuckle, he was a bit observant. "Yeah, but the word friendly doesn't really get me friends."

"Friends then?" He said, looking over to you with a smile.

You nodded, "friends."
