In 2016, patient 0 emerged from southern China, within the span of three months the epidemic spread like wild fire consuming the coastal regions of China, most of Korea and even managing to reach Japan via cargo ship from Korea. A year later the disease which was thought to be a mutated form of rabies continued to travel across the continent, reaching the Middle East and thus leading it to Europe but unknowing to most, a ship mainly containing electronics arrived from Japan to Chile thus introducing the plague to the Americas. By this time most countries began to isolate one and another in order to save themselves, by then there had been reports of the rabid humans in southern Eastern Europe had arrived, the Nordic countries closed off their borders due to the spike of refugees trying to escape and the United Kingdom collapsed the Eurotunnel in hopes of saving themselves from the hordes but at the cost of angering most of the Western European countries.

In late 2017, Western Europe collapsed with the exception of Portugal, the Netherlands, bits of Denmark, Ireland and the UK. In Eastern Europe, only the Nordic countries lived on and northern Russia seemed to hold out for the time being, there has been rumors that the government planned to retreat to the Urals. In the Americas the situation was worse, all of South America fell into chaos with the ironic exception of Venezuela which fell back to the few islands it had under its control, Central America was no exception. The US government sent forces to Mexico to build defenses in the Sierra madre mountain ranges in hopes of containing the hordes there

Early 2019, the horde finally broke through the Sierra madre, mass panic erupted throughout the US. The official US government moved to Honolulu along with thousands of refugees trying to escape though there was a limit to how many could be sustained. A few months later, a good chunk of the US fell, most of the south was consumed, the west cost held somewhat, San Fransisco being the one city holding back since the bridges were brought down. The east coast suffering the same fate except there is no where for them to run all except for Florida which turned to Cuba and the rest of the Caribbean. ( Florida man lives on )

Now we turn to a small group teens attending a camp, which is being held in northern Oregon. Most of the camp staff ran out on them during the night, leaving them to their own devices. It's time for them to either rise up to the challenge or fall like the rest
