I love life. Well, sometimes. Other times it sucks—like when you get sent to jail for trying to steal a horse.

"Come on!" Sophia called as I hurried towards her.

"Coming!" I said rudely back.

We have a sort of love-hate relationship. Sometimes we love each other, other times—most of the time—we hate each other. I don't mind it.

"What are we even doing again?" asked Aliya concerningly.

"Yeah Sophia, what are we doing at 5 A.M. in the morning wandering around like psychopaths?" I asked with a lot of sass in my tone.

"Hello?" We heard a voice say. We all turned. Luna, Annabeth, Percy, Will, Felix, Nico and Lukas were all standing there staring at us.

"You came!" Sophia said excitingly.

"Of course we did," said Luna. "We're your friends."

Sophia blushed.

"What in the world is going on here?" Aliya demanded.

Sophia took a deep breath. "I got a prophecy, and I needed to tell you guys. I'm probably not brining half of you, anyway, but still—"

"You got a prophecy and didn't tell me?!" Aliya screeched.

"YOU WERE KIND OF GETTING ME CAUGHT UP IN OTHER THINGS," Sophia said very loudly. "AHEM." Sophia glanced at Lukas while he wasn't looking at her.

Aliya rolled her eyes.

"What was it?" Lukas asked quietly.

Sophia looked us all in the eyes and then told us the words:

"Four shall travel alone

To the place of unknown

Travel by sea, and then by land

The most irrational thoughts

Should make the wise understand."

Luna gasped. "The wise . . ." She glanced at Annabeth. "It could be one of us."

Sophia nodded. "I think, since it's four of us, my group should be me, Aliya, Elena, and Luna."

The three looked at each other and grinned. The others looked slightly disappointed.

"Good choice," Aliya said very happily. "Although, shouldn't we take Felix too?"

"There can only be three people that come with me," Sophia replied.

Aliya turned to Luna.

"Bye," she said in a bossy tone. Luna looked dumbfounded.

"But—" she started, but I interrupted her.

"Don't worry, Luna, you're coming." Sophia turned to Aliya. "Felix is not coming. I have made up my mind."

Let it go, I thought.

No, I heard back.

He's not coming!

Then I'm not coming.

Everyone was looking at us, and I realized we were staring into each other's eyes.

Ok, I'll tell Sophia that you don't want to come, I threatened.

I'll get over it, she replied quickly.

I had not noticed Sophia was waving a hand in front of my face.

"Hellooooo!" She was calling.

"Wha—" I started to ask, but she interrupted me.

"Y'all really need to stop doing that. It's weird."

Weird like you, I heard her think and I knew Aliya did too because she turned harshly at Sophia and scowled. There was silence. The air got so uncomfortable.

Aliya laughed in her mind—which was really weird—. but I don't know why. I think she might have seen me stare at her because she then went to say her goodbyes to Felix. Honestly I loved watching her grow up and finally get a boyfriend (it was also kinda funny). They are literally my OTP. Everyone walked off to get ready for the adventure.

I'm gonna miss you so much. I assumed the thought came from Felix. I have gotten used to his voice mainly because Aliya usually drags me to go talk to him and his siblings ('Cuz she's a clingy turd). I really don't know why people think Ares kids are always mean, they're just extremely passionate.

I walked back to my shared cabin and started packing things that were pretty much useless.
