Marco Pov
I was glad to see star up and well. I also love the way the campers were around her asking if she's okay and well. I need to stop with this, we're just friends and she doesn't really see us in that way. Wait? Why am I thinking about Star and me together?

I never wanted to be in a relationship before but why now? "Morning  Marco" I look to my side and see Jackie and two small space buns "Morning, What's up?" She sits beside me and looks over at Star who's talking with Eva "What are you doing today?" I sigh and took a spoonful of cereal "Pool today"

she raised a brow "Cool, so later a couple of us are gonna chill at the hot tub, want to join?" She smiles and I shrug "I'll think about it Jackie" her smile falters and nods "Sure, just let me know okay" I nod and she goes back to her table and I shake my head "She scares me" mason managed to say as I chuckled "Why?"

"Well, I saw the way she looked at Star, she looks mad at her and then she looks sad when you don't talk to her like you do with star" I smirked "You noticed that to huh?" He nods "Yeah, but it's your choice to pick whoever" I blushed and looked back at the boy

"I'm not picking anyone, also I don't want a relationship right now cause I need to focus on my school project and on you guys" he rolls his eyes "Whatever but don't deny your feelings for either of them"

After breakfast it was time for 20 minute hike before we headed towards the pool. Half the kids were complaining that they were tired and some where hot. I must admit it was kinda hot and I wanted to swim as well. "Alright go and change and we'll start heading to the pool"

everyone seemed happy when I said it and I changed into my swim trunks and brought extra stuff just in case something happens. As i wait outside the cabin I see Star in a white bikini top and Jean shorts and her hair tied up in a messy bun.

She looked beautiful and kinda hot but I can't help saying that cause I'm a dude. As i was going to call her a few guys walked over to her and it kinda bothered me because they didn't seem to care about her until they saw her show skin. Typical men.

As i looked back the guys looked offended and she walked towards me with her kids "Hey Marco" I blushed slightly trying not to stare at her "Hey Star, what did the guys ask?" "Oh, they just called me pretty or beautiful and then I told them, funny I didn't think I was when I didn't show off my skin" I laughed

"Good one" "Yup, should I wear something else? I feel like it's too much" "Its up to you? Also I got invited to the hot tub" she looks at me and nod "And?" "I'm not going" "What? Why?" I shake my head "People I don't want to see, why don't we do something else?"

"What do you have in mind?" She asked smiling a bit "Want to go to the Lake? No one would be there" she raised a brow at me "Seems kind of.." she held her arm as she looked at me "it sounds more like a date?" I blushed and shook my head frantically

"No, it's not a date, it's just us friends hanging out, we can talk and stargaze" she giggles and nods "Alright Marco, can't wait for our 'Not Date' thing" she said laughing a bit and my heart races a bit "Yeah" we walked towards the pool and the campers went nuts and started jumping on

"Hey! That's not safe! Take the ladder! Hey no!" I was running around keeping an eye for them and star sat at the edge watching her campers relax and swim calmly and I was just amazed at how well they were acting "They're fine! Come sit by me!"

She said as she motioned me to sit. I took a deep breath as I walked slowly towards her and gulp seeing how beautiful she looked. I couldn't help but look at her figure, it was slim but had a beautiful curve and the way her hair was loose made her even more irresistible

"You okay?" She asked giggling as she locked her feet in the pool "Yeah! I'm just in edge" "Don't be, relax and put your feet in" it was so simple for her but not for me. "Star may I jump from the diving board?" "Yes you can Bella, be careful" "Yes star" the little girl walked slowly and jumped with such grace

"Someone seems jealous" I popped out of my trance and looked at star who held a small glare near the door "What?" "Jackie, I feel like she's out to get me..like I'm a bug in her way" I scoff "She's just a little upset with me for ditching her" star looked over at me "Why? I thought you liked her?"

"I'm not sure anymore, can we not talk about her?" She nods and stands up and god I wish she hadn't "Hey Jackie, came to see us swim?" She said so calmly that it kinda scared me "I was just passing by" Jackie retorted before giving her a glare and left.

"Well I'm gonna go for a swim, want to come?" Star asked as she looked down at me "Uh no I'm just gotta chill here for a bit" she shrugs "Suit yourself" she swayed her hips as she climbed on the diving board and started to jump.

Her dive was effortless and when she came back up the campers were clapping and I was a blushing mess and something else was bothering me as well. I need to cook off.

After swimming and other activities it was time for bed and I told the campers to hit the sack and be good before I came back. Mason knew where I was going and had a smirk the whole time but I didn't pay much attention to it.

As I walked out I saw some counselors heading towards the hot tub area and I just shook my head. I walked towards the Lake and saw a silhouette, as I got closer it was Star "Hey" she said happily as she wrapped herself in a small fluffy blanket "Hey, I hope I didn't take too long" she shook her head "Nah, your good"

as we walked to the docks we sat down and looked up at the stars "You didn't go cause Jackie was gonna be there" I nodded "Yeah" she shuffled a bit and sighs "Marco you don't have to be with me all the time, don't get me wrong I like hanging with you but don't ignore someone else you knew before you met me"

I looked at her face as she still had a smile on her face "Jealousy is an ugly thing and if it's cause of me I want no part of it. I don't want a drift to happen between you two" "Of course it is but I want to hang out with you, you're different and I noticed you have a slight accent when you talk quickly"

she giggles and lowered her head "Promise me this" "What?" "If something does happens between us, please make it real and not fake" I blushed and almost choked on air "Uh okay! I will I swear" she smiles "Thanks"

as she sighs and looks up we hear screaming and we get up and run toward the noise and when we stop its at Jackies cabin "You!" She came and poked at Star on her chest "You little brat!!" I stood between them

"Whoa what's going on?" "That weirdo freaking put honey on my pillow and attracted ants! I knew she did it! She's bad Marco!" I raised a brow and looked at Star "Star? Did you do that?" "No how could I do that if I was with you all day?" That was true, but who would do this to Jackie?

"Lair!! You fucking did it!!" "Jackie! Don't swear when theirs kids around" "Oh shut up Marco! You're so blind to her tricks that she's playing you like a fool! She's playing a game and it's to see who wins you" I blushed and backed up a bit

"What?! This is insane! Why would either of you want me?! Correction..what the heck!! Jackie, Star isn't mean or anything the only person who's acting mean is you, all you ever did was tell me lies about her"

Jackie glared at me as honey was dripping from her hair "You called her weird when she first got here" star made a small noise and I looked at her "Marco? Is that true?" "What? No way" "Lair! He said you were loud and weird and didn't fit in at all! I don't understand why he's suddenly has a change of heart"

I looked at Star who's eyes were glistening with tears "Stay away from me.." I went to touch her but she moved away "Stay away from me Marco.." she ran off to her cabin and was crying and I looked at Jackie with an annoyed look "What's your deal?!"

"Oh so now you notice me? My deal is I liked you first! She came from la la land and has you under a spell! That's my deal Marco Diaz!" I was angry that I didn't want to be here anymore "You know what?! I was going to ask you out a few weeks ago but then I saw the real you, I thought you were cool and awesome like everyone said in school but you're mean and cruel and a Bully"

Jackie shook her head "I'm not a bully marco" "Then what are you? Cause a kind loving person isn't you" she was quiet and I left "Marco wait!" "No! I'm done! It feels like I'm the only normal one at This camp! I might as well go home and do something else cause all the weeks I've been here has been a freaking rollercoaster! Star getting poisoned! Having you fight over me with her?! I'm not an object I'm a human being!"

I could see Jackie cry and I couldn't anymore. As i look half of the campers were awake and watching from their Windows "I need space"
