Star Pov
I hate how I'm making Marco jealous. I mean it was my intention but now it seems a bit cruel and I think Tom thinks I want to date him and I just don't want to. He's a nice guy and all but I just don't need it right now. "Hey star came to check on your time sheets" I popped out of my thoughts seeing Eva "Oh yeah go ahead." "You okay? You seem out of it?" I shrug

"I noticed Marco hasn't really talked to me or anything?" "Well you two aren't supposed to? Remember what my dad said?" I nodded "I know but it's been 2 weeks since then. It's kinda messing with me." "Well since you two states away maybe my dad can let you guys interact again. I've noticed the campers missing the others." I nod and sigh "Also what's with you and Tom?" "Nothing? Why?"

She shrugs "You two seem closer than before? Are you guys a thing?" I turned red and shook my head quickly "No! No we aren't I just don't see us in a relationship like that. He's just making Marco jealous I guess?" "That's rude? Anyways that's none of my business. I'll be on my way. Also I'll let my dad know to lift the punishment." I smiled

"Thanks Eva" "No problem. Later." She left and I sat on the wooden stairs as i watched the campers have fun. "Counselor Star?" "Yes Cam?" "You miss him don't you?" I blushed and patted a spot for her to sit. "I do but it's gonna take some time and I think he moved on as well." As I look I see him talking with the others as a girl with big curly mint hair laughs besides him. Wait! Who's she?! I stand up walking towards them as i stop at them

"Hey guys what's going on here?" I asked casually "Oh Star, meet Kelly she's our camp guidance counselor. She started today." I smiled as I looked at her. She had a rather caramel complexion and she looked adorable "Yeah she's pretty cool, she was talking about how she helps kids get a better understanding and whatnot" Marco said as she giggles with him

"I'm not that good Marco" she playfully nudges him and she blushed. Oh man I think I'm losing this battle. "Oh you are anyways I gotta get back. Later guys" he waved and Kelly looked at me "Hey-" "Don't talk to me." She seemed confused and a bit hurt almost "Why? What have I done?" "Marco is my friend and I see the way you two act. I'm not stupid. Back off him."

She laughs and rolls her eyes "Firstly I can have Marco as my friend and secondly I can act however I please with him. Also you can't call dibs on a guy who isn't yours. Sorry princess." I gasp as she walked off as campers came towards her and hugged her. "Wow. That was brutal" I jumped seeing Janna and I groan

"You seem upset? What's going on now?" "She's my problem now." "Kelly? She's so nice and caring? Why is she the problem?" "She said I can't call dibs on Marco. I liked him first!" She laughs "Okay, Marco is a single guy. He's not dating 'Anyone' also she's right. You can't call dibs on a person who isn't yours. Marco is person not a toy or whatever?" I blushed as I looked back at Kelly

"Well she's my enemy right now. I'm not gonna lose to her. I never lose." "Alright you are sounding crazier by the week. I like it. What's the plan?" I sigh "Don't know yet but I know I'm able to talk to Marco again and properly" she smirks "That's sounds good." "Oh it is Janna. It is indeed"

As it started to get dark I decided to take a stroll towards the docks and see what's out to look at. As I get there I freeze and blush as I slowly move towards the figure. It's obviously Marco cause he's the only one who wears a red hoodie. "Fancy seeing you here" I said as he looks and chuckles "Yeah just needed a breather." I nod

"So..how are you?" "Alright. Thanks for asking" I mumble a bit "Campers had fun today." "Yeah they did." I frown a bit as i move a bit closer "So I heard we can talk again normally. Isn't that great?" He shrugs "I guess?" I groan and look at him as he stares into the water "Are you ignoring me or upset?" He scoffs "I'm obviously not ignoring you if I'm talking to you. Also why would I be upset?"

I blushed and lowered my head "It seems like I'm bothering you with just my presence." He shakes his head and leans over the beam "You were never a bother star. It's just I'm not used to us talking like before. It's awkward." That's true "Yeah a little bit." We stay silent as i move a little closer "So you and Kelly?"

I smirked but deep down I was groaning and screaming with a passion. "What about us?" I shrug and nudge him "You know.." he raised a brow and chuckles "Oh you mean is as in together? Oh no we're just friends. Why you ask?" I turned red and he starts laughing "Oh man...were you jealous?" "What?! No I wasn't jealous? Why would i be?!" He held his stomach and I giggled seeing him smile again.

It's been awhile. "Well I didn't really expect you to be since I figured you and Tom were 'together' like that." "What?! Yeah no me and him are just friends. I wouldn't even date him. He's a nice guy and all but he's not the one I'm looking for." He smirks as he hangs back on the beam and I do the same. "So what are you looking for?" I shrug and get closer as our hands touch a bit "I'm not sure?" We looked at each, not sure if I should make a move or just stay still?

We stayed quiet for a bit longer before we both went for it but ended up hitting our foreheads "Ouch..that hurt" i rubbed my head as Marco laughs and does the same "I've never have had that happen before?" I giggled "Same. Also sorry that was random and I wasn't thinking."

"Oh it's cool. I wasn't in my head either." We chuckled for a few seconds before our lips collided as i felt his arms wrap around my waist as i pulled him for a deeper kiss. As we pulled apart we both gasped and covered our mouths.

"I-I-I better go.." he stuttered as he sped off looking back and forth. " Uh okay!" I blushed and lowered my head as I smirked "he kissed me." I looked at the water once more before I ran towards my cabin. Before I get there I see Tom and he looks a bit annoyed "Hey." He glares at me for a bit "What's wrong?"

He comes closer and I look at him "So whatever we had going was for nothing?" "What are talking about?" "I'm talking about us!" I shushed him "Quiet the campers are sleeping." "Star was this thing a lie?" "Tom I needed a friend not a rebound okay? Also I thought we talked about this? We are strictly friends and nothing more."

He groans and walks off "You're making a mistake princess" I held my arms as he walked away and I retreated to my own cabin. Such a weird day?
