Camila's POV:

I felt a hand push my hair to the side which instantly woke me up. I started to regain the feeling of my body again and realized I was laying down in a bed.

I moved my head to the side and saw a middle age'd woman wearing a gray gown but had a crown around her head, sitting beside me. I scooted away, frantically looking around.

"Hello Camila." She simply greeted and I scoffed.

"W-Where the hell am I?" I asked.

"I've been taking care of you. Since Supergirl practically almost ruined your show and nearly killed you." She explained but I shook my head.

"That's impossible. She was stopping those people who came in and took those people. Now why am I here?" I demanded and she sighed.

"Once you were picked up by my men, I knew you had potential for things. Better things!" She pointed to the window, showing the the view behind her. "This planet wasted potential and you, you represent the better race. I'm gonna make a society worthy of you." She explained and I got off the bed. I walked closer to her and she grabbed my shoulders, walking the both of us closer to the window.

"Come on Camila, you said it yourself. You're home. Imagine being beside me as we make this into a better world. She said and I looked around, seeing more Daxamites going down to the city. The ships next to us blasted more in the city which made me frown.

Y/N's POV:

I took a couple steps forward out of the portal and it closed behind me. I looked around in the metallic hallway and kept walking forward, still being cautious if one of the Daxamites jumped out.

One of the doors in front of me opened and I noticed it was the main room where Rhea's throne was.

I headed voices argue and I leaned in close to hear what was going on.

"Did you not hear us? You must be out of your damn mind if you'd think I marry him." I heard her voice. I peeked my head and saw Camila with a pissed off expression.

"I know you won't be doing it for me, but maybe for for them." Rhea sighed and walked up to a screen. Video footage showed her family being escorted by Maggie in the streets but were looking around worriedly.

"No..." Camila whispered.

"Mother, you have to stop this." Mon-el scolded but she ignored him.

"These are one of the reasons why I liked you so much, Camila. Your life consists of fame and fortune but you put your family and friends first no matter what."

Camila's eyes widened. "What did you do with Y/N?"

"Doesn't matter. The two of you will get married. After that, you can spend the rest of your days in a cell for all I care. The question is, will you agree to the ceremony now or," Rhea turned to the screen again. "will you sacrifice your loved ones?"

Camila worriedly looked at Mon-el and she sighed.

"Fine." She spoke with a shaky voice.

"We'll do as you ask." Mon-el muttered.

I quickly stepped away from the doorway and clicked on my ear piece.

"You guys, you need to get Camila's family to the DEO. Rhea's threatening to hurt Camila's family." I said.

"Kind of busy!" Alex yelled, blasts being heard in the background, her ear piece immediately getting cut off.

"I'm on my way there now." Maggie said.

"It's like there's more every minute." Diana groaned.

"Can you use your portal to get them out of there?" I asked, looking back at Camila and Mon-el who were being escorted to their rooms to change.

"I tried but it's like there's a barrier around to prevent me from doing it." Diana breathed out.

"But then how did you teleport me inside?" I groaned.

"Winn said the barrier is around where you are. The rest are just protected from the outside where my powers can work." She explained.

"So I'm on my own. Where's Alex?"

"The president assigned her on a task to bomb the ship by going back to the DEO. Get this, turns out we voted for an alien for president." She replied.

"At least she's a democrat." I mumble. "We can't bomb it, there's people aboard." I say, hearing a small creak behind me. A Daxamite saw me which made my eyes widen. He was about to blast his spear but I tackled him against the wall, knocking him unconscious.

"I know but what other choice do we have? You couldn't find where the prisoners are." She added.

I was about to reply but I heard Rhea talking again.

"I gotta go, Y/N. The Daxamites are heading towards the bar where everyone else is." She turned off her ear piece and I quietly went back to the door.

Camila had came back in wearing a gold sparkly traditional Daxamite dress and black heels, along with a crown placed on her head. Her hair was curled but had small bang strands covering her forehead.

Her and Mon-el both grabbed each other's hand and lifted it to the middle.

Despite the situation I'm in, I can't help but admire how beautiful she looked.

"Though there are many stars in our celestial kingdom, only one will lead you down the correct path. Each of you have found your star." She smiled innocently.

If I try to attack, Camila would get hurt. There's Daxamite guards practically guarding every exit. There's gotta be a distraction so I can at least knock a couple of them that are near Camila.

"And so, in my power as acting regent of the Daxamite Empire, it is my duty and my honor to proclaim you—"

Rhea was immediately cut off by her transmission screen revealing Cat Grant.

"Good evening National City, it's Cat Grant." Cat smirked. Everyone in the room turned to her and I smiled since this was perfect. "Yes, I've been away for awhile but I'm back. Now, I can imagine that you're feeling afraid, and feeling like your world is spinning out of control. But, believe me, you have power."

I heard more stomping heading toward my direction and I turned around, seeing two more guards.

"And right now, you have a job to do. Resist. Resist these invaders with everything you've got." Cat demanded. I flew towards the Daxamites and grabbed both of them, making them crash into each other. "They come with empty promises and closed fists. They promise to make our world great again, and yet they know nothing about the people who make this world great. They think they can con us."

More Daxamite guards came in and each of them grabbed my arms. I tried getting them off but they held still. I used my laser beam eyes and they immediately let go, crying out in pain. I elbowed one of their heads and back kicked the guy next to me.

"And if that doesn't work, what? They're going to beat us into submission? They have no idea who they're up against."

"Y/N, Winn found where the prisoners are. We're gonna send someone up there to get them out." Diana's voice rang into my ear piece. "Hurry and get Camila and Mon-el out of there. Alex is lagging on purpose to explode the bomb."

"On it." I whispered and muted my ear piece.

"Aliens and humans, we need to band together and we need to stand up and fight back. Everyone needs to be a superhero. Everyone needs to get up and say, 'not in my house.' Let's prove to these thugs and show them that we're strong and we're united, and we are not going to be conquered." Cat crossed her arms and I quickly walked towards the door.

"And, Tiara woman," Cat scoffed. Rhea pushed Camila and Mon-el to move out of her way as she walked stomped towards the computer. "If you and your little minions happen to be listening, you have come to the wrong town."

I could easily see that Rhea was pissed and as if Cat could see her, she laughed.

"Yeah, that's right. I'm Cat Grant. Not going anywhere." She finished and the transmission shut off.

"Classic." I whispered and Rhea turned to one of the guards with an angered expression.

"Send a squadron to the planet's surface and kill that woman." She demanded and the guard nodded, walking into a different hallway. She turned towards Camila and Mon-el. "Send them to their chambers."

A couple guards grabbed Camila's and Mon-el's arm and dragged them into a different hallway. I quickly ran to the right and hoped I was going in the right direction.

I was about to continue running but I stopped since there were a couple Daxamite soldiers standing in front of a door. They had their spears aimed once the door opened, revealing Camila and Mon-el with a scared expression.

I quickly flew towards the soldiers and knocked two of them off their feet. I punched the soldier's chest, sending him flying down the hallway. I grabbed two of the soldiers and crashed them into each other, similar to earlier.

I looked back up at Camila and Mon-el and they both had looks of relief.

"Camila," I started to smile but then I realized she didn't know who I was. "Someone sent me to get you."

"What about Y/N? Did she get caught here too?" Camila asked and I scratched my neck nervously.

"We should go, now." Mon-el said, patted my shoulder and I nodded.

"I know where to go." I said and we quickly ran down the hallway. I clicked on my ear piece. "Diana, have a portal ready and tell Alex activate the blast. Then have Guardian go to Catco, Rhea sent Daxamites to attack Cat."

"You got it. We got the captives out earlier so hurry up." She coughed.

I led them towards the area I was at previously but Camila slipped because of her dress.

"Shit." I quickly ran to her and Mon-el stopped running. "Go! We'll catch up."

He nodded and jumped through the portal. Camila held her ankle and she shook her head.

"I can't move it." She groaned in pain.

"Yes you can. Do it for m-I mean, for Y/N." I encouraged as I wrapped Camila's arm around my neck. She limped as I made us run to the room.

We got inside and I unwrapped her arm from my neck. She looked at me with a confused expression.

"I'm not going with you." I said.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Rhea's already lost. The positron cannon is ready to fire, and you're safe. She deserves to surrender gracefully." I explained.

"No she doesn't. Why didn't you answer me earlier about Y/N? Is she here still? Did Rhea hurt her?"

"I don't know but-"

"Let me come with you to find her here. I know my way around." She grabbed my hand.

"No, you need to go back with your family." I said, trying to push her in the portal but she stayed still.

"Let me help you. I need to know if the girl I care about the most, is alive. I know she's lied to me about so much stuff but I don't care. I just want to see her again, even if it means putting myself at risk." Her eyes began to brim with tears.

"Y/N told me that she loves you, okay? She wants you to be safe because she knows that if you die out here, she'll regret it for the rest of her life. She kept things from you so that you'd be safe. She never wanted to drag you into her past because she was afraid that you would leave her over the fact that she's in lo-"

I stopped myself and saw her face turn into confusion.

"She's w-what?" Camila stuttered.

I knew she wasn't going to let this go unless I showed her who I actually was.

I turned around away from her and grabbed my glasses from my back pocket. I tied my hair up into a ponytail and faced her again.

Her eyes widened and she covered her mouth.

"That she's in love with you." I finished and she wiped her eyes.

"Y-you're Supergirl?" She asked.

"You need to go in that portal. Don't do it for Supergirl, do it for me. Your best friend." I whispered, grabbing her hand and squeezing it in comfort.

"Please don't do this. You're not gonna get through to her. Even if I just met her, she's not gonna budge." She pleaded and I wiped her tears away.

"I have to try. As long as you're safe." I said and she let go of my hand. She cupped my cheeks and crashed her lips onto mine.

My stomach felt like it was doing a thousand somersaults along with my heart beating like a drum. I placed my arms on her waist and pulled her closer.

Eventually she pulled away but still pressed her forehead against mine.

"Promise you'll come back to me all in one piece." She whispered and I nodded. I handed her my glasses and let my hair free from the hair tie, handing them to her with a small smile. She slipped them inside her pocket and sighed.

She eventually let go of me and reluctantly walked closer to the portal. She took one last look at me but then reluctantly went inside the portal.

It closed behind her and I quickly ran back to the main room where Rhea was. She stood in front of the window but I glared.

"It's over Rhea. I came back to give you one last chance to do the right thing." I said as I walked closer to her but stopped in the middle of the room. She turned around with a fake smile.

"How generous of you."

"When I was a child, I could look up into the skies and see Daxam and the stars." I said as she took a couple steps down the stairs. "I was told so many times how terrible a place it was, but I couldn't understand that. Because they had families like us. People like us, people they loved." I explained.

I saw her expression faltered a bit but she regained her composure.

"In a few minutes, this ship will be destroyed, and everyone on it. You don't want that. Save your people while you still have time." I finished.

"Touching speech, Supergirl. Sadly, wasted on the wrong audience. When my own husband opposed me, I killed him." She shrugged which made my eyes widen. "You really think you can tug at my heartstrings? You were right about one thing though."

She walked closer to me but I stood my ground.

"It is over. For you." She smirked.

"Y/N! The positron canon is gone! And more and more Daxamites are coming down faster by the minute! Camila and Mon-el made it but why weren't you with them?" Diana's voice filled with panic.

"Supergirl," She trailed my name, circling around me as she dragged her hand on my shoulder. "You really thought you'd won, didn't you?" She chuckled and stepped away from me. I tilted my head in confusion but immediately felt a strike of pain against my cheek.

I flew across the floor and rolled on the stairs where Rhea previously was. I carressed my jaw and looked up, ready to attack who had hit me.

However, once I made eye contact with him, my eyes widened in shock.

"Superman?" I whispered but his expression was completely emotionless. He marched towards me and bawled his fists.

"This is my planet." He grunted and picked me up from the floor. "These are my people." He punched my chest and sent me flying again, making me crash onto Rhea's computer system. "And I will not let you harm them."

I kicked my feet up from the ground and stood back up. I charged towards him and punched his chest, sending him rolling across the floor.

I turn to Rhea with a glare. "What have you done to him?"

"I once told you that my planet was riddled with the corpse of yours. But not only Green Kryptonite rained down from the skies. There are so many more ways to harm your kind than to simply weaken you. Silver Kryptonite." She smirked as she looked at Superman. "Your cousin is so much like you. Reckless, stupid, barreling headfirst into danger."

She started to walk back to her throne. "I couldn't have set a better trap if I tried."

I look back worriedly to my cousin as he stood back on his feet. "Kal? It's me, Y/N!"

"Oh, he doesn't see you. He sees his worst enemy." Rhea chuckled.

"You should have stayed away, Zod." Superman glared and my eyes widened.

"Kal, listen to me." I pleaded. He shot his heat vision and I quickly shot mine at the same time. We circled around slowly and Rhea smirked.

"You're his mortal enemy, Supergirl. The person he fears most. You will take everything from him, so, this time, he will not hesitate." Rhea called out. "This time, he will protect his planet. This time-"

"I'll stop you forever." He said, stopping his heat vision. He flew towards me and tackled me against the window, both of us crashing through it.

We fell thousands of feet but he grabbed me and made sure I took the damage as we crashed through the building floors. We stopped in one of the middle floors and I quickly stood up to my feet.

I heard a gasp which made me turn around. A little boy along with his mother were frightened by me and I went closer to them to get them to safety.

"Don't be afraid!" I say, gesturing them away from Kal.

"Stay away from them!" He calls out, grabbing me by the shoulders and making us fly into the wall and back outside. I managed to get his grip off and threw him in the middle of the city park.

I flew down and landed on top of the car. I jumped off but he was quick enough to get back up and push me against the car, causing an explosion of fire.

He picked me up and flew us back into the skies. I was trying to peel his grip off but he punched me several times in the chest. I got one arm off and swung my fist against his cheek.

He flew us back down, making us crash against random walls around the park, causing more explosions around people as they ran away from the scene. We fell into the pond next to the damaged car from earlier but were a couple feet apart.

I moved my drenched hair away from my face and quickly stood back up, seeing as he did the same. We both used our heat vision again, causing us to look away since it was too much.

I ran up to him and took another strike against his cheek. I attempted another swing but he ducked just in time and punched me against my jaw.

"Supergirl!" I turned and saw Alex, Maggie, Mon-el, and Camila standing there in shock. Camila's expression was filled with worry but Mon-el held her from running to me. "Look out!"

I looked back at Kal and blocked his hit. I swung again at his cheek and he fell back onto the floor. He stood back up and swung at my head and luckily I ducked but he took that as a chance to wrap his arm around my neck to suffocate me and hold my arm.

"No!" Camila cried out, trying to get out of Mon-el's grip.

I stomped on his foot and elbowed his chest which made him let go. I put him on his knee and held both of his arms.

"You have to fight it!" I yell out.

He grunted and ripped my grip off then shoved me away. With all his might, he sucker punched me against my cheek which sent me flying across from him. He marched towards me and kicked me in the ribs, making me roll across again.

I stood back up but he beat me to it and took a swing at my eye, making me fall back down.

"Remember your promise" Camila called out and I huffed. I stood back up and blocked his next hit, then finally swung at his cheek which made his face jerk to the right. He stumbled back with a pissed off expression and kicked the same spot again. I groaned in pain but swung again on the other side, making him stumble again.

He huffed and swung again but this time I ducked. He looked back at me and with all the strength I had left, I did an uppercut on his cheek, sending him fly up a couple feet in the air. He fell on his back and luckily he became unconscious.

I sighed in relief but felt my legs give out. I landed on my knees and I heard someone running towards me.

"Hey, hey. It's okay, I got you. I'm here." Camila whispered, trying to hold me up but I fell on her lap.

"We gotta get her to the fortress." I heard Alex's voice but my main focus was on Camila.

She cupped my cheeks, slapping it lightly so I'd stay awake. Her eyes were streaming with tears and I gave a weak smile.

"You promised you'd come back in one piece, remember?" She wiped her eyes, grabbing ahold of my hand.

"You already knew that was a lie." I managed to say clearly which made her chuckle. I felt my eyes become heavy and her expression immediately turned from happy to panic in seconds.

"Stay awake, Y/N. Please." Her voice echoed but it was too late.
