Y/N's POV:

"So...Camila seems like a nice friend for you." My dad broke the silence as Nico, Wally, Gypsy and Cisco split up to hide in the trees.

I snort. "Thanks." I say, looking around to see if Savitar or Killer Frost were nearby. "but I wouldn't call her a friend."

"What do you mean? Is she just someone who witnessed you using your powers? Cisco has an invention that can erase her mem—" He started to say but I scoff.

"Is that really important to bring up right now?"

"We barely have time to talk about how you're doing." He says.

"You've been busy with arresting meta humans instead of coming back home." I say and he awkwardly looks down.

"I was protecting you. Savitar wasn't even supposed to know about you." He says.

"Whatever." I mumble. "If you want to know, Camila and I are, well hopefully, becoming more than friends." I say and his expression turned into confusion.

It took him a couple seconds to understand. "So you're...oh."

"Yeah." I say and he nods slowly.

"Well...as long as you're happy, I guess." He says, clearing his throat. "Does your mom know?"

"I haven't told her but pretty sure she's not stupid to piece it together." I chuckle.

"They're here guys." I hear Cisco say through our coms. My dad and I hid more in the trees and see Savitar and Killer Frost walk past us, further into the forest.

"We have to hurry. I must become immortal before the paradox reaches me." Savitar says as we slowly follow behind him. He places the bazooka ray gun down. "Today, I become a god."

Instantly he ran around in circles, a streak of white lightning following behind him which created a portal that shined a blue light, flickering back and forth with orange as well.

He stood beside Killer Frost and gestured to the portal. "This is why I brought you here. The speed force doesn't like it when speedsters mess with time. Get ready."

"Dad..." I warn.

"Not yet." He whispered back.

A man dressed in black jumped out of the portal but I knew he wasn't even human.

"What the hell." I whisper.

Killer Frost attempted to shoot it with her icicles but the man used his super speed to dodge the attack. This went on for a bit and the man attempted to charge at Savitar but finally the cold blast hit him, freezing him in his spot. Killer Frost shattered him into millions of pieces which made her chuckle.

"See ya later, Hunter." She smirked.

"The one thing that Black Flash can't fight...cold." Savitar said and stepped closer to the portal as Killer Frost grabbed the bazooka. "Finally...to be a god!"

She shot Savitar with the bazooka and it emitted orange energy around his body which made several duplicates behind Savitar into the portal.

The color of the ray gun streak turned from blue to red and the duplicates behind him disappeared and instead, just went through him.

"What?" Savitar looked around confusingly. "No!"

Killer Frost turned off the bazooka and Savitar turned to the portal. A streak ran out from the portal, making Savitar fly back as if someone had punched him.

Chills ran down my spine as I saw it was my grandpa who had came out.

"He's from a different Earth like H.R." My dad whispered and I nodded slowly.

"I've been waiting a long time to do that." He says with a chuckle. My dad patted my shoulder, indicating for us to come out of our spots.

"Garrick? How did you—"

"He didn't." Killer Frost turned around and saw all of us walking closer to them. "I did" Cisco said, tossing a helmet to Garrick.

"By changing the polarity of the climbing arc, I changed your Speed Force Splicer into a Speed Force skeleton key." He crossed his arms.

"Did you really think he was gonna let you become a god?" Nico laughed as she activated her staff.

"Let's end this." My Dad glared and Killer Frost turned to Savitar.

"Go." She says to him and Savitar sped off as she attempted to hit us with her cold blast. Garrick, Wally, and my Dad ran after him but I stayed behind.

"Protect!" Nico commands to her staff and it formed a shield, making the blast bounce off. "Y/N, go after them! We'll be okay!"

I nod and followed where I saw them run off to. I saw Wally's lightning trail and knew I was close by. We were dodging every tree in sight and I managed to run past Garrick and Wally and run next to my Dad as he was inches away from Savitar.

I notice Savitar take out his daggers and he sliced two trees beside him to try to slow us down. I slid under the fallen trees while my dad jumped over and Garrick and Wally ran around them.

Savitar was a bit further from us and jumped up in the air, shooting a blast of lighting that we accidentally ran towards, making all of us crash into the trees.

Savitar continued running and my Dad dusted himself off before he kept running. I notice Garrick and Wally took the most damage and I knew they wouldn't be getting up for awhile.

I pushed myself up and continued running after them, ignoring the slight pain on my side.

I ran back to where we started off and see Killer Frost on the floor with Cisco aiming his hand at her with Nico doing the same with her staff. Gypsy stood behind them, as if just in case anything happens.

I knew Nico put up a fight since there was a small gash on her hip and her lip was bleeding.

I limped my way to her and she noticed my presence, lowering her staff

"Savitar didn't come here?" I whisper but she shook her head.

"Go ahead, Cisco. Go bad." Killer Frost smirked but then he lowered his hand.

"No. I never will." He zipped open his pocket and pulled out a blue vial. "I'll give you a choice. You wanna be Caitlin again?" He tossed her the vial next to her. "Here's your chance."

He started to walk away towards Gypsy and she just stared, in shock that he actually had a cure.

"Look out!" Gypsy turned to me and Nico and I were instantly knocked to the ground, as well as Cisco and Gypsy.

Savitar grabbed ahold of Cisco and I tried to get up but I felt the pain was getting worse.

"You'll pay for what you did!" He raised his voice, lifting him up from the ground. His hand started to vibrate. "And you can die the same way twice."

He was about to drive it into his chest but a blast of ice pushed Savitar away. I look and see Caitlin had stood and pulled Cisco from the ground.

"I knew you didn't have it in you, Caitlin." Savitar says.

I see my Dad sprinting to us from a distance and he attempts to punch Savitar but as if he saw it coming, he lifted his arm to make my Dad fall on his back.

My dad attempted to get up, but Savitar smashes his foot on his chest, similar to what he did to me.

"I only have a few minutes left. I can feel it." Savitar says as he circled around him, knowing he wouldn't get up. "But before I go, I'm gonna kill Joe, Wally, your daughter, and Iris. If I'm going to die, then everything you love is going to die too." He says and I felt my blood boil. "Even if it includes killing your friends and the ones your daughter loves."

He was about to speed off but I pushed myself up.

"No!" I yell and ran towards him.

I jump to phase through his suit, kicking him out from inside. He face planted into the grass and frantically turned to look at me. I look down and saw the color of the suit radiated a different shade of blue, similar to my suit and I step closer to the man on the ground.

"How does it feel to get so close to your ascension, and end up on the ground?" I glare, and his eyes trailed up and down in shock.

"Now I see." He panted. "It's written."

"Nothing's written!" I yell. Savitar attempts to punch my side by I deflected it and punch his exposed side. I wrap my arm around his and force him to the ground on his knees.

I force the arm to form a dagger and aim it at his chest, similar to what he did to H.R before.

"Do it!" Savitar yelled.

"Y/N." My dad coughed. I saw Nico had helped him to his feet and he was witnessing the whole thing. "This isn't the way."

"It should be. He killed H.R and almost killed mom and Camila. He threatened to kill everyone. Why shouldn't I end it here and now." I raise my voice, shakily moving the dagger.

"Because you're a hero." He says.

"You kill me and you become me. You know what they say, like father like daughter." Savitar laughs maniacally.

"Think of the people you love, Y/N. Don't show yourself as a killer. Be better than this." My dad pleaded.

"Either choice you make Y/N, I live!" Savitar smirked.

I retracted the dagger, making Savitar drop his smirk. I vibrated with the suit, making it shatter into several pieces. I wipe my eyes, realizing they were starting to fill with tears.

"I'll never let the pain, the darkness determine who I am. I'll never be like you." I glare and rose my fist, striking him across the face that ended up knocking him unconscious. "And that's for kidnapping Camila."

"Barry." I heard someone say and turn to see my mom look at me proudly. "Y/N." She ran to us and pulled me into a hug first.

She started asking tons of questions if I was okay but I held her hands. "I'm good mom. Go check on dad."

She nodded and ran to my dad, pulling him into a hug.

I limped my way to Nico but out of nowhere heard a gunshot. Savitar collapsed next to me  and I look behind me to see Camila, shakily holding a gun.

Savitar's body began to glow, pieces of him slowly disappearing into thin air.

"Holy shit, Cabello I never knew you knew how to shoot a gun." Nico gasped.

"That was my first time." She shakily placed the gun down.

"Forgot to mention, Camila drove me here." My mom said with a grin as Camila walked up to me with a worried expression.

"You're bleeding." She said, attempting to stop the bleeding on my side but I pushed her hand away.

"I'll heal. I'm just glad you're okay." I assure and wrap my arms around her.

"For the past couple days you were saving me from him and I always wanted to find a way to thank you." She says, slipping off my mask and holding it in her hand. "This counts as my thank you." She laughed, wrapping her arms around my neck.

I was about to lean in to kiss her but—

"Told you!" Gypsy called out, making us pull away. "They're dating."

"Okay see, when you're right about something, don't call them out on it until after their moment." Cisco scolded at Gypsy but she punched his arm.

"Even we saw it from a mile away." Wally coughed, walking with Garrick with small limps here and there.

"We're not dating." Camila and I say in unison, blushes forming on our faces.

"Can we go home now?" I mutter.

"Yeah I need to get stitched up." Nico points at her side.

"My bad." Killer Frost apologizes but Nico shrugs.

"You're lucky I didn't send your ass to the galaxy." Nico mutters.

I held Camila as I had us run to a high rooftop in the city. Camila held on to me tightly and looked around frantically.

"I'm serious, warm me about times like this." She whined.

"Sorry I just wanted to talk to you. Especially after H.R's funeral."  I say, sitting on the edge, having my legs dangle off. She sat next to me but wrapped her arm around mine. "That night with Savitar...did you see when—"

"When you were in his suit?" She asked and I looked at her with a sad expression.

"I'd understand if you're scared and don't want to be a part of this or want to—"

"Hey stop." She cupped my cheek with her hand to look at her. "I wasn't thinking that. I admit, it did scare me when I saw you were about to kill him but I knew you wouldn't do it. You have a good heart." She says, interlocking her hand with mine.

"Honestly...you were the reason why I didn't go through with it. You were the reason why I managed to stop Savitar. Every time I faltered or made a mistake, I thought about you. You were there for me when I felt like giving up." I explain and she smiles. "What I'm trying to say is...without you, there wouldn't be Jetstream."

She shyly looks at our fingers and nods slowly.

"Now that we saved the city, do you want to...go on a date with me?" I ask and she chuckled.

"Of course." She replies. I attempted to lean in for a kiss but she backed away.

"Uh...I don't kiss on the first date." She says and I furrow my brows.

"Did you forget about us making out in my house?" I laugh and she shrugged innocently.

"I don't recall." She laughs.

I was about to say something back when a loud clap of thunder came from the skies. It shook the building a bit but I held Camila tightly.

"What's going on?" She asked and another light night bolt struck down again.

"I'm not sure." I say and make us stand up. "It's not safe here."

As I made us run to S.T.A.R Labs, I saw more lightning bolts striking down, making the people in the city run for their lives. I see everyone else in front of the building, looking around in shock as they see the chaos happening.

"Dad?" I call out and he turns to me with relief. "What's going on?"

"It's the speed force prison." Garrick explains. "It needs an occupant. When you guys freed me, we emptied it. Without a prisoner—"

"It becomes unstable." Nico finished, looking around as the bolts became larger and destructive. "So now it's just bleeding our energy into here."

"So how do we stop it? Can't Nico just use her staff to wish it away?" Camila asks.

"We would lose our powers and make the world unbalanced." Garrick shook his head.

"We have to give it what it wants." My dad said and I cross my arms.

"Which is what?" My mom asks and he turns to her.

"I have to stabilize it." He says but I shake my head. "I have to by running into it."

"Are you fucking crazy? No, you're not going." I pleaded.

"Barry, you'll be trapped there forever." My mom wiped her eyes.

"If I don't go, the whole city or practically the whole planet can be destroyed." He says.

"Cisco, there's got to be another way." I say but he's frozen in place, watching more bolts strike down.

"Dad, Central City needs The Flash." I beg and he nodded.

"They already have two." He placed his hands on my shoulder. "You and Wally." He pulls Wally into a hug and he nodded slowly. He shakes Harry's and Julian's hands saying his goodbyes and turns to Camila and Nico.

"Watch over her. She needs her friends to keep her grounded." He says and they nod.

"Barry, Wally and Jay said they were in hell." My mom says but all he did was nod.

A portal formed near us and a woman walked out, a sad expression on her face.

"B-Barry it's your mother." Joe whispers, shock written on his face.

"It's the speed force." My dad says but I ran to him, wrapping my arms around his waist

"Dad please don't go." I pleaded.

"Barry isn't going to hell. Like all runners, all must eventually reach their finish line." The speedforce says and I shook my head. "His race is over."

"This is bullshit. Please he's my dad, don't take him away." I hold him tighter.

"She's not taking me away." He says, rubbing circles around my back. "I have to go."

"Why? Why are you being punished?" My mom asks, joining the hug as well.

"This, all of this, started with my mistake, with Flashpoint. Savitar wouldn't have existed, we would have had a daughter the right way, Cisco would've still had his brother alive, all because of what I did. This is my penance. This is my redemption." He explains, sadly looking at me and my eyes widened.

"What do you mean have a daughter the right way?" I ask.

"In the original reality, your mom couldn't get pregnant so I...I messed with the timeline and things along the way messed up. So I tried fixing it and when I came back, you weren't a baby anymore but you became a teenager. In this reality I never was around, that's why it's somewhat surprising to you to see me around." He explained to me.

"So I just...woke up one day and boom...I'm your daughter?" I ask and he nodded. "I-I need a minute."

"My beautiful boy...it's time to rest." The speedforce said with a smile. I let go of my dad, watching him hug Cisco next.

"Don't mess it up with her." He says as he eyed Gypsy.

"I'll do my best." Cisco said, patting my dad's back before he lets go so he would hug Joe next.

"All this time we're trying to save Iris, you're telling me that we should've been trying to save you too?" He asks, his voice slightly shaking. My dad puts his hands on his shoulders.

"You did save me, Joe. You took an eleven year old boy with a broken heart and you gave him a home, and so much love. No son ever felt more love from a father." He says and Joe pulled him into a hug.

"No father ever felt more proud of a son." He says and my dad pulls away.

He walks to my mom and I, but hugs me first.

"They're going to look to you now." He says but I shook my head.

"I'm not a-a hero like you." I wipe my eyes.

"You've always been my hero." He says and I hug him tighter. I heard my mom sniffle which broke me even more.

"Barry, it's time." The speed force says and I reluctantly pull away. He cups my moms face, wiping her tears with his thumb.

"This isn't fair." She cries and my dad nodded, knowing it was true. "We were supposed to have our happy ending. We were supposed to have our wedding soon. I'm ready to be a Iris West-Allen." She says and I felt Camila wrap her arms around my body.

"And you always will be. You need to keep living your life. Keep growing, keeping loving, keep running with Y/N. For me. Promise me you'll run, Iris." He says and she nods.

"I promise." She whispers softly and pulls him in for a kiss. They keep their heads pressed together, as if they want to remember the details of their eyes so they would never forget.

"I gotta go." He says, pulling away from her and walking closer to the portal. My mom wraps her arms around me and I hug her tighter.

He holds the speed force's hand and turns to look back at us. He gives a weak smile before stepping through the portal, disappearing as he walked further into it.

Once the portal disappeared, the lightning bolts from the sky, slowly started to calm down until eventually, they all disappeared.

"Now what do we do?"
