Y/N's POV:

"Again." Wally repeated for what felt like the millionth time.

I huffed as Cisco started up the simulation again. A virtual Savitar appeared with Camila holding a blade against her back along with my parents and Nico tied up behind him. Camila had tears streaming down her face and I knew under the metallic mask, Savitar was smirking at me.

"You're too late, Jetstream." He spoke out and Cisco clapped.

"Ha! The name works!" He cheered which made Wally roll his eyes.

"Focus, Y/N.  Do what I taught you." He instructed and I nodded. I circled around them a couple times, causing a gust of wind to hit Cisco and Caitlin by the computers but Wally stood his ground.

As if everything was in slow motion, I felt the electricity run through my arm which made me stop in place and I attempted to throw the bolt. Unfortunately, nothing came out and Savitar laughed menacingly.

"Say goodbye to-" Cisco shut off the system which made the holograms disappear.

"You have to run faster. Hell, faster than the Flash." Wally crossed his arms and I groaned in frustration.

"I'm running as fast as I can." I glared.

"Not fast enough. You have to run around a couple times and feel the lightning course through your fingers so you could throw the bolt." Wally explained, pinching the brink of his nose.

"Can't you see that I'm doing that? It's not working!" I exclaimed.

"You're not trying hard enough. Go again."

"No, screw this. Let's face it, I'm not cut out to be a superhero. I'm not as fast as Barry, I can't do the lightning bolt trick, and I can't even do the simplest combat attacks!" I yelled.

"That's why we're teaching you how to. I didn't get it on my first try but eventually I did it." Wally explained and Caitlin walked up to me with a water bottle and a towel.

"It just takes time to perfect it." She said with a small smile, placing her hand on my shoulder.

"We don't have time! Savitar has Nico, Camila, and my parents! They're all at risk because of me. They're relying on me and I might let them down because I'm not capable of what my Dad can do! I didn't even want these powers to begin with."

I shoved her hand off and walked away from the training room. I somehow made it to the cells where apparently they store meta humans. I sat down on the floor and ran a hand through my hair.

"Wally stressing you out?"

I looked up and saw Joe with curious expression on his face and had his arms crossed.

"More like pissing me off." I muttered which made him chuckle. "I've seen videos of my Dad easily beating criminals and he isn't afraid to do whatever it takes to get what he needs and I thought I could do it too. I can barely do a simple move. "

"You're not the Flash, Y/N. That's not the kind of hero you'll be." He took a seat next to me and chuckled. "You know, your father had the same issue. He compared himself with the Arrow too much."

"Then what kind of hero would I be?" I asked, fiddling with my fingers.

"The kind that'll go through hell for the ones they love. I already knew that you always give people a chance instead of someone telling you they're no good. I mean, that's why you became friends with Nico in the first place. I remember when you were in elementary school and you told me how you two instantly clicked, besides the fact your parents kept telling me that she was a bad influence." He said and I smiled at the memory of meeting Nico for the first time.

"That goes for Camila as well. Showing her the lab was a risk but yet if it weren't for her, you wouldn't be here by now. She's going to be someone important in your life." He nudged my hip teasingly but I scratched my neck nervously.

"You're gonna be willing to blur the lines between right and wrong and that's the kind of hero you'll be." He explained and I looked up, meeting his eyes. "And that's what makes you different than the Flash."

"I just feel like I'm constantly letting my parents down. I never wanted to disappoint them."

"You never did. I mean, they say you're a handful but that's what makes them love you. These mistakes that you do, shape you into a better person so you could teach your future kids. Your mother always tells me how proud she is that you're never letting anyone crush your spirit and the accomplishments you make. Even your father says that he's glad he has an amazing daughter who keeps him going and wouldn't have it any other way."

He pulled out the photo I had gave my mom earlier and placed it in my hands.

"They do what they have to do for their daughter. You're what makes them keep Team Flash alive."

I nodded, my eyes brimming with tears and I quickly wiped them away.

"Thanks grandpa." I wrapped my arms around him and he rubbed circles around my back.

"Anytime kiddo." He kissed my head. A siren blared through the entire lab.

"Guys...it's time. Come to the lab quick. Also...I have something for you, Y/N." Cisco's voice rang out.

Joe and I quickly sat up but I grabbed his arm and made us get there quicker with my super speed.

Cisco and Caitlin flinched back but quickly fixated themselves.

"I hate when your father does that." Joe held his chest, taking a deep breath.

I innocently smile. "Sorry."

"Caitlin managed to get a signal from Nico's phone and they're at the abandoned electric facility." Cisco explained, typing something on the computer and a map of Central City appeared. A red dot stood out as it blinked in a spot in the middle of the map .

"And coincidentally it's almost midnight. Savitar must have done that on purpose." Joe scoffed.

"Well there's nothing we can do now. You think you can do this, Y/N?" Wally turned to me. I nodded and stuffed the photo in my pocket.

"I know I can." I said with a confident smile and Wally grinned.

"Good. If you need backup, Cisco and I will be on the alley way that isn't far from where you'll be." He said, and grabbed his suit from the side and quickly slipping it on. He placed his mask over his face and placed his clothes on the table.

"Alright, I'll go first so Savitar won't be focused on you." I said, almost about to run out of the lab but Cisco grabbed my arm.

"Wait! I have a present for you." He said and showed me a blue and purple suit that was on a mannequin. "I based it on the same colors as the sparks that showed on you. And...I knew this fit your style."

I quickly changed into the suit and placed my regular clothes on the table. Caitlin grabbed the mask from the side and placed it over my eyes.

Cisco moves the mirror in front of me and I smiled once I saw the suit on me.

(A/N: let's pretend this isn't iris lmao but i changed the colors to match with your streak.)

"What do you think, Jetstream?" He asked with a smirk and I chuckled.

"I love it." I said and Wally patted my back.

"Now let's kick Savitar's ass." Wally smirked.

I ran out of the building as fast as I could and I heard something buzz in my ear.

"Okay Y/N, you're gonna want to make a left at the next two blocks." I heard Caitlin's voice in my ear. I followed her direction and the city lights started to dim. "Okay now make a right and you'll see the abandoned building."

I turned right and I was met with the facility. Only one street lamp post was lit and it was completely silent.

"I don't see anything guys." I whispered.

"Late on his own time? Doesn't sound like Savitar." I heard Cisco's voice in my other ear.

"Go inside the building and see if you can find anything." Wally's voice rang in my right ear.

I walked closer to the damaged doors and peeked my head inside. I saw Camila and my Dad tied up which made my eyes widen.

Camila was knocked unconscious and my Dad had his chest, hands, and feet frozen. Luckily he was awake but he looked like he was getting weaker by the second.

I quickly ran to him and he looked up at me with shock written all over his face.

"W-Who are you?" He shivered and I slipped off my mask. "Y/N? Oh my god, you're okay." He tried to reach up to me but he realized his hands were frozen.

"Guys, I found my Dad and Camila." I said and I heard Joe sigh in relief. "It's just some of his body parts are frozen."

"Place your hands on the ice and I'll take care of the rest." Caitlin instructed.

I placed my hands on his chest and next thing you know, my hands started to turn red. It immediately started to melt the ice and my dad sighed in relief. I did the same with the rest and he pulled me into a hug.

"I'm so glad you're okay. When did you get your powers?" He cupped my cheek.

"Today. Cisco made the suit and Wally's been training me." I said and he pulled me in another hug.

"I thought Savitar had hurt you." He mumbled.

"Where's mom and Nico?" I asked.

"He took them five minutes ago but I don't
know where." He said and I tried making him stand. "You need to grab her and go back to the lab."

"No, I'm staying here to fight Savitar." I said and he shook his head.

"Absolutely not. You barely just got your powers, you're not ready." He said, pulling his mask over his head.

"I don't care. He threatened to hurt the people I love so he's gonna get his ass kicked for that. He said I was supposed to come alone so I did. You have to take Nico and let me do this." I said.

He was about to argue with me but we heard a laugh come from the building.

"Like father like daughter, how ironic." Savitar's voice echoed around the building.

"Where is she?" My dad yelled and Savitar laughed.

Next thing you know, I felt myself being grabbed by the throat and they threw me to the side, making me crash through the window. I rolled across the dirt outside and groaned in pain.

I saw metallic feet wall slowly towards me and I quickly stood up on my feet.

"Nice suit Y/N...too bad you don't get to use it once I kill you in front of the Flash." He sneered.

I scoffed. "It's Jetstream."

I ran straight toward him and attempted to kick his chest but he grabbed it just in time and threw me to the side. I noticed Wally in the side and I eyed the building, hoping he got the message.

He nodded and sneakily phased through the wall of the building.

"Giving up so easily?" Savitar stepped closer to me and I pushed myself up.

"I'm just getting started." I retorted. He started running towards a different direction and I followed after him.

We stopped in the middle of an intersection and I managed to punch his hip. He grabbed me by the throat before I could react and he chuckled.

"Let's go for a ride." He said and began running again, holding me by the neck.

He stopped in the middle of a field and threw me on the ground. He slammed both of his fists on my chest which practically knocked the wind out of me. I tried to block his hits but he took a strike against my jaw.

My face jerked to the left and he grabbed my throat again. I felt us running again but he threw me as far as he could, causing me to roll on the floor. I couldn't stop rolling which made him grab neck, making us run again.

Barry's POV:

"What's happening?" I asked Caitlin, limping inside the lab with my arm wrapped around Cisco's neck.

"I don't know. It's like her tracker is malfunctioning." Caitlin panicked, typing several things on the computer.

"It's Savitar. He's making her run as if she's in two places at once." Cisco said and I pulled my arm away.

"I have to help her." I said and Wally came out of the medical room.

"If you do, Savitar's gonna hurt Iris and Nico. This one's her fight." Wally said and I sighed.

"I'm going out there once I stop limping." I muttered. I noticed the same girl I was trapped with earlier, come out of the medical room with a blanket wrapped around her.

She saw Y/N on the screen fighting Savitar with a worried expression.

Y/N's POV:

He threw me against a bunch of trash cans in the alley way and I felt myself become dizzy.

Thank god we stopped. I don't think I could handle another run.

"And I thought your father was bad with his speed. Turns out you're even worse." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Who the hell are you anyway?" I groaned.

"Like I told Barry, I'm the future Flash. And before I kill Iris, I'm gonna kill Camila in front of you first." He stepped closer to me.

I glared and stood up quick, punching him square in the face. He fell back but got his balance back. He aimed for my ribs but I grabbed his hand and zoomed behind him and pulled it behind his back. I wrapped my other arm around his neck and I held my grip as he tried pulling me off.

"Show your face!" I yelled.

He twisted me around and turned his hand into a sharp knife. Before I could react, he plowed it into my chest and I felt it reach the other side. I gasped and slowly looked up to meet his face.

"I could kill you right now but I want Barry to witness your death." He said as he pushed me closer to the wall, turning the blade which made me yell out in pain.

"Get off her!"

A red blur shoved Savitar off of me but his blade still remained in my chest. I slid against the wall and saw my dad fighting Savitar.

Cisco appeared in front of his portal and he widened his eyes.

"Holy shi—"

"C-Cisco, I c-can't breathe." I panted and Cisco tried pulling out the blade. I whimpered when he accidentally twisted it which made him stop.

My dad crashed against the wall and Savitar held on his broken end of the blade.

"This isn't over. Till next time, Jetstream." Savitar spat and sped out of the alley. My dad slipped off his mask and crouched down to my level with panic written all over his face.

"Oh my god." He cupped my cheek and I smiled weakly. "Stay awake okay? We're gonna get this thing off of you."

"Savitar's tougher than he looks." I joked and spit out the blood.

"We gotta get you back to the lab." My dad picked me up and wrapped my arm around his neck. Cisco created another portal and we jumped inside.

We instantly appeared inside the lab and Caitlin immediately become horrified once she saw me.

"Get her on the bed." She instructed and my dad carefully placed me on the bed.

I notice Camila run in here as well and her eyes instantly widened. I relaxed knowing she wasn't hurt at all but she still held her worried expression.

"Be honest, does this make me look like a badass?" I whisper and she giggled.

"How are you messing around at your state like this?" She asked and I looked down at the metallic shard in my stomach.

"To ignore the fact I have that inside me." I attempted to smile.

"This may hurt a lot." Caitlin said, slipping on her gloves and I shut my eyes. I felt someone slide their hand into mine and I looked up, seeing it was Camila. She squeezed my hand in comfort, showing that she wasn't leaving my side.

"Just do it." I mumbled. Caitlin grabbed the blade with both of her hands and yanked it off my stomach which made me yell in pain.

I felt myself getting weaker by the second along with my vision becoming blurry. Rapid beeping was happening in the background but all I could do was stare at Camila. She was mouthing something to me but no words came out of her mouth.

A mask was placed over my mouth but all I saw was darkness afterwards.
