I finish getting ready for the party. My best friend invited me to her birthday party. Luckily it's in Florida. Her party is at her beach house and everyone is invited. It's going to one hell of a party if you ask me.

I walk out of my room to see cam sitting on the couch. "Took you long enough." He says jokingly. I send him a glare and he raises his hands in defeat. I grab my phone and we walk out.

I get in the passengers seat while cam gets in the drivers seat. "Ready baby sister?" "First dont call me baby in front of my friends please?" I ask him while doing a puppy dog face. He rolls his eyes while laughing. "No promises."

*time skip*
We get to the party. Emily welcomes me in a big hug. "Thanks for coming!" She yells over the music. "Thanks for inviting us." I tell back. She smiles and takes my hand. She leads me to the dance floor. We start dancing around and goofing off.

A boy comes up to her and kisses her cheek. "Hazel this is my boyfriend Tyler." She says. "Hi!" I say to him. "Hey." He says back. He walks to the punch bowl. We go to a table then Tyler brings us punch.

"Thanks." I say. He nods. He sits beside emily and puts his arm around her. "So are you and your brother cool?" She asks. "Yeah why wouldn't we be?" "Don't know I mean after what all happened. I'm surprised he just didn't leave."

I scoff. "Yeah me to. But who can complain." I say. "That's the spirit." She says while nudging me. The music stops and the sound of a mic plays. We turn to see who's doing it. Chris. (Another friend.) stands on the stage.

"Emily. Happy birthday girl. You are one of my best friends. Your the best and I love you." He speaks. Emily's face turns red and the music starts playing again. Tyler asks emily to dance. Of coarse she's says yes so they get up and go to the dance floor.

I'm left alone at our table just sitting her awkwardly. When I mean awkwardly I mean it's REALLY AWKWARD!! Then brad comes up to me. "Want to dance?" He asks. I take his hand. "Sure."

Till the world ends plays by Brittany spears. A/N- yeah I know it's old but who cares it's still catchy. He starts doing some weird dance moves. I can't help but laugh. But hey my dancing isn't any better believe me! I keep laughing as he spins me around.

"You look really pretty tonight." He whispers sending me shivers down my back. "Thanks you look handsome." I say nudging him. "Will you be....." Oh god please don't say girlfriend. Please!! "My best friend?" I let out a sigh and nod.

We hug. "Hey!!" I hear a voice. I turn to see hayes. Oh no. "What do you think your doing hugging my girlfriend?" He asks pissed. "Hayes stop were just friends." I cut in. "Chill dude she's my best friend you need to stop being jealous." Brad says.

"Well she's my girl of coarse I'm jealous." "No wonder she was thinking of leaving you. Jealous guys never last long." Hayes pushes brad. "Stop!!" I yell at them. "Both of you just stop!!" I scream trying to break them up. Soon enough I got punched in the eye.

They stop and stare at me. People gather around. Cam pushes his way through and sees me. "What the hell is going on!?" He yells. "He was all over hazel!" Hayes says pointing at brad. "You were touching my little sister?" Cam asks. "I was just hugging her. We're best friends. Then this little guy came and got all defensive." Brad says.

Hayes tried jumping him but cam holds him back. I'm just standing there with my hand over my eye. These guys both need to chill. I turn around and storm out. "Hazel!!" I hear cam yell.
