We arrive at this fancy restaurant that over looks the lake. "Wow Hayes this is beautiful." I say admiring the place. "Just like you." He says. "Someone's cheesy." His mom whispers. I can't help but laugh.

"Mom!" "Oh right." She walks away like she wasn't even here. "I love your mom." I say. He smiles. We get seated at a booth. I look out the window to see the sunset.

"How much was this?" "That's for me to know and for you to never know." I roll my eyes smiling. "Geek." I order some chicken fingers because I'm a kid at heart.

He orders some tacos. "I didn't know this was a Mexican restaurant." I say drinking my water. "Hey. Tacos are natures medicine." "What?" "I don't know just know that tacos are the best."
"Whatever."

Few hours later were walking around the park. He holds my hand. We stop at a random bench. "I want to give you this." He hands me a heart locket necklace.

"Awe you didn't have to." "Yes yes I did I want you to know that you have my heart. I've made some mistakes and I regret that but I want you to know that your the only person who will have my heart. I love you hazel. Only you." He puts his hands around my waist.

"Thanks Hayes." I put my hands around his neck. Before we kiss I hear someone clear their throat from behind. Hayes sighs and i turn around.

I see Luke with Emberly. Great. "Oh hi." I say. "Hey." Luke says. Well this is awkward. "What's up with your hair?" Hayes asks. I smile a little bit. Hold in your laugh hazel just hold it in.

"Um what's up with your girlfriend? I didn't know pigs were attractive." She snaps back. I roll my eyes while smiling. Don't get me started. Hayes starts to say something but I hold him back.

"She's not worth it." I say to him. "Nice to see you Luke." I say then walk away. Hayes grabs ahold of my hand and we walk back to my house. "I can't stand her." He says. "Same."

I start getting goose bumps. He takes off his football jacket and puts it around me. "Thanks." I say. "No problem." We get in front of my house. I stop and face him.

"Thanks for tonight it was fun." I say taking off the jacket. He stops me. "Keep it I snag people to look at you and say she's Hayes's." I smile. "It's cute when you blush." I nudge him.

I lean in and we kiss. We break apart before it got heated. "Love you." I say. "I love you." He mumbles giving me little kisses on my lips. "Ok go home nerd." I say pushing him.

He laughs and starts walking away. I smile and walk to the front porch. I walk in to see mom and Travis on the couch making out.

"Ew ok did not want to see that!" I say closing my eyes. I hear my mom laugh. "Get to bed." She pats me away. I run up the stairs to my room. I shut the door and lay on my bed.

I stare at the ceiling. Best night ever!
