Personality: 

There's more than meets the eye in the case of the laid back Hiroto Takahashi, but the two traits most people enjoy the most are that he's good-natured and charm. Of course he's also kind, earnest and forthright, but they're in shorter supply, especially considering they're mixed with small doses of pedantic as well. His good nature though, this is what he's pretty much known for. Friends tend to count on this and his observant nature especially when they need comforting or support. Nobody's perfect of course and Hiroto has plenty of less favorable characteristics too. His  over-protectiveness and care-free nature risk ruining pleasant moods, though more on a personal level than for others. Fortunately his charm is there to relight spirits when needed.

Backstory: 

Hiroto is a year older than Hayami but when the moment hen was born, he was made her protector. They were always together since diapers because their parents wanted them to grow close and care for one another. When Hiroto was able to talk, his first words were part of Hayami's name; calling her Ami which became a nickname for her by him. Hiroto was talented but Hayami always outshine him which was to his satisfaction he supported her and grew even closer. One day they had stuck out with other cousins and went to Tokyo and almost hour and a half into th trip, he had lost sight og her. He felt like his world ended and searched for her everywhere. Calling for her and asking if anyone saw her, he thought he'd lost her forever until she popped back up. Hiroto scolded her like no tomorrow and held her for dear life. From that day on, he swore she'd never leave his side or sight and he even moved into her house just to be at her side. Once they entered the gang and needed to go through evaluation and tests, Hiroto was right with her and protector and visa versa. They were unstable together and still are to this day, both given remember able nicknames and made a name for themselves at each others sides. When they were given a mission to infiltrated the academy, Hiroto was going to barely pass the exams on purpose but didn't know Hayami would do the same. He didn't like her doing it because she'd be a target of bullying by the high honor students but she refused to listen to him at all so he sucked it up and became alert while at the academy for her sake. He becomes a demonic like person when he sees anyone being rude to her or trying to touch her, he even broken a students wrist once when they grabbed Hayami. He didn't get in trouble but he did get scolded by the short blond.

Though he is a very laid back person the rest of the time when Hayami isn't in danger, he's popular with the girls but he comes in second with another certain raven haired male but he doesn't care, he only want to protect his precious Ami. He hates that she plays dumb though and act ditzy when she's smart and agile like a puma but he only got a response about how she wanted to be normal for a bit and hide her true strength. He doesn't question her anymore but if he life is threatened, he will reveal his strength to protect her.
