'mom!' jeonghan cried, running towards the hospital bed, hugging her with a tight grip, hopping she'll rest in his arms forever

'ah- jeonghan please, your hugging me too hard!' she replied, patting his back

jeonghan felt tears form as he loosen his grip, still not letting go

'sweetie don't cry- im here, im fine-' she said causing jeonghan to actually cry, she rubbed her thumb on his cheek, wiping away the fresh tears

'm-mom, just 2,000 more dollars, i promise. than you'll be off to surgery!' he than smiled giving her a soft glare

'han, don't stress yourself, worry about yourself, your so beautiful. promise me you'll worry about yourself' she said sincerely, stroking his hair in between her hands

'i promise. hang in there please, i love you so much, your birthday is coming soon, is there anything you want?' jeonghan asked as she nodded

'for you to be happy and healthy. that's all i'll ever need.' she smiled

'you act so cool but your really not!' he argued

'jealous?' she grinned, causing her son to quickly cringe

'oh god no, i'll just ask aunt min what you'd like' he said as he played with her hands

she weakly leaned in to kiss her son's temple 'honey. thank you so much, honestly, you've done so much to help me, i love you'

'this doesn't make up one percent of what you have done for me. honestly this is nothing, besides, im your favorite child' he smiled as she laughed

'hey, don't be full of yourself! your sister won't like that' she hissed as he deeply laughed

'can't hide the truth' he whispered as she slowly smiled from all the energy jeonghan had for her, if it was anyone else he would avoid a full out conversation to sleep, and in some situations, lay on the floor

they heard a soft knock before the door being to open 'mr.yoon, your session ends in 5 minutes, your mother needs to rest' the nurse had said as he nodded, bowing, as she walked away

'do well mom, im almost there.' jeonghan reassured as she smiled

'i could wait hundreds of years just for you, no rush at all' she replied as jeonghan felt the most grateful for his mother

'wait! let's take a picture so i can show it off to little sis' she laughed at the fact that he still called her "little sis" but to his offense it stands for "little sissy"

after snapping the photos, they said there goodbyes as jeonghan headed out

jeonghan was extremely happy, he usually doesn't see his mother often, because one, she is very ill, and two the hospital isn't really kind towards the yoon family, no reason though, they are usually mean to a lot of the low income families

he walked out.
