Ray was not feeling good either. He was trying to stomach his discovery but to no avail. He wanted to find the reason behind that mark on Kayla. It had disturbed him to the point where he felt as if he was reliving the horrors of his childhood again.

Ray slowly walked home. He traversed through the suburbs to his own home. Ray opened the door and slowly crept inside. Trifen was in his lab working on his projects. Ray went into the lab and greeted his father, but instead he was given a cold stare of disappointment by his father.

Trifen was never a good parent. He never had the time to spend with his family as he was always indulged in science. Trifen got appraisal from the military and he became even more distant. It was like he had become a soulless robot. He did not even notice the bandage on his son's head.

Ray silently went up to his room and tried his hardest to forget about everything. He wanted to be back in the mental state he was in 24 hours ago. Ray put the Noroi mark at the back of his mind and went to bed. Somehow, he was able to fall asleep.

It was like almost like bliss for him.

By the time he woke up, he was feeling a lot better. Somehow his mind was at peace once more. Ray pulled out his GHolo and started tapping away. He was searching for something, he was searching for Kayla's school. Skywi High School. He's able to find it.

Ray fills out a transfer program form and submits it. He plans to get more close to Kayla, as a means to understand the meaning of the mark even more. Ray goes to his kitchen, eats a sandwich and goes to sleep again.

When morning arrives, he takes out his Tokomi and transforms his clothes to the school's uniform. Ray goes downstairs and eats his breakfast. He leaves for his new school moments later. Trifen is notified of his son's transfer but he takes no steps to stop it.

Ray is able to keep his mind calm as he approaches his destination. He enters the school building inconspicuously and searches for the class allotted to him. By this time, the school has started and classes are underway.

After a bit of fiddling around, he's able to find his class 9.B. Kayla is in her attentive stage and she does not notice Ray entering inside. The teacher had informed the arrival of a new student to the class beforehand. Ray is told to give an introduction about himself.

"Hello everyone! My name is Ray Williams. I plan on studying here from now on. Treat me good and I'll treat you better and vice versa."

"Ray, okay that's enough. Why don't you go sit behind that girl by the window?"

Kayla's senses came back to her when she heard Ray talking. She could not believe it was real. She couldn't believe Ray was actually in her school and in her class!

Ray pretends to not notice her and quietly sits behind her.

Kayla is wide awake the whole time from there on. Inside, she's desperate to find out how Ray wind up here. She begins formulating a few theories but concludes that she'll ask him instead.

After the class is over, she turns around and begins questioning Ray. Kayla believes that Ray had not noticed her but in reality he had.

"How the baloney did you get here?!"

"What do you mean? I got transferred here by my school."

"You guys know each other?" Zandra cuts in.

Kayla is distraught and hesitant to answer Zandra's question.

"Yeah. We do know each other." Ray answers. "I 'crashed' into her the day before yesterday."

"Woah. That must be why she's so distressed these days!" Zandra adds

"I'm perfectly fine! This is all just a weird coincidence that this guy is here"

"Yeah. Sure." Zandra is curious.

The next teacher comes and the class starts. Ray's presence is now noticed by Kayla and her friend. But the true motive behind his transfer remains a mystery to Kayla.
