Aratain Reizei came to the age when she could leave the shrine she was raised in since she was small girl. She can't remember when she was first brought to the shrine and while there she went by a different name, Aratain Nakamura. Everyone there took on the name Nakamura and they were all treated like family but Aratain wanted to know about those who left her behind. So did what no one else had ever done, she left.

After leaving the shine Aratain enrolled herself in school under her birth name. She enters Nekoma High as a first year and right away she made friends quickly. Now in her second year she's living a life she didn't know she could. She's invited to join Nekoma High Girl's Volleyball team, by request of a third year at the time, and by being on the girl's team she meets the boy's team, and by meeting the boy's team she meets their nervous Ace Taketora Yamamoto.
