Jade instantly recognized the wolf as Wyatt.

"Wyatt, what the hell are you doing out here!?" Jade barked, still in wolf form for as she towered over the smaller wolf. Wyatt ducked his head and tucked his tail between his hind legs, obviously guilty.

"I just went for a walk." He whimpered as Harper finally caught up to then. Harper, being the protective beta she is, let out a low growl at the unknown wolf. "Easy Harper, it's just Wyatt." Jade remarked, hearing her friend's reaction.

"Wyatt, you need to-" Jade's sentence got cut short when she heard crunching of leaves. It was a faint sound but it wasn't faint enough for it to be undistinguishable. Jade's eyes roamed the surrounding trees, carefully analyzing each and every detail around her, until she landed on a dark figure.

Purposely, the figure stepped out, revealing a man, a taller one to be precise. He was around 6'3, half of his face covered by his brown hood that he wore. He had darker hair, it almost looked black from the three other wolves perspective, but it was dyed that way. This man standing before them was Ace Remington, one of the most powerful hybrid ever known to the supernatural. He was half wolf and half vampire, the side of his face that was covered was burned, leaving the skin bubbled and pink.

Almost burned by humans a thousand years before. He showed signs of a sickly man at that time, he was pale because of the vampire blood in him but he never got better because of it, so they thought it was witchcraft. They tied him to a stake and set it on fire. Only half of his body burned before he escaped the fire and ran towards the woods, ever since then, he stayed in hiding. Since he had a unique bloodline of both wolf and vampire, his natural hair color was extremely white, being somewhat embarrassed of this, he dyed his hair black.

Jade, Harper and Wyatt all turned towards the large man and analyzed him. Being in the same pack comes in handy for these three wolves seeing as they can communicate without speaking.

'We can take him, it's three against one.' Jade exclaimed as she looked up at Ace.

'We don't know that though, he could be a vampire, I mean look at how pale he is.' Harper remarked, squinting her yellowish eyes at him.

Wyatt didn't communicate with the two girls and instead leaped at the man. It was a far jump but Wyatt made it. The darker grey wolf tackled Ace and brought him to the ground, but since Wyatt was smaller, Ace grabbed Wyatt by the neck and flung him across the opening like he was a rag doll.

Jade growled loudly as she noticed this. Her eyes almost glowing from the rage exerting from her body. Not even thinking before she made her move, Jade pounced on Ace, much like Wyatt did but she instead went for his neck, immediately latching on to it.

Ace struggled to breathe, the bite in his neck suffocating him as the wolf but down harder. Harper even pounced onto the man and stood on top of him, making sure he was unable to get up.

Jade could feel the warm metallic tasting liquid fill her mouth but she continued to bite down harder. That was until Ace pulled out a small pistol. One shot was fired and it was aimed at Jade.

Jade fell to the ground, releasing her grip on Ace's neck as she did. Wyatt finally became conscious again and ran towards his sister, fully transformed into human form again. Harper was immediately by Jade's side as soon as she fell. For Ace, he disappeared, he took off running even though he had a major injury.

Jade laid there, her whole self feeling as if it was leaving her motionless body and returning again and again. Her eyes were barely open but she couldn't see anything out of them, it was just blurry colors and shapes. The ringing in her ears prevented her from being able to hear Wyatt and Harper telling her that it will be okay.

Harper was desperately trying to cover up the bullet hole implanted near Jade's shoulder, as she was in human form. Two inches down and the bullet would've hit her heart. Harper told Wyatt to go get green leaves from a tree nearby and as soon as she was done explaining, Wyatt was gone. A minute later he was back with a good stack of leaves. Harper easily took them from him and set them on top of Jade's wound, putting a decent amount of pressure on the open wound. The blood slowly stopped flowing from her body, as Harper kept it stable.

Jade soon shifted back to human. Harper shifted to wolf and put Jade's motionless body on her back before taking off towards the others, Wyatt following close behind.

Jinx looked towards the group of wizards that arrived. There was a range of sizes among them, some were small and tiny, while others were large and bulky.

"Thank you for coming." Jinx started off, her voice strong and intimidating towards the crowd.

"Now without further A do, let's get started." She began, as she walked closer to the group, whispering to the group of wizards.

Trevor sat inside the house, he had his feet plopped onto the coffee table with the remote in his hand. He wasn't really watching the television, no instead he was in a daydream. He was thinking about what was going to happen between the clans and the outcome.

Yet, he was pulled out of his thoughts.

By a loud, frantic knock on the door.

Cautiously he walked towards it until he reached the door, he looked through the peep hole and gasped loudly.

Quickly throwing the door open, he rushed outside and picked up Jade's motionless body. Harper was laid down next to Jade while Wyatt was panting hard. Trevor rushed inside and immediately set Jade on the floor, propped her head up with a pillow then ran to get the first aid kit. Many of the other pack members rushed to help their alpha, getting water and other medical supplies to help her. Trevor returned with the kit, immediately sat on his knees, opened the kit and grabbed what he needed.

They walked through the forest, many of them in formation as they marched. They were close to the house, and almost ready for attack.
