ETTVB 8: Let It Go

"Eh? The youngest prince Kyouta is adopted?!" A high pitched maid asks. I think they're humans too.

"I just heard it from an old maid working here for years now! But she said she's a bit unsure whether he's an illegitimate son then adopted to make it seem real." The other replied.

"Excuse me, what did you guys say?" I asked them stepping out of the shadows.

"Ahh... Princess?!" One of them stated.

"Yes. So can you please tell me what you know about the princes?" Both of them flinched and looked at each other and it was evident in their eyes that they're asking each other what they're suppose to do.

"Umm.. We should get going now... excuse us princess." Both of them started running away.

"Hold on!" I tried stopping them but I couldn't catch up with my high wedges. I gave up and decided to return to my room and buried my face on the pillows. It hasn't even been one week but I feel like I've been stuck here for a decade!

But one thing for sure is locked in my head...

He looked a bit similar to Kazuya and Kazuto so how will it even be possible?

I haven't heard or read of that occurence in any of the old literature passed and shared between both vampire and human clans.

I clench my chest and a deep feeling exploded all of a sudden. My breathing went heavier and heavier and sweat was swelling up on my skin. Why am I feeling weird suddenly?!

"MOMMY!" a little boy calls out running towards a field.

"Run away... Haruka!!!!" A familiar voice of a lady echoed in my head. She was wrapped in ropes and blood was coming from different parts of her as a man stood behind her strangling her.

"You're a disgraceful queen wouldn't you say?" The man whispers close to her ears grinning.

"Let go of her!" A man arrives and this time I know his identity. It was King Ambrogio and he seemed to be in a younger state! "Let go of my wife!" The face of the lady went clearer and it was the same beautiful lady in the family portrait I saw in the child's room but who was the kid who called her mommy just now?!

"Would you look at that Selene Adrasteia! Your husband has arrived to save you." The man sarcastically laugh and a dark aura has surrounded him as his hands move to her belly. "And to think you would be having another child with this woman?! How can you be so naive your highness?" The man continued laughing.

The royal guards started arriving and circled around the queen.

"MOMMY!" the child screamed again crying. His face became more obvious. He wasn't in the picture and definitely he wasn't Kazuto and Kazuya.

My eyes both opened and my breathing was still in an uproar. I looked around and I was still in my room wearing the same dress but the sun was high now. I stood up and rushed to the bathroom with my stomach feeling flipped. I threw up the food I consumed last night.

Disgusting.

I got back to my bed and relaxed myself.

I'll be stuck here forever right? Sucks...

That's when I remember my bestfriend, Cassie, who's a detective. I dialled her private number and after three rings she picks up.

"Hello?"

"Hey babe it's me." Don't get the wrong idea readers. We just call each other babe for the fun of it.

"Oh. Hey babe! I read in the news you're in vamps land. I was in NZ that time so never informed. Is it true?"

"Yeah... Unfortunately for me right?"

"Mm. I went to your house the other day and no one seemed to honestly care."

"Really? That's sad."

"But don't count me with them! I really miss you gal!"

"Me too! Actually Cassie I need to ask you a favor. A big one."

"Sure thing babe. Let's hear it."

"Can you search everything related to the royal vamps? Include any relations with the humans."

"Woah!  A big scope! Something happened?"

"Not exactly. I feel uneasy here but I can't research nor ask anuone about this. So... Can you?"

"Of course! I'll send it to you via email alright?"

"Ok. Cool. Thanks Cassie!"

"No problemo babe! Good luck and love you babe!"

"Thanks babe. Love you too!" And we hunged up.

I rolled on my bed and closed my eyes. Hopefully tomorrow would be a great day.

"My love... See you soon...."A sweet faint voice echoed.

I gasped and the sunlight blinded me hard. I was panting really hard again.

"Not again.... Who.... Was that....?" I looked around and no one was around my room.

It's been a week since I've moved to vampire land and it's been 4 days since the Kyouta incident and I have been seeing strange dreams and nightmares.

I grab the photo from under my cabinet and I looked closely at it. It was a family picture where Kazuto and Kazuya were holding the baby girl and the married couple for sure were King Ambrogio and the late Queen Selene Adrasteia.

She was definitely the one who was tortured and killed with the baby girl.

I flipped the picture and a photo of a famous actor from way back years ago, Leo Johnson was displayed with a beautiful lady who looks like Queen Selene Adrasteia. They were both weaeing formal clothes and the rings on their fingers matches.

Who is she?

Seriously.... Will it even get worse than this?
