ETTVB 4: Heaven

I felt a pair of frozen arms shaking me and when I open my eyes, Kyouta was staring close to my face.

"You awake now?"

I rubbed my eyes and nodded. "Come on. We're here."

My mind was still floating but I got down and the chilly feeling has lessen. There was a strong scent of flowers in the place that made me fully awake and my jaw litterally fall down. I was in front of a flowery area by the cliff side.

Oh my gosh... It's so pretty!!!

"I knew you'd like it." I turned and saw Kyouta smiling.

"Where are we? I mean.. we were by the snowy ground a while ago so.."

"This is my secret place." He interrupted me. "To get rid of the boring time while everyone is busy sleeping in their coffins." He chuckled cutely.

"So you sleep at night?" I saw him tensed up.

"Didn't you answer your question a while ago that I'm part of the half bloods?"

"Ugh... Yeah. But something doesn't make sense to me... You're a prince but a royalty is said to be tied only to the same blood... Or something like that."

"Youre really nosy for someone who hates vampires..." He turned back to the flowery fields.

Well I know I hate them that hasn't change but since I learned of the existence of vampires, I have and had to learn more of their nature. I decided it myself also because of the hatred that filled me up all these time after my mom's death...

It just all got tangled and now my position as sole heiress made it all complicated. I still can't believe my father would be so cruel to sell me but... They did say I should look at it in a different perspective.

"Is that why you're sacrificing yourself?" I turned and he was stood close to me. I nodded. What's the point in hiding your feelings when they could see right through you?

"But tell me, honestly... Are you just being nice to me out of orders?" I asked him sincerely. He took a step to me again but I just remain looking at his eyes. He pulls his finger into my face and gosh it was frozen! But this frozen feeling is... bearable to say. It was completely in a different level from when King Ambogio touched my hands.

So he is really a half-blood.

"No."

I felt like my heart skipped a beat yet again seeing his smile.

"I want us to be friends not because of orders but because I feel like it. Not out of pity but something inside me tells me to do it." He smiled genuinely.

"Ok. Let's be friends." I replied and slowly the gap of our faces gets smaller and I close my eyes.

Soon enough...

Our lips were connected.

It felt a bit uncomfortable because of his temperature but I got used to it and it was an awesome kiss. His hands traveled to my back and that's when my consciousness woke up. I pushed him and covered my lips. "Sorry... This is just wrong..."

"I'm sorry too." I took a peak on him and he was covering his nose and lips. "You were just irresistably adorable." His ears turned red and my cheeks blushed harder. "Forget it happening. Let's go back now." He walks off back to the car.

I turn my body back to the flowery scenery and a fake smile drew on my face. 'Mom... Please help me here!'

I slapped my face hard then started running to the car. I got in and Kyouta started the engine and drove off.

Taking a last look on the beautiful flowery ground, I smiled bitterly. I really hope I can manage living with them.

And then I fell asleep...
