ETTVB 3: Passenger's Seat

I rub my eyes feeling a cold sensation touch me. It's my first day here outside the human boundary. I got up and wore my robe because it was horribly chilly off my comforters. It was 6 in the morning and the vampires are probably asleep now.

Snow had covered the whole land. Did it even snow last night? Ugh. I didn't even see or hear anything.

I remember that after the dinner, they brought me to their mansion. And as they are vampires, they prefer the dark. How would I even survive here? Like I seriously hate their kind!

"If you hate us so much why did you say yes?"

I turn around hearing a familiar voice by the door entrance. It was Kyouta looking blantly at me.

"How did you... get in here? How did you know what I was..." I cut words with my own logic. "Oh right... You're a vampire." He suddenly started walking towards me as something weird got into my head. "You're a vampire but... How come your awake?"

"It's none of your concern." He replied with a husky voice. "Why did you agree to come into our land when you hate us?" I saw the darkness of his eyes.

"Because... I don't want the people to suffer... I'm enough to be their sacrifice..."

"You're an idiot aren't you?" He smirked. "Come and have breakfast before my father learns I didn't try to... Nevermind."

What was that all about?

Yesterday he was really pissed off and despised me but now he's acting different. He left my room then I change into a simple floral dress and wore my jumper on since it still feels cold.

I simply went to the dining hall and no one was in there. I took a few more steps and heard cooking noises so I headed there and to my surprise, Kyouta was cooking. Like... I am speechless!

A vampire that cooks? He was also wearing a long sleeve v-neck winter clothes and black pants with his messy hair on.

"Would your mind fvcking shut up?" There he goes again.

"So... um... You hear everthing everyone thinks?"

"No... Just on humans." He answered calmly plating what I pressume was bacon and eggs.

"Do you guys have the same... abilities?" I took a seat in the kitchen counter. I know I'm being nosy but what can I do? I will be living here until I die.

There was silence before he replied to me. "No. We've got different abilities." He place two plates on the counter and grab coffee and orange tea. Now this is getting weird. He shouldn't be able to eat and drink aside from blood unless...

"Unless what?" He asks as he sips his coffee.

"Unless... Umm... You're one of those half bloods?"

Kyouta smirked again. "You know your thing even if you hate us."

"So are you?"

He forks one of the bacon and bite on it. I was left watching his lips that looked... kissable. He suddebly chuckled making me look away. God! He can read my mind right? What the hell was I saying?

"So Fhae... You're already interested in me hey?" He smiled making me blush yet again.

"D-dddddon't be ridiculous!" I stuttered and just focus on eating. You're the idiot one Kyouta! I glared at him and he just made a tss-sound.

We finish breakfast and I sat on the couch of the living room feeling bored. It was still early but I am extremely bored already. I saw Kyouta sit in the solo couch and flip a thick book.

So I'm stuck like this every morning with him? I sighed. It's so boring! I got my phone and browsed my Twitter account since that's the only social network I can have. I have more than three million followers mostly humans. I typed in...

When I tweeted it, there was soon a lot of reactions and like usual... Never did I once reply to any of their reactions.

"Want to tour the place?" My thoughts were cut short when Kyouta closes the book.

"Sure. If it's not a bother to you though..."

"No." He abruptly said. "Come on." He commanded. I'll be honest but... He's definitely bipolar. I don't get him at all.

We went out and there was a thinner layer of snow as the sun was rising clearly. Is it always like this in their land? Like... it snows around mid-December in human land. And now that I think of it, I'll probably be spending Christmas and New Year in here. I fixed my scarf and made sure my bonnet was perfectly aligned as I got on a blue porche. Kyouta was nice enough to open the door for me.

"Where are we going?" I ask as he started the engine.

"Wait and see." He smiled.

There was a sudden change of feeling when I saw his smile.

I was stunned and my heart... skipped a beat didn't it? I gulped and looked outside. I need to make my mind concentrate on somewhere else and I didn't fail. The land was really quiet and all the houses and shops were close. I took my phone and took a photo and tweeted it.

The journey was longer than expected that I didn't realise I feel asleep as Kyouta drives.
