ETTVB 2: She Will Be Loved

There were quite a number of people watching me as I enter the place. They know of my mother's history so I think they don't want to see it happening again but more importantly...

What did they tell the people?

That I wanted to play house and sleep over with the vampires or that I wanted to be friends with them?

Well in anyway, they would surely have lied.

We arrived at the boundary and the gates were closed as soon as the car I was in and a few escort cars enter. This is the first time for me to actually see and feel the place. It was a warm place filled with life. "Are you Princess Fhae?" A butler was standing by the door. I bowed as how I was trained.

"Yes. Fhae Goldsmith."

"I shall be your escort from here forward." I smiled but his cold face remained intact. "I shall take your things then." He pushes a trolley and my bodyguard puts all my stuff inside.

The place was cold and chilly as I took every step making our step echo in the room.

"The masters are expecting you inside." He bowed opening the door for me and I entered half-dark room with a long table in the middle.

"Welcome Princess Fhae Goldsmith." A middle-aged man stood up and approaches me. He had this different atmosphere around him.

"I assume you are his highness, King Ambrogio?" He shook my hands... His long frozen hands.

"Yes. I am. But I prefer if you'd start calling me Dad."

"It's nice of you to say but I'll pass the offer tonight." I heard a chuckle from the end.

"She is... as what you said father... Unbelievably honest yet I also find her intriguingly funny." A man stood up in that end.

"Come and join us for dinner Princess Fhae." The king escorted me to the chair at the end before he sat down opposite of me. "I wish you'd like the meals we prepared for you Princess Fhae."

"Fhae would be fine your highness. I am no princess in your kingdom."

The king smiled sweetly. "Then allow mr to introduce my sons. First, the eldest, Kazuto." The man who chuckled a while ago stood up.

"I'm Kazuto, Fhae. Let's get to know each other better." Then he sat down. Kazuto had a blonde hair tied up and he had green eyes.

"The second is Kazuya"

"Kazuya at your service Fhae. I am delighted to meet you." Kazuya looks like a scientist with his attire and glasses but he also had a short blonde hair and green eyes.

"And my youngest son, Kyouta."

The place was filled with silence as I look at the guy sitting opposite Kazuya who remained looking at his plate. He had a messy look with his mixed blonde and dark brown hair with his greenish brown eyes. "Kyouta." His father exclaimed emotionless.

The guy stood up coldly. "I'm Kyouta and I don't particularly care to even get close to you humans."

"Kyouta!" Everyone shouted at him and slowly turn their looks on me.

I just smiled at them. "It's a pleasure to meet you all. I am very glad to finally meet his highness and his sons."

So not true!

I seriously despise your kind!

My hands started to shiver as the atmosphere start to get cold and tense with Kyouta's last actions. The king looked at me with an apologetic look and I nodded smiling. "Then shall we get to business Fhae as they bring our meals?"

"Of course."

Maids started to enter and bring our plates. "I believe your father has brought the news to you?"

"Yes. In exchange for saving the people's everyday living... I have to marry one of your sons. May I ask why? What would you obtain in doing this your highness? Is it power? Is it the people?"

"No. I want... both races to help each other and be united. Likely saying we do not drink human blood anymore and do not plan to but humans picture as the same as how Dracula was portrayed in the fiction books. Humans still consider us threats outside their boundaries but they don't know the bigger picture." said the king.

"We've been doing several acts of kindness towards humans but everyone still looks at the mistakes our clan had done in the past." Kazuya added.

"We know we're putting you in a very tight spot and we didn't mean to but... This is the only way we could think off."

"So basically have a child between both races? This is what it's about right?"

"Impressive Fhae." I turn back to the king sipping red liquid from his glass wine.

"So I'm right?"

"Yes... But not a hundred percent. A child between both clans would still create a dispute on who gets to keep the child. That's why we want you to see how we live with your own eyes and ears. Anyway, I would like for you to start to get to know my sons so you can chose at once too."

"What?"

"Has your father not told you that the marriage will be in a month?"

My heart sank to the floor. What the hell?!

"N-no your highness. That's a first time I heard of it."

"Sorry to break it to you princess." Kazuya said. "But we need to have an heir to the throne with any of us you would choose."

"Just to let you know..." I turn to Kazuto who was smilling. "Until you pick the prince you want to spent forever with... The three of us... are your fiancés."

What the hell have I gotten myself into?
