jungkook's pov

"alex I dont know what else I can give you, I have given you access to everything. its been three days now and my kids are starting to ask questions" I said to detective alex who was running this case.

"I get it jungkook. but before we actual arrest them we need evidence. the camera's in your husbands office were hacked by a system none of us knew existed. we have our best guys on it, I am sorry but it is a risk you going to see your family, we dont know if angela and rai can track you or see you. staying at your office with your bodyguards is the best thing for you" alex explained.

I knew he was right, it just sucked. I just wanted to be with my family again.

"alex, dont get me wrong. I respect you but if I find out my partner is going into labour I will be going straight towards him" I explained, he nodded his head understanding. just as he was about to say something someone walked into the room, holding an ipad.

"detective alex, we have two guys following rai and angela around. we have pictures of them from weeks before of them both in the area of taehyung and jungkook's company building, then we have two pictures of them on their street"

"angela babysat for them, remember" alex said

"true. but this is in a broadband van and they both were wearing suits. this is definitely good enough proof" the guy said, showing alex this photo's who hummed as he scrolled through them.

"perfect, print those off. we just need to get rai's fingerprints from the house and then we have them." alex said, patting my back before he quickly rushed out the room. I sighed and decided to head back to work, yoongi has been doing really well with taking over the company for me for a few days.

I asked yoongi the other day if he would be okay with me taking time off when taehyung goes into labour, so I can be there for the first couple weeks. yoongi did not even hesitate before saying yes, which made me really happy.

it gave me so much to look forward to. taehyung has been spending a lot of his time sending me links to real estate. i liked a lot of the houses he sent me, they fitted everything we needed. we both decided that we will buy one soon and get all our stuff moved from our old house.

both taehyung and I dont feel comfortable going back to the previous house, we need more security. especially since we are going to have a new born in the house soon. we both decided that we will stay at the holiday house until we find somewhere we like.

the holiday house is not crazy far from everything we need and our jobs. its perfect for the time being. I have already hired trustworthy people to start slowly packing everything into boxes until we can find a house.

when I walked into the company building I went straight to yoongi's office. I smiled when I saw jimin was here as well, I immediately asked him how everything was going at taehyung's company.

"really good, definitely getting the hang of things. I call taehyung when I am stuck, I think he is not doing well to be honest" jimin mentioned which made me frown.

"really? every time I talk to him he seems okay?" I said, I noticed how jimin froze a little and it seemed as if he was trying to figure out what to say.

"I dont know, I could be wrong but I was just saying that he seemed a little off. all I know for certain is that he really misses you" jimin said, I nodded and sighed. I miss him as well, I dont like being away from him or our kids.

it makes it even harder with him being pregnant. knowing he is not there with him.

"I am just waiting for alex's text to let me know I can go see him" I replied.

"what does the text mean?" yoongi questioned

"it means they have rai and angela in custody" they both nodded their heads and my mind drifted off to somewhere completely different.

I really hope I can go to them today, when I walk into the house and stuff has been packed and no one is there it does make me feel sad. I feel like I am putting the people I love in danger and that is the last thing I want. It is my job to protect my children and my other half. I feel hopeless when I cant do so.

"you okay kook?" jimin asked as I snapped from my day dreaming. I nodded my head and sighed.

"I will just go back to the house for a little, call me if you guys need help with anything" I said before getting up to leave.
