"I can't believe she is starting high school tomorrow", taehyung commented as his head was against his husband's chest, playing with his hair.

"yeah, I know, it is crazy", jungkook whispered.

the two were lying on their bed at 6 in the morning, they were meant to be getting ready for work, but they could not be bothered. they decided that they would just run in late when they woke up. "when we are the bosses, we get to decide when we start work", jungkook had commented earlier this morning.

they spent the next two hours lying in bed, jungkook playing with taehyung's hair as they talked. "we need a nanny, tae", jungkook commented.

"I know. I just get worried about the kid's safety. have you heard all the horror stories about nannies" taehyung replied. 

"I know", jungkook sighed. "but we need to get the kids a nanny. you know this"
with a groan, he looked at jungkook and nodded his head a little "what's the next step?"

"If it makes you feel a little more at ease, you can go through the forms and pick someone?" taehyung nodded.

"do you want me to go over who I picked with you or?" he questioned

"I trust you babe" jungkook pecked his cheek. "we better get ready", he groaned while he slid out of bed. the younger male watched his husband raise his arms in the air as he stretched.

taehyung could stare at his husband all day. there were times when he got caught staring. he used to get embarrassed, but now it's all different.

"like what you see?" jungkook smirked

"for sure", taehyung winked, causing jungkook to chuckle as he put on a clean work shirt. "Is euni looking after the kids today?" taehyung questioned.

"jin is dropping off the kids on his way to work, which is amazing", jungkook replied.

"I am going to take euni out tonight. Is that okay?" taehyung asked while slipping on some clean pants.

"of course", jungkook replied, pecking the male's lips before walking out the room to start getting the children up.

he reached yeona's room and opened the door slightly to see her lying on the bed, staring up at the wall. "morning, sweetheart, ready to get up and ready for school?" jungkook said

"yeah, I feel hungry", yeona replied, shuffling up to sit up. "I will make some pancakes quickly. do you wanna try to wake up your brothers?" jungkook asked.

"okay," she said, rushing out of bed, past her dad and straight into her brother's rooms. jungkook chuckled and walked down the hallway and the stairs. "there goes the third one", he heard his husband say from the kitchen.

"mmh, I smell pancakes", jungkook called out as he stepped into the kitchen to see his lover flipping a pancake onto the plate filled with them.

"I just talked to yeona about making pancakes for breakfast, and your already way ahead of me", jungkook chuckled, stepping closer to taehyung, who smiled.

"when do they not want pancakes" taehyung whispered when he felt arms wrap around him and jungkook's head placed on his shoulder. "you smell nice," taehyung said. "that is most likely the pancakes", jungkook replied.

"we should go on a vacation", jungkook blurted

"with four kids?" taehyung laughed

"just us two", jungkook whispered.

"I would so love that. I think I would have separation anxiety being away from the kids, though," taehyung said

jungkook slowly pulled away when he heard the kids giggling and running around the living room. "kids, breakfast!" he yelled and smiled when he heard tiny feet hitting the ground, the noise becoming louder as they reached the kitchen.

jungkook and taehyung quickly made sure all the kids had plates and heaps of pancakes. "hwan, baby, eat this please, no wasting food", taehyung hummed as he placed the plate next to hwan.

hwan nodded and started eating. jungkook sat next to yeona while he stared at taehyung, seated between hwan and euni. he looked beautiful. he found himself staring at taehyung all the time.

"I'M HERE"

snapping out of his thoughts, he turned his head towards the kitchen entrance to see jin walking in with keys in his hands. "everyone ready to go?" jin asked, smiling when the kids got excited to see him.

"hwan, one more bite, please," taehyung asked, smiling when hwan ran back towards him, lips parted as taehyung fed him some cut-up pancakes. "good boy", taehyung replied and started to clean up.

"okay, let us go", he heard jin say

"thanks, jin", taehyung replied

"see you at work", jin replied and walked out the door with the kids.

"I will clean up, love. You go get ready for work," jungkook said

taehyung nodded and quickly headed upstairs. he had a quick shower, got changed and made sure the bed was made before walking to euni's room. "I'm off to work, honey. Is everything okay?" taehyung questioned as he stepped into his daughter's room.

eunice was sitting by her window, staring off into nature. she wiped her eyes and turned to taehyung, who frowned when he realised she was crying.

"what is wrong?!" taehyung asked, placing his work bag down and sitting in front of her. "I don't k-know, I am just feeling anxious a-about tomorrow," euni said, wiping her tears. taehyung hummed, "I want you to know that what your feeling is validated and that it is normal to feel nervous, especially with a situation like this"

"going into an environment you are not used to is scary, and going somewhere where you don't know people and the environment is not familiar can be a lot."

"but I remembered your dad was saying that you left him immediately to play with the other kids when you started kindy. you got along with them all even though you would sometimes shy away."

"your kindy teachers loved you. you were most of their favourites," taehyung chuckled while brushing a tear away from her cheek.

"I know it will be scary. going to high school is scary- I just want you to give it a go."

"go there tomorrow and be yourself. If you don't like it, then we can go from there," taehyung said

"does that sound good?" taehyung questioned, smiling when euni nodded, giving him a bright smile.

"that's my girl," taehyung said, smiling when euni hugged him.
