"duri is so big now" taehyung gasped. both him and jimin were outside out the back laying on the sun beds. they both watched as hwan, hanuel, duri and yeona all played on the playground. jungkook and yoongi were by the bbq.

euni was inside her room doing homework, even though taehyung is sure she is just watching tv.

"they all get along so well" jimin whispered, watching as their children played together.

"would you want another one?" taehyung asked the other who shrugged.

"yoongi and I talked about it but we just cant afford to have another one" jimin whispered, taehyung frowned looking at jimin.

"what about the cafe you and yoongi had two years ago? I thought that was going well?"

"it was for the first few years but after the pandemic, everything changed. people were scared to go out and eat, we had to close down our cafe for a long time and when we were on the end up breaking we decided to do delivery"

"we were so busy, had to hire a nanny for duri. yoongi and I were getting no time together, it was stressful. the cafe is doing okay now, I have to work over time though. this is the first break we have had in a long time" jimin sighed, taehyung felt his heart clench.

"why did you not tell me, I could of looked after duri. euni is great with the kids, she could have as well. jungkook and I could of helped" taehyung mentioned

"you both were busy, euni was still quite young. we could not ask for help, a lot of people were struggling. we will get through it, it may just take us some time to get back on our feet" jimin whispered, giving taehyung a reassuring smile.

"how is that new nanny of yours?" jimin questioned, wanting to change the subject quick.

"jungkook and her know each other" taehyung rolled his eyes, jimin gasped and slapped the brunette's arm.

"shut the fuck up! I knew it, I thought I heard a few rumours flying. I did not believe it though. so they dated in highschool?" jimin whispered, so intrigued with this tea.

"I know I nearly told her to get out the house when I found out. she was so nice when I first met her but afterwards as soon as she saw jungkook she like completely changed"

"what how?"

"she started to ignore me and only ask jungkook questions. she had a question about yeona and went to his office to ask him, like she could of texted me or jungkook but she had to see jungkook in person."

jimin chuckled and rolled his eyes.

"that is clearly obvious that she likes him" jimin said

"I know right! that is exactly what I was thinking. it took us ages to find a nanny, jungkook was relieved when I picked one I feel like it would of made me look childish if I decided to change my mind just cause I am insecure about it" taehyung mentioned

"well jungkook is head over heels for you, I promise you that. if she causes you problems let me know, do your trust her with your kids?" jimin questioned.

"hwan and haneul like anyone. euni does not need a babysitter she is quite mature for her age. its yeona that I am worried about. she sticks with euni whenever angela is around, I just hope all of this does not put yeona back"

"your a great dad taehyung. yeona struggled so much when it was just euni, her and jungkook. you helped her so much, the best thing you can do is make sure she feels like she can go to you if she needs anything" jimin reassured him. he knows how paranoid and protective he gets over yeona.

there was a part of him that saw himself in yeona. the anxiety, overthinking. he started to wonder if she could have adhd.

"do you think yeona could have adhd?" taehyung asked jimin, whos eyes were now on yeona.

"its a possibility, you could always get her tested? even if she does not. it will rule out something"

taehyung hummed. it was not a bad idea.

"lunch is ready!" jungkook called out from the kitchen.

"okay kids, inside we go" taehyung called out, watching as the children squealed and headed inside.

"you know if angela ends up causing problems you have every right to fire her. its not just about your and jungkook's relationship, its also about your children" jimin said, linking his arms with taehyung's as they walked into the kitchen.
