part two - xxxviii.
Mat
When the guards brought in the Alpha of the second pack brought in I had been checking my phone. They locked him to the table and he growled at them, eyes burning sapphire-amber. He was a big wolf, standing about 6'8 with broad shoulders and very husky. When they left us alone we both glared at each other. "Henrik, isn't it?" I questioned. "You're Alpha to the pack that was brought from Louisiana."
"You're gonna die." he threatened me. "You made a very big mistake by doing all of this."
"You're not the first who told me that. You don't scare me." I said. "I know you males are pretty much close to impossible to reason to. You won't listen to me at all so I feel like it's gonna waste my time. You'll spend the rest of your life in that cell."
He laughed, "You won't be keeping me in here. I'll rip your throat out if you tried."
I sighed heavily, "Alpha Henrik, we're Alpha's. We should both discuss this for the best of your pack."
He pulled at the cuffs, "This is your way of discussing. And you wouldn't know what best for my pack, only I do." he coldly said. He growled, "Maybe we should discuss the way you run your pack. Or all of you tame Alpha packs. You all damned your soul."
"Have you ever thought killing humans were wrong. You can get caught doing that shit." I said to him.
He grinned, "We don't leave any trace of human remains. We don't throw away scrapes, we eat everything. Have you ever had human meat, Alpha Matilda? It's tender, it's better than beef."
"I'll stick to my regular diet." I said as I held my finger out towards him. "But that diet for you is over now."
"Who are you to tell me what I can eat?" he questioned. He pulled at the cuffs, his wrist turning red with marks.
"That isn't gonna work, you're only hurting yourself more." I said, shaking my head as I looked down at the notepad. "You have children, two boys. You'll never be able to see them again."
He growled deeply, "You'll be taking me to them actually." he said. The table moved and I quickly sat up straight up as I heard the chains being ripped apart. I quickly stood up as he broke the chains from the table. I took in a sharp breath as he stood up and he broke the cuffs around his ankles apart.
Okay, so maybe I should have underestimated this guys—
I growled at him, my eyes turning as I felt his threat. He laughed, "Seriously? You're tiny." he said. He looked annoyed now, grabbing the table and threw it away so there was nothing between us now. We heard the guards on the other side, swiping their card. Henrik lunged at me and his weight pulled me down to the ground. He forced me around, my chest pressed against the ground as his arm went around my throat and he squeezed. My eyes widen as the air was blocked.
"Let her go!" one of the guards yelled.
Henrik growled, lifting us up from the floor and I had to stand on my tip toes on his feet or else I would have been just hanging there with his arm wrapped around my throat. I wheezed, whimpering needingair. "Throw one of them over here!" Henrik yelled and the guards looked at me. I nodded and they lowered the guns, throwing them over towards us. Henrik pulled us down, picking up the gun, "Good, now unload the other." he said. The guard quickly unloaded his gun, dropping the gun to the floor. Henrik loosen his grip on me and I quickly sucked in some beautiful air.
"What now?" I questioned coldly. "You kill me and you won't be able to make it out of this prison alive. You may be a big ass wolf but you're not indestructible."
He snorted, "Which is why you're coming with me. Youdonemess with the wrong wolf, female alpha."
His arm slid up around my throat, grabbing onto it roughly and I breathed in heavily. He held me against him, "Now, before we leave lets go get my pack."
He pushed me forwards and he held his gun out towards the guards as we walked out. We walked out into the hallway and Henrik threatened to kill me to the guards if they didn't let us through. "You won't be getting away with this." I coldly said.
He chuckled, "As long as I have you, I'll be fine."
We went into the prison cell where the wild rogue wolves were. He took my card from my pocket and opened the door. His wolves rushed out quickly, growling and taunting me. I growled back, feeling all the threats. We came near Aydin door and I breathed out heavily. Henrik noticed and he opened the door for Aydin even though he didn't know him. Aydin at first looked surprised until a big grin appeared on his face, "Henrik, old friend. How are you?"
"No!" I yelled out in frustration as Henrik grabbed Aydin chained and broke them.
*
I growled as Henrik pushed me out of the van that he made one of my wolves drive us out in the woods. He aimed the gun at the Kev and I grabbed his wrist, growling at him, "Don't you dare, he's my pack member."
Grinning, he pulled the trigger and the bullet Kev arm. He cried out in pain, holding onto his arm. Henrik held firmly onto my throat and made me walk out into the woods and we kept going for a couple of miles.
Aydin grabbed Henrik shoulder, "Thank you, my friend but I think I should head a different way. I need to go find my pack, before they to end up there."
"I understand." Henrik said.
Aydin nodded before looking at me grinning, "Alpha Mat, I can say this is really the perfect way for us to last see each other. I hope to never see you in this or the next life ever again."
I growled at him, "Go to hell, Aydin."
He chuckled as he stepped back, "Goodbye forever." he said before shifting and ran away.
Henrik pushed me down onto the ground and I grunted since my elbow hit a rock. Sitting on my knees as I got up, I grabbed my elbows. I heard the gun Henrik holding click along with a loud cracking noise. The bullet pierced my thigh and I could feel it going through my thigh. Crying out in burning agonizing pain, I fell on my side as I grabbed onto my left right. Henrik grabbed a long stick from the ground and he grabbed my legs. I grabbed his hands, crying out in pain but he stabbed the stick into my thigh where the bullet wound was so it wouldn't close. Crying out in pain, tears stung in my eyes with pain. "I still need you." he coldly said.
*
I breathed heavily as I touched my thigh there was a fucking stick sticking threw. My thigh was completely numb, my blue jeans darken from it being soaked with blood. The smell was also terrible. Dry blood was never good. I tried pulling the stick but the pain only returned with a burning sensation. My leg wouldn't unless the stick removed, which I understand why Henrik did it now.
Henrik walked over, "We've been running for awhile. Seems like we were able to mask our scent."
I growled, "Oh trust me, they'll find us. Us tame wolves just think before acting and carefully track scents. My husband and father is so gonna rip your head off."
He brought his foot up, kicking my chest roughly to make me fall on my back. The air was knocked out of me, making my breath in roughly. "Look how weak you're getting. I wonder what'll happen if I just pull this stick out. How long it would take until you just bleed out? Even if this wound does heal fast in time, it's infected and you'll only end up sick."
Breathing heavily as I propped myself up on my elbow, "Fuck you—no! No! No!" I yelled when he reached down grabbing the stick. He tugged it, moving it around and I cried out in pain. "Bastard! Ah!"
Aeriela
Clyde car rushed up to Mat house quickly and we all got out quickly. I ran as fast as I could over to the house and up the porch. Rushing inside, I saw everyone inside arguing over what to do. Killian and Will were giving orders to the pack members on which way they should go. Clyde and Sofia rushed over, talking to them and they were all freaking out.
"Mat a strong girl, she'll know how to handle this situation." Sofia said but she still looked scared. "She's been in worse situations than this."
"He had a gun with him." Killian said coldly but I knew it was because he was worried. "And he's a giant compared to Mat! He stands more than over a foot taller than her. Mat is strong but not that strong. All he had to do was wrap his hand around her throat and squeeze!"
Will grabbed Killian, "Hey, hey stop this. Your overthinking this, she's still alive."
Killian threw his arms back as his face turned to anger, "Wild rogues don't just keep you alive. If he knew how to use that gun, he could have killed Kev. But I doubt he needed thatfor Mat. We shouldn't just be standing here!" he growled as he pushed past them and left the house.
"Let him go." Clyde said to Will who started to go near the door. "We gotta finish the plan and soon. Each group as a walkie talkie, when we find them we just call each other to inform where we are. Come on everyone, we're heading out." he said, grabbing a walkie talkie from the coffee table. I saw Ulric across the room but he started to leave with Devin and a man name Matthew.
I hurried over towards Ulric, grabbing his arm and pulled him away, "I need to talk to you real quickly."
Devin scoffed, "Aeriela, we need to go—"
"Just a moment, I promise." I said, looking at them both. Ulric stared down at me for a moment before sighing and looked at Devin who looked annoyed but nodded. Him and Mat walked out onto the porch and Ulric turned to me. "Let me come with you. I can climb on your back and run with you."
He laughed humorlessly, "Excuse me? No way, it could be dangerous if we have to actually fight them."
"It's Mat, Ulric!" I argued with him. "She's my sister, I need to help somehow."
"How about staying safe. You know how pissed she'll be if she saw you came? Maybe if you shifted, she'll be cool with it but you aren't that strong yet. We're gonna bring her back, I promise Aeriela." he said. "They gathered this pack up before, we'll do it again easily."
He turned to leave but I grabbed his hand, "Ulric, please." I begged him, staring up into this blue eyes.
"Devin won't let you go with us anyways." he said and I breathed out in defeat as I lowered my head since I knew he was right. He took his hand out of mine and tilt my head back up as his palm rested on my cheek, "Hey, she's gonna be fine. You should wait here until she comes back. Just relax."
Devin opened the door and we looked at the door, "Ulric, wrap it up."
Ulric nodded before looking at me and moved his warm hand, "She'll be home soon, Aeriela. We're gonna bring her back."
All the wolves left the ranch and there was howling in the night. I stared out the window, biting my nails nervously as I prayed for Mat to be alright. She been dragged out of the hospital by that wolf who is pretty damn scary to just me.
