part two - xxix.

I grabbed the bag of chips and munched on them as I typed back Alpha Kover of New Mexico to thank him for joining me next Monday. I had step up the meeting to be held by the Honeysea Beach in Jenkins that's about an hour run.

I got up from the chair and went downstairs. Killian and Tamaz was outside messing around in the yard in wolf skin. I grabbed some juice from the fridge and some pretty unhealthly snacks. I started munching down on cakes and chips. I have such a sweet and salt tooth.

Soon both of the man came back inside laughing, both drenched in sweat from their wrestling around.

"I would not take you as a fighter, Killian." Tamaz said, chuckling. "I take you as a book reader with glasses. But you clearly proved me wrong."

"Well with your muscles you don't give off thw book reader type." Killian said. "But thanks, growing up with four brothers we all like to teach other things."

Tamaz sighed, "Oh brothers. He's eleven years younger than me and he didn't really have his father around so I had to be that father for him. Anything I ever do for him, is because I know he's to stupid to learn on his own."

I chuckled, "I know that feeling. When my parents were taken Aeriela had just been taken in so I had to look after her. Trust me, not easy at all. It was like teaching a baby things but in a fifteen year old body."

Killian grabbed two water bottles from the fridge, "And trying to help a immature seventeen year old boy like my cousin Ulric. He's now just starting to realize life isn't easy alone." he said as he handed Tamaz a water.

"God we're getting old." I said, making them nod. "Well speaking of family, my brother should be returning soon from his fun. I'll go meet him at the guest house. Thank you, Alpha Matilda for the ticket to Aeriela dance. Zakaria is excited."

"Hmm, just make sure he knows not to get to close to Aeriela. She doesn't need boys problems right now." I said before stuffing my mouth with a donut. I grabbed my chips and started to leave the kitchen, "Killian, lets order tonight. Hot wings sound so good tonight."

Aeriela

When I got home, Sofia had ran into the living room with a big grin on her face. I arched an eyebrow, finding grin kind of weird. I looked at Emily who just shrugged, looking confused like me. "What?" I asked as I looked back at Sofia.

"When were you gonna tell me you had a date to prom?" she asked. My face heated up as Emily gasped as she turned to look at me and grabbed my upper arm.

"How'd you know that?" I asked her.

She snorted, "You think Mat wouldn't tell me? Were you just gonna wait until the last minute to tell me? Oh this is to exciting!"

I walked passed her, "Jeez, no it's not. Prom is this saturday, five days away. I don't have any time to prepare." I said as I sat down on the couch.

"We're girls, we can make anything?" she said.

"Who is he?" Emily asked excitedly. "Oh! Please tell me it's that cute European wolf!" I brought my hand up behind my neck and scratched, "Ah Ellie! Why didn't you tell me!"

Sofia chuckled, "More prom shopping!"

"Crap." I breathed out.

*

Sofia always got excited when it came to bonding with us. She loved helping Mat do her wedding. She was excited to help Emily do her prom shopping and she was eager to make sure I was getting my things. It's because she said she never had a chance to do these things before and as a mother she's very happy.

"Sofia, prom this week. Their not gonna have much dresses left." I said as we walked in the mall to go to the dress shop. "Even, this is lame. I'll just wear the dress I wore to Mat wedding."

"No! You're getting something new." she said as she walked faster than the both of us. Emily chuckled as she linked our hours and I sighed heavily.

We came to the store that sold dresses. As I guessed, most of the good dresses were taken. I boredly walked around, skimming through dresses that didn't catch my interest.

After awhile I went over to Sofia, "There's nothing here. Can we go now?"

"Wait." she said, walking over towards the counter where a young woman was at it. I crossed my arms over my chest as I walked over, "Hi. I was wondering if there was any more dresses in the back?"

"Sofia, it's okay. We'll just check another store-"

"Actually," the lady said, bringing Sofia attention back. "We got some new arrivals for bridesmaids or it's pageant session soon. They're suppose to set out tomorrow but I can ask my manager if you can look at them."

"Perfect." Sofia said. "Thank you."

Sofia grinned down at me and I lowered my head, "

When the lady came back after asking, I cursed inside my head that we can. We went near the back where the lady brought four dresses out to show us that arrived.

"She'll try them all on." Sofia said, apparently really liking them all.

Emily helped me get the dresses on. The first one was a light blue rhinestoned dress. It was pretty, looked nice with my red hair but I didn't like it for me.

The second dress was a black thight dress with a halter top with diamonds all over the straps and slit near my right leg.

"Don't look so glum." Sofia said as she walked over. "You're growing such nice curves. Black always looks nice." She put her hand around my mouth and used her fingers to lift up a smile on my face. "It's prom, not death night. I never was able to go so you need to enjoy it. At least to pretend to enjoy it for my sakes."

I forced the smile to stay up as I went into the changing room with Emily. She unzipped the dress, "You know, it isn't such a bad thing. You look stunning in the dresses."

"It's not that." I said as I wiggled out the slim fit dress. "Zakaria doesn't even know me, I wish he wouldn't have put me in this situation."

"Ellie, what's so bad if he does like you? He probably believes he's doing such a nice thing for you. Let him do a nice thing." she said as she grabbed the gold and white dress. It sparkled with rhinestones and had a high neckline. What made the dress unique though is the top and skirt were apart so a bit of my stomach showed. The top was gold and the skirt was white with gold around the waistband. "People expect things after being nice or they screw you."

"Zakaria won't do that, I'm sure he won't. Even, doesn't he leave the next day? Just go to prom with him, have a good night, and live life after. You know deep down you want to go because it's-"

"Normal." I finished. It was true, I always thought prom was such a normal thing to do in high school. I wanted to go in the beginning, then shit started to happen again. "I should have just found a girl date."

She giggled, "That was one solution."

I stepped out of the changing room and Sofia eyes lit up. I turned to face the mirror and just stared at myself. I so badly wanted to hate the dress.

But I didn't, I loved the two piece so much that I wanted to wear it out of the store and rest of my life.

The lady walked over with a big smile on her face, "The gold makes her look more brighter. You have wonderful skin complication. And your eyes, look how the green matches the gold. Hmm, maybe a updo but only my suggestion. I personally don't think any other girl could really pull this off." she said.

Sofia and Emily smiled as they looked at me throw the mirror. I placed my hands on my bare waist before touching the soft fabric. I really liked the dress and the more I wore it the more it sorta made me excited about prom.

"How much?" Sofia asked.

The lady look slightly nervous as she smiled, "Three hundred and seventy five dollars."

Okay, so the dress shop wasn't the most expensive shop. It was mostly for normal working class families. An almost four hundred dollar dress is just outrageous! Emily was only a hundred and fifty, a beautiful baby pink lace dress.

All three of us were suprised at the cost, "Oh wow." Sofia said.

"Well it is our newest arrivals and there was only seven of these dresses made actually. Trust me, it'll be worth the money." she said.

I turned to Sofia, "Don't worry about it, there's other dresses and stores we can check."

Sofia bit her bottom lip for a moment before looking at the lady dead in the eyes, "Take my card before I chicken out. Now." she said, reaching into her pocket and pulled out her card.

I went over towards her, "Sofia, don't. It's too expensive."

The lady took the card and walked over towards the counter. Sofia smiled at me as she cupped my face, "This is what makes a parent happy. To see her child eyes sparkle up." she said.

I frowned at her, "Sofia, the price is to much-"

She brought her pointer finger up, "Hush. I don't wanna hear it. We're getting this dress because you look crazy beautiful and I refuse to see any other dress on you."

Emily grinned, "Wrong dress if your hoping Zakaria doesn't fall in love."

I glared at her, "Oh stop it."

We checked out Claire's for some jewelry and then got some shoes. I had to admit, it did lighten up my spirit a little and made me sorta of excited.

We walked out of the store and walked near the food court. I felt some eyes on me so Is stupidly paused and turned to look at the group wolves who stared at me with their looks. Sofia grabbed my arm, bared her teeth at them as she growled, and pulled me away. So I learned what it was like to have a mother who protect hee pup.

We walked out of the mall and went to the cafe next door. Sofia smiled, "Luckily my mother had taught me a few things about sewing. I should be able to shorten the dress for you Ellie." she said.

"Hello ladies." we heard a familiar accent. We looked to right to see Alpha Tamaz and Zakria coming this way with a charming smile. He looked at my white sheet covered dress and bags, "Ah shopping, seems like we weren't the only ones to make a quick stop."

I made sure to aviod eye contact with Zakaria as Emily giggled and Sofia grinned, "Had to make sure this girl has everything she needs. Zakaria, I sure hope you could find something on shirt notice."

"It's not a tuxedo but I sure hope it is formal enough. I hear black goes witj everything so hopefully it goes well with Aeriela dress." he said smoothly, his accent coming out softly. It sure made his voice deeper and make any girl heart flutter.

No Aeriela! Bad girl. If only I could slap myself without looking insane.

"Her dress is gold, I'm very sure it well." Sofia said. "Thank you Zakaria for asking Ellie to prom."

I glared at Sofia and she shrugged. Zakaria chuckled, "My pleasure. I have never visited the states before, this well be a very food memory for me. I am much curious to know how Americans dances are."

Alpha Tamaz smiled, "We should set a time for them to meet up."

"Sounds good. We we're gonna get Emily pictures done at Rosewater Park, it's just outside of town with a beautiful garden setting. Matilda knows where it is." Sofia said. "Ellie, anything you wanna say?" she asked but really in her own words talk to Zakaria.

I forced my head to look at him, "See you Saturday at five. No beard please, you look twenty-five." I sarcastically said.

Emily squeezed her eyes shut annoyed and Sofia glared at me. Zakaria looked amused though, "Deal but only if." he said, reaching over and took a single rose from a basket and slipped in a dollar in the large jar for it. He held it out to me, "You accept this."

Emily looked like she could faint with awe eyes as I blushed heavily as I stared at the red rose that was fully bloom and big. I reached out and took the flower, "Thanks." I said, my voice low with shyness.

-short lame chapter but next one will be longer. :)
