Sofia came over with my lace veil and placed in neatly in my hair. It stopped just a inch below my waist. I smiled at her through the mirror, my face heating up as I got nervous a little but not because I was scared. Okay, I was a little scared but it wasn't the kind of scared that made me wanna leave. Just having over a hundred people watching me get married.

She smiled at me as she placed her hands on my shoulder from behind, "I think you're gonna be the most beautiful bride this year yet."

Killian mother Sara walked over smiling, "Beautiful January bride." she said. "Today was a good day for a wedding thanks to the fresh snow that came last night." She brought the Chinese blue and gold hair pin up to my hair and stuck it in. It went across my hair by two inches with beautiful blue flowers with gold wines.

I grinned, "I'm still amazed we agreed on a winter wedding but I wouldn't want my wedding to be around the same time as many others like in the spring." I said. She grinned back and wink at me. I looked back at the mirror and almost wanted to cry because tomboy me was wearing such a beautiful dress. It was similar to the one I had tried on when I went dress shopping with Melinda. It was an off the shoulders dress with lace sleeves but the sleeves on this dress went all the way down to my wrist and the skirt was a little bigger. I was completely in love with my dress.

My bridesmaid-Aeriela, Melinda, Emily, and Blue-came in dressed and ready in their beautiful long bridesmaid dresses. Clyde soon followed behind them dressed nicely in his tuxedo and he looked surprised to see t-shirt and old jeans daughter in a wedding dress all dolled up.

A big grinned appeared on his face as he brought his hand up to his face to cover it as he chuckled and I giggled as I lowered my head blushing. He walked over towards me and hugged me, "I know I missed so many special things in your life but I'm so glad I didn't have to miss this." he told me.

I nodded as pulled apart and took both of my parents hands, "I agree-the both of you. I'm glad your both here. I didn't think I would ever get married and have you guys here but here we are. I'm so happy to finally my family with you both and Devin." I said, grinning at Aeriela. "And our little fire wolf."

Aeriela smiled as she walked over and hugged me, "You look so amazingly beautiful, Mat." she said as she pulled away. Her hair-like the three others-was curled up in a thirties glamorous hair style. I smiled down at her but remembered after today she and Emily would be moving in with Clyde and Sofia in their home. They both wanted to give Killian and I some privacy since we will be newly weds.

Sara phone beeped and she reached into her purse, "Oh it's time!" she said excitedly, rushing my bridesmaid out of the large hotel room. "Come on now, it begins in less than ten minutes!"

Sofia looked annoyed at Sara since Sara was going mad crazy about this wedding but gave me a teasingly grin and I chuckled. Sofia left the room to follow the rushed bridesmaid, "You both also. Time for the show." she said before disappearing around the door.

Clyde looked down at me and held his hand out to me. I smiled and took put my hand in his.

Clyde put the veil over my face as we waited behind the large pair of doors of the hotel. I could see the hundreds of people sitting in their chairs watching my bridesmaid walk down the isle with their groomsmen-Killians four brothers who I finally got to met when I became Alpha of Oregon along with his two little sisters. The reception rooms was leading towards another door of the room. I wanted a pretty fancy hotel wedding since the Elora Hotel was the finest hotel in Oregon with it's vintage looking venues rooms.

I hadn't expected it to be this big. I also just want a small wedding but Sara just had to go all out and the invitations were already sent out so we couldn't stop it then. I just had to let it go since I had other things to worry about. Being Alpha and planning a wedding was hard work. I'm amazed I got any sleep last time.

"Ready?" Clyde asked, holding his arm out for me.

I straighten my back and took a deep breath, "Yes." I said, taking his hand in mine before the double doors open. A nervous Killian looked down at the isle at me and his whole face lit up. That made a big smile appear on my face as I chuckled. His reaction was a good one and it looked like he wanted to tear up in happiness. Seeing his reaction made tears come to mine but I stopped myself before I could cry.

I only remember what I was suppose to be doing when Clyde took a step forward and I followed him down the isle of watching guest. It seriously felt like the longest walk I ever did but it felt like a relief when I finally made it over to Killian.

Killian stepped over and Clyde held my hand out towards him. Killian thanked Clyde and Clyde kissed my cheek before he sat down next to Sofia. Killian and I stepped into place, taking both of each other hands.

So far, so good.

Killian and I was having our first dance. It felt slightly hard to dance in how high the heels Sara got for me but I haven't tripped yet so far.

I'm officially now Matilda Nicole Vaughn-Arkwright.

I love it.

I placed my head Killian chest as we danced to the slow song since it felt so perfect. . .maybe to perfect. I didn't think anything other of it since that's what I hoped for. I wanted this day to go smooth and I'm so happy it is. After the dance the party went on as normal and I was so happy.

I was actually truly-finally-happy with my life. I got my family, Killian, and my pack.

Aeriela

I went over towards Luna and touched her arm to get her attention. When she looked at me I spoke over the loud music, "You seen Ulric? I haven't seen him since after the ceremony."

She bit her lower lip, "I don't know, I saw him and Rascal sneaking some beer. Stupid boys, they know they can get in trouble if they get caught."

I rolled my eyes, "When aren't they ever not taking risk?"

I walked behind her and found Emily over near Clyde and Sofia. I walked over towards her, "Have you seen Ulric?" I asked her. Emily-a human girl-a girl I was the same age as who knew about wolves. At first I didn't like her because she was human but Mat seemed to care about her allot and she knew about wolves. It made it easy to live with her and soon become my best friend. I still don't like humans but Emily was an exception.

"Uh yeah, I saw them go out by the garden." she said, pointing out the large door leading to a indoor garden. I nodded before quickly going over towards the garden to look for Ulric since he's been acting so strange. He has been acting so weird since we moved here to Oregon. It got worse when he couldn't try out for Marchand Phoenix High School football team.

When I was about to walk out into the garden Rascal appeared and I was taken back, "Rascal, there you are. Have you seen Ulric?"

He put his hands in his pockets as he shrugged, "Nope, sorry." he said, his voice smelling like beer and my eyebrows furrowed together since I knew he was lying. Rascal and Ulric were best friends, they're always together and something about his tone didn't make me believe him also.

"What?" I questioned, arching my right eyebrow but he just shrugged. I grabbed him by his button shoulder and pulled him down towards me as I growled, "What is it Rascal?"

He breathed out looking guilty as ever, "I didn't mean to say it, it came out wrong and he took it the wrong way. We're both drunk Aeriela!"

Knowing this wasn't good I slammed him against the wall, "What did you say?"

He scoffed, quiet for a moment debating if he should tell me and I pressed my nails into his skin, "Ah-look like I said he took it wrong. I just said how crazy these weddings are but that I'm sure it'll me yours and his time soon. I jokingly said maybe you should live a little before your life over from marriage. I didn't mean it, Aeriela!"

Having this bad feeling in my stomach I let go of him and quickly went into the garden. I looked around large garden plants and statues until I came around one to see Ulric by the small built in waterfall with a girl I didn't know and that quickly made my heart miss a beat. He was making out with her until I appeared and they quickly pulled apart.

Ulric eyes widen like a surprise deer, "Oh shit." he whispered, quickly coming near me but I turned the other way as tears went down my face. "Aeriela!"

I quickly ran as hot tears went down my face and out of the indoor garden. Confusion filled my brain along with pain and betrayal in my heart that felt like it could soon stop beating as it breaks with how fast it was racing. I ran out of watch of the wedding so I would ruin Mat's perfect door and out of the ballroom.

I was grabbed by my wrist and Ulric pulled me back to face him with guilt written all over his face, "Aeriela I'm sorry." he said, his breath smelling of beer with sweat.

I pulled away from him with a cry and slapped him across the face, "I hate you! I hate you Ulric Arkwright, I wish I never met you or you came here."

I started to turn again but grabbed me and pulled me away from the doors. He pushed me against the wall, "I'm sorry, it didn't mean anything! Rascal was saying some stuff about my life being over and I should do things to make the time I have fun and get it all out of my systems of things I want to do. I didn't mean to hurt you."

I scoffed as angry boiled inside of me but tears still went down my face because I really couldn't stop them, "So you were planning going behind my back? Oh thanks for thinking of me." I sarcastically said. "I always knew you were trouble Ulric but I thought I could trust you! Believe you were different."

"You still can, Aeriela. It's not like she meant anything, I was just kissing her!" he said. He put his hands on my waist, pulling me close towards him, "It's you who I love." he said, shocking me since he never said that to me before.

I scoffed, pushing him away and slapped him again, "How dare you say that to me when you were just kissing another girl! God knows what could have happen if I didn't show up when I did."

He ran his fingers across his hair, "I'm sorry! Look you don't know what it's like for me. I'm scared of commitment but I was trying my best for you. I changed and done things to make you happy! I just wanted a little some of my old life before one day it comes for me and you have to settle down."

I glared at him, "Well here let me help you with getting your old life back! It's over!" I yelled at him, making his eyes widen. "I'm not gonna waste any more of my life with you. Have your old life back, Ulric. You don't need to worry anymore, I'm done." I said before walking away quickly. He didn't stop me, didn't fight for me which I wasn't sure if I was happy or sad about. Tears stung my eyes but I refuse to let them go as I went over to the elevator and pressed the button. It soon opened and went in, pressing the fifth floor button. I pressed my back against the wall, covering my face as I finally broke.
