Duskpaw's gaze flitted back to his sister when he heard a wet cough and saw the water that spewed out of her mouth gracelessly. A puddle formed beside Dawnpaw's muzzle as her lungs expelled the water, she looked around in
slight panic as she saw the unfamiliar Castiel.

Castiel just grinned oddly and tilted his head awkwardly, Duskpaw thinks he was just trying to disappear at this point. Duskpaw honestly wouldn't mind disappearing as well.

Dawnpaw sat up weakly and glared at Castiel whilst trying to drag herself in front of Duskpaw. Duskpaw just stood up and sat next to her, hoping she would take the hint and lean on him.

"Dawnpaw," Ashpaw nodded to Dawnpaw, "Castiel" Ashpaw nodded or said cat. "Castiel, Dawnpaw, everyone introduced? Alright then let's figure out a way to get home and out of the rain" Ashpaw finished, looking unnecessarily grumpy.

Duskpaw looked up and realized he stopped acknowledging the rain after they had gone over the cliff. How in StarClan did they even survive that? Why did they survive that? Don't go there, Duskpaw.

Duskpaw looked over to where Okai had lay down, the large cat was looking at him with some sort of emotion he didn't really want to name. Empathy, Duskpaw, I can hear what you think too, careful what you think, it's in my mind too. Don't go there and it'll be alright, okay?

"Okai get out of my mind" Duskpaw whispered angrily.

Okai had the decency not to scoff which says a lot about him since all Duskpaw had seen so far has been pure passive-aggressive quips.

Duskpaw looked away from Okai and saw the others staring at him weirdly, what is up with that? It's not like he's talking to himself- oh, well then, whatever.

"What's the plan now?" Ashpaw asked seriously.

"I think I have one" Castiel grinned.
