5 MINUTES LATER...

''So...what do you guys think?'' Triple H asked, looking back and forth between the three of us.

Seth, Roman and I all looked at each other, then back at him...

''I think it totally rocks Hunter!'' Seth grinned.

''Badass!'' Roman smiled.

''Dean?'' Triple H asked,

Dean?

You're in your prime now Johnny Boy!

''I love it!'' I told him.

It had been exactly one year since I'd given that crazy shoot promo in Triple H's office that day, and I can honestly say my life has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride ever since!

Shortly after he had made those phone calls, I was set up in a nice little en-suite just above the performance centre. Triple H, or Hunter as he wishes to be called off camera, had set up a couple of apartment rooms above the centre in case he, or some of the other personnel ever needed to work late or overnight, and he kindly said that one of the apartments was mine 'till I got myself back on my feet. I was eternally grateful to him, and in return I had worked day in and day out to achieve the talent, knowledge, and physique it took to becoming a WWE Superstar.

Along the way, I had also met my future brothers of 'The Shield'. That was the name Hunter had given us for the trio he had in mind...and boy what a trio we was too!

I know it's weird to say, but I kinda felt like I'd known them all my life. They were such cool guy's to hang with, and we immediately got on like a house on fire. Our group was solid and tight, and we each had our own fraction of the pie to contribute to our trio. I was proud to say that I was the funny quick-witted one, while Seth was the cool athletic one, and Roman was the sexy one - he hated being called that, but me and Seth would always tease him 'cause girls followed him literally everywhere he went. Hunter and I agreed to keep the name Dean Ambrose for my in ring character, ironically enough he said it had a nice ring to it.

I was loving absolutely everything about the business so far, but none more so than the bond I had with my Shield brothers who I loved as if they were my own flesh and blood. And tonight, right here in Green Bay Wisconsin, was the night we were going to finally debut our group on the main stage.

The plan was to have us invade Monday Night RAW, and tear up the place like no one's ever seen before! We were to exact our kind of justice on those who sinned, and bury all those who got our way.

And you know what the beauty of it all was? No one knew we were coming! Not creative, not personnel, not even the other wrestlers. Hunter had kept our presence a secret from everyone, even his own wife Stephanie. He would have us train and prepare at separate locations to the rest of the talent, until he was ready to unleash us upon the WWE Universe as his own secret weapon.

We had just snuck in through the secret back door of the Resch Center down here in Greenbay, and was quickly filing into the mirrored lift where we would wait 'till it was near time to debut...

I checked my reflection in all sides of the mirror, and smiled proudly as all the work I'd put in this past year had definitely paid off.

I still can't believe how much my body has changed

No kidding! Look at those muscles Johnny boy...we look hot!!

I chuckled at Deans comment, he always managed to make me laugh no matter what.

''Hey what you smirking at man? It's the hair isn't it?'' Seth moaned, shoving me to one side so he could look at himself in the mirror ''I knew this half blonde thing was gonna suck'' he kept moaning.

''Dude chill, I wasn't laughing at your hair, I was just smiling at far we've come...I'm proud of us.''

''I'm proud of us too man'' Roman smiled.

''Me three'' Seth said, although still playing round with his hair.

We had all bonded so well as brothers this past year, so I knew tonight was going to be pretty special for all of us.

''You guy's about ready to do this?'' I said, holding out my arm out for them to fist bump me, a silly thing we'd started doing whenever we met up for training, and I guess it kinda stuck.

''Oh hell yeah man!'' Roman grinned extending his fist out to mine.

''Dude I'm about ready to burn this place down!'' Seth said, bumping his fist to ours also.

''Hey, we should use this in our gimmick'' Roman grinned, looking at our fists together in the lift mirror.

''Hey your right'' I chuckled, noticing just how powerful it actually looked now that we were all dressed in our gear.

''Does look pretty awesome'' Seth agreed looking in the mirror at us all stood there.

I couldn't agree more man

Little did we know that that pose we always did together, would eventually become signature to one of the biggest factions in WWE history!

It was already 2 hours into the show, and we were gonna close it with a bang!

The crowd in the arena instantly started going wild and screaming when the lights went out.

Me and the boys were now all gathered under the stage of the ring just waiting for our que. The second our music hit we quickly crawled from under the stage curtain, and positioned ourselves on the side of the apron ready to fight, wearing our cool S.W.A.T team outfits with dog tags that Hunter had bought specially for us.

The lights in the arena suddenly came back on, and there we stood with our fists ready and game faces on, while everyone watched in fascination at the birth of The Shield.

To be honest I don't even think either of us knew what the hell we were really doing, but we knew it felt right.

We started the beat down on anyone we could get our hands on! I was like a crazed lunatic, beating, kicking, punching, even biting every opponent round me.

While Seth, the agile athlete he was, began jumping and bounding everywhere round the ring like he was springs. All that Crossfit training he'd been doing in the last couple of years was finally paying off for him too.

Last was our muscle man Roman, who was knocking down any and everything in sight like a freight train, until the only ones left standing were us.

The crowd was absolutely going wild right now! And I think it's safe to say that after that night, our trio The Shield would become a household name, because no one, and I mean no one in the WWE had made an impact quite like us!

A few minutes later after we'd all come backstage, I heard on the monitors the voice of Michael Cole finishing up the commentary for the show...

''Oh my GOD! Who were they? Those three men just came outta nowhere! RAW's been invaded ladies and gentlemen! And I am shocked, just like I'm sure most of the WWE Univer...wait, hold on a sec...'' he said, listening in on his era piece ''I'm getting something from backstage...uh huh...ok...well, I've just been informed that the men we saw tonight call themselves The Shield ladies and gentlemen, and according to my source they're here to run justice in the WWE. I imagine everyone backstage in the locker room area is on serious edge right now, because after what we just witnessed tonight, it's clear these guy's mean business! Well, thank you once again for joining us on another amazing episode of Monday Night Raw''

Aren't you worried man? I asked Dean later that night, as I lay wide awake just staring up at the ceiling in the hotel room me and the boys were sharing.

About what?

Well, we've kinda been hidden from view for an entire year now, and for the first time tonight our face has been seen by millions round the world!

So...? What's the problem?

I could tell he was grinning...Are you kidding me right now? At any moment Dean, the WWE could get a call from St. Augustine's asking....no demanding their patient back!

Sucks for them, cause your Dean Ambrose now

Gee thanks man, that gives me a lot of comfort right now

I mean it. They take you down, they take me down as too. But either way I'll always be there for you buddy.

I know, and I'm always grateful for that

I went to sleep that night feeling on top of the world! I had Dean, I had my freedom, and I was part of the best group WWE had seen for years!
