All I wanted when I walked through that gorilla was to see Paige.

I was pretty sure she'd be standing there watching the monitor's like everyone else in the back. The feud between The Shield and The Wyatt's had intensified big time tonight, and with the main event now set for the upcoming ppv 'Battleground' it was sure to cause a buzz in the backstage area.

As soon as me and the boy's walked through the gorilla, the biggest smile crept across my face.

There she was.

I looked over at the dark haired beauty standing tall in her silver heels, black leather pants, and tight fitting leather jacket. Did I mention I couldn't get her out of my mind?

You talking to me man?

''Oh my goooooddddd Deano, that promo was amazing!'' Paige yelled the second she saw me, and instantly ran over with the biggest smile on her face as she flung her arms round me.

I cheekily looked over at Roman and Seth, who were both grinning from ear to ear at me ''gotta go boys'' I winked, and they just laughed happily and bro slapped me on my back before heading off to the lockers.

I turned my attention back to Paige who was still holding me in her sweet embrace, and gently took her to a quiet corner out of sight of everyone ''I had fun last night...'' I smiled, looking down into her big brown eyes.

She playfully ruffled my fringe as she liked to do ''Me too handsome...'' she winked as we walked arm in arm down the corridor together. I watched as she gently took my injured hand in hers and began to examine it with concern. I was just about to thank her again for tending to me last night, when a voice behind me said...

''Thought you were pretty smart out there tonight didn't you Ambrose?'' and I turned to see Bray slowly making his way towards us ''I've never had to prove myself as a God, not to those people, and certainly not to you'' he snarled.

I gently pushed Paige behind me in case he tried anything like last night, all the while holding his gaze and watching his every move.

He just chuckled ''they'll follow because they want to follow Dean...and so will she!'' he said, instantly locking eyes on Paige.

''You leave her outta this Bray!'' I growled at him.

''Yeah!'' Paige said, folding her arms across her chest ''Whatever it is that you're trying to do, it won't wor...'' her voice suddenly trailed off, causing me to turn and look at her with worry. When I did, I could see she was suddenly stood next to me, arms at her side, blank expression, and just staring at Bray.

''How about I prove it NOW then...'' he chuckled, still holding Paige's gaze.

Oh no...!

''Paige? PAIGE!!'' I said, frantically waving my hand in front of her face, but she was completely unresponsive.

''WHAT DID YOU DO?!!'' I yelled at him ''Change her back!!''

But Bray just continued to hold her gaze, as if somehow trapping her against her will.

''Paige, listen to my voice, it's me...Dean'' I said in a panic ''...you have to snap out of it doll!''

Paige slowly turned toward me with that dead blank look in hey eyes... ''I only listen to Bray. He's a God. Where he goes I will follow. I will be his Sister Abigail''

Bray immediately began laughing at the horror he created''Aaaaahhhh ha ha ha...ha ha...she's perfect isn't she?'' he smiled proudly.

I just ignored his comments, as my mind was racing in a panic to get her back to normal again.

SMACK HER! That should do it!

Dude, I'm not gonna smack her alright!

But I did do the next best thing, and began shaking her shoulders in a desperate attempt to bring her back to normality.

''Paige please! You have to snap out of it doll, don't let him control you like that! You need to fight it!'' I pleaded.

Bray once again began laughing at me ''Don't you get it Dean? She's mine now, I own her'' he smiled nastily.

''Over my dead body!!'' I hissed, squinting my eyes at him in anger!

''If it comes to that...'' he smiled dangerously.

''Look, what do you want?'' I yelled in anger.

''What I've always wanted Dean...the world, and everything in it''

I had no choice but to watch now as Bray very calmly went and stood in front of Paige. He didn't say or doing anything, he didn't even touch her, he just stared into her eyes...

''Who are you?'' he whispered.

''I'm Abigail'' she replied.

''Who am I?'' he asked.

''You're Bray Wyatt, you're a God''

Bray smiled happily, then very slowly turned and pointed at me ''And who is he?''

''The enemy. A patient who escaped.''

My eyes widened at her comment!

''Good girl'' Bray smiled.

I stood staring at her wide-eyed, as if I too were transfixed. I knew that wasn't her mind speaking, but still, the words she said...I mean, how did she even know that? More importantly...how did he?

We may be in trouble buddy...

Yeah, no kidding!

Bray turned and looked at me with the most dangerous and deadly look he ever has...''Now who's the fraud?'' he smiled wickedly.

My entire body went cold, and I suddenly felt paralyzed. All I could do was look at him in anger.

He was right. But he forgot about one thing, and that's the fact that there was two of us. And if a fight was what he was looking for, well then Dean and I would give him one!

I looked back at Paige, who was still just standing there silently under Brays spell...

''Just change her back Bray...please'' I begged, because right now all that mattered was Paige's safety.

Bray smiled in satisfaction, then clapped his hands twice in Paige's face ''Wake wakey''

All of a sudden, Paige began gasping and coughing and looking round her all frightened. ''Dean!'' she said, wrapping her arms round me once more.

''My advice to you Lunatic, f you really love this girl that is, is to take her...take her and RUN! Because at Battleground, when you bring your family, you can be damn sure I'm gonna bring mine'' he said, smiling at Paige.

I once again balled my hand into a fist, ready to protect Paige at any cost.

Bray then leaned in a little closer, lowering his voice to a dark whisper ''...and when I'm done, making her my Sister Abigail Dean, I'm gonna get her on all fours and make her my little bitch too''

I made an immediate swing for him, but somehow Bray managed to bend backwards at top speed, landing on all fours like a crab, before quickly standing up again with his long straggly hair covering his face like a sadistic devil worshiper!

What the fuck was that??!!

I don't know man, but I don't like it!

''Oh my god!'' Paige cried in horror.

''Don't worry doll, he's just trying to scare you, that's all'' I said, easing Paige behind my once more.

Bray just laughed his usual laugh, and slowly walked away, leaving myself, and a very scared Paige to try and make sense out of all what was happening.

''Am I supposed to know what that was all about?'' she asked wide eyed.

''You mean, you don't recall anything that happened just now?''

''No...'' she said quietly ''I remember hugging you after the show, then the next thing I know, you and Bray were fighting again. So...what's going on Deano?''

''To be honest Doll, for your own safety, it's probably best you don't know'' I said.

I was kinda worried that if Bray knew Paige was aware of what was going on, that he may try and harm her just to silence her.

I made it my mission now to keep Paige safe at all times, and if that meant guarding her 24 hours, then I would do it.

I gently placed my arm round her, but could see she looked absolutely mortified still by Brays sinister actions. I can't lie, I was a little too, but everything he threw at me, I would make sure he got back tenfold at Battleground!

I was ready for him, and it was gonna be nothing short of a family massacre!
