Margot's POV

The drive was long because of the traffic, so we decided to start knowing us better.

Scarlett and Taylor were very nice and we soon became friends, having been through the same helped a lot.

Scarlett was an actress like me and Taylor was a singer.

While we were in the car she sang some of her songs and I have to say that they were amazing!

-I don't know if you want to talk about it but... What happened to you? Why did you end here?- Scarlett asked.

-I had a car accident, I fought with my boyfriend and I run away- I started -I was crossing the street and a car was going even if the streetlight was red-.

I didn't remember much of that day, doctors told me what happened and told me that the driver of that car died.

-A fan stalked me- Taylor said -He entered my house and threatened me keeping me prisoner for a month-.

-Oh my God- Scarlett said.

-He shot me when policemen were about to arrest him- Taylor told -One shot in the chest, one in the belly and one in the head-.

-Wow that is terrible! This explains why you needed more time to heal- I said.

-Yeah, my body was quite damaged- Taylor said -But that was past-.

-Yeah true- Scarlett said -My ex-husband tried to kill me, he wanted to drown me-.

-Exes are always the worst- Taylor said.

-Yeah- Scarlett said -Policemen arrived in time but I was very close to death-.

We all had bad backgrounds but we all agreeded that it was past and that we had to live the best way we could because we were lucky to have a second chance and we didn't have to waste it.

Our houses were super big and modern: we all had a living room, a kitchen, three bathrooms, three bedrooms, the master bedroom at the second floor, a gym, a pool and a big garden; the houses were surrounded by gates, so no one could enter.

There was everything, food, clothes, anything we needed! Also, we still had our money we had in our previous life because legally we weren't dead.

That night Scarlett invited Taylor and I at her home to celebrate our first day outside.

-I have invited two of my friends, I hope you don't mind- Scarlett said.

-Of course not!- I said.

-You can trust them, they are close friends- she said -They aren't like us though, but they know about what happened, so you don't have to hide it-.

Taylor and I nodded, entering Scarlett's house.
We went to the garden and we saw two men waiting for us, who smiled when they saw us.

-These are Taylor and Margot- Scarlett said -Girls, these are Nicholas and Thomas but we all call him Tom-.

I like Thomas, he looks very handsome.

-Not now Harley, we can talk when we are at home alone- I whispered.

Ok fine. Tell me when I can take control.

-I will- I whispered and we approached the guys.

The night was super fun and Scarlett's friends were very nice.

Thomas, in particular, kept looking at me all the night and it didn't bother me at all.

-Thomas was looking at you all the time- Taylor said.

-I saw- I said blushing -He is a nice guy-.

-I bet what you want that he will ask you to go out- Taylor said.

We both laughed and went to our homes.
The first day in my new life had been amazing but I was wondering what destiny had planned for me.
