Who's Leaving First?
You left this town -
You said you needed space.
Who knew what would be coming?
Who knew I would lose all my peace?
You wanted love ; I gave all of it to you.
But now why you backstabbing me?
You burnt my soul with your divine touch,
But know it's changed into ashes without your presence.
Late night movies, smoking in cheap hotel rooms.
Do you miss me? Do you remember my face?
Why am I haunted by your silhouette ;
I really hope you leave me -
I got too much pride to call you up.
My hands are numb ; My eyes are shinning bright red.
In the midst of the glory of being yours, I forgot of my own life.
Now that, I am hit hard by strife :
Paranoia is my daylight friend and depression's my late night buddy.
Who's a loser? Who's the winner?
I know nothing. I am lost, honey.
You said spring was your favorite:
But why did you leave me stranded in the middle of the fallen cherry blossoms?
I questioned you every night,
"Would you ever miss me when you leave me?"
Wine on your pale lips, you replied, "I would cry out your name even from my grave".
Then, why did you become the first one not to save , me when I fell down the cliff?
I weep sad tears,
I danced to your voice -
Who's leaving first?
Honey, you did. Only you did.
