Beep. Beep. Beep. I wake up in the hospital to see everyone at the foot of my bed except Tony. "Hey Cait. How ya feeling?" asks Steve. "Did-did we win?" I ask in a weak voice. "Yeah sweetie we did" Natasha said as Tony walked in. He had a hospital gown on and a walker. Steve was dressed like he had jury duty so I know something's up. "Caitlyn Rogers?" a nurse comes in and asks. "No, my name is Caitlyn Carter" I correct her. "Caitlyn, I went to court. And if you want I can change your last name to Rogers" Steve says with court papers. I looked frazzled. "Okay. I'm Caitlyn Rogers" I say to the nurse. "Okie dokie, I'll be right back" she leaves. "Tony, w-why are you in a gown?" I ask. "You lost a lot of blood Caitlyn" Bruce tells me. "The Man of Iron was the only one with the type O negative" Thor says. "So he gave you his" Clint says. "Tony! Thank you. You saved my life!" I thank him. "Don't get used to it kid" Tony says as he sits down. Everyone got fixed up at the hospital that day. "Cait" Zac walks in. "Zac!" I exclaim. Steve being Steve is now thinking that Zac is going to need blood to after he's done with him. "Here" he hands me a "Boo-Boo Bear" and a "Get Well Soon" card. "Thanks Zac" I hug him. "Can I talk to you alone?" he asks. Everyone leaves Steve gives him the stink eye. The door closes. "So" I say making a spot on the hospital bed so he can sit down. "What do you need to ask me?" I ask. He takes a deep breath. "I really like you and I want to go out with you" I blush. "Absolutely" I say. I her a bang on the door. Uh-oh. Steve must have heard that. "I like you too" I say. He leans in awkwardly for a kiss. I hesitated but went with it. It was short. But sweet. They walk back in. "I'm taking your shift today, I gotta go" he says. "Bye everyone" "Bye Zac" I say.
