The demon breathed heavily as he was picked up. Bendy's knees fought to hold himself up, but he was so confused; so scared.

Oh so confused...

He could feel two pairs of hands supporting his weight. A higher pitched vibration hit his horns, making him shiver. He wanted to hear what they were saying; he wanted to see; he wanted normality. Er, at least, as normal as his normal got from before, not even a few minutes ago.

The demon picked himself up and shook the hands off, and leaned over to unluckily connect his cheek on the table, hissing. That pain had left- but now it was being reminisced for the wound had only just stopped hurting two days ago.

"Ah hell-!" the demon fell to his knees, not sure if he was speaking or thinking at this point. He could feel his mouth move, though thoughts occupied his ability to hear.

Shelly's breath hitched as she knelt down to pull the demon up once more, but stilled a bit at the sight of a bit of ink dripping away from the demon's eyes. They were blank, as if they were not receiving anything at all. "Andrew, I don't think he can see or hear!" she began to panic a bit. She actually felt the need to help this deformed one out... And maybe do some good for once in her life while working here. Even if nothing would change in the end...

Doctor Andrew sighed. "Dammit, we shouldn't have used it!"

The fox sighed, pushing the bangs from her head. She stripped her pale colored blouse and tossed it aside, revealing a black tank top as she placed two hands on the inky demon's shoulders. "At least I didn't give him an entire syringe," she spoke, anxious.

Bendy held his cheek, seething internally. He thought he was so damn stupid to try and walk around blind. But he was scared, so could he really blame himself for his own panicky actions? No, he decided that he really couldn't. He still felt anxiety boiling inside as he let out another whimper. The noise was one like a sick puppy being forced outside in the rain- he felt unsafe. He felt strange. He felt different; and it was obvious.

His horns rattled as a shiver rolled down his spine as he grunted at the fox whose dainty hands rested upon his shoulders. The demon moved to roll them off with another grunt, trying to get to his senses. It was fruitless as Shelly pat his shoulders. Bendy snarled, stepping to the side as he stood still, feet placed wide apart. The demon kept his arms around him, and felt around for the wall. When he found it, Bendy leaned onto it with shaky breaths. God, he didn't know what the hell was wrong with him! That syringe had done something, he knew that for sure.

Did she give it to me on purpose?

Why did she want to change now?

I can't think

Doctor Andrew hissed. "Shelly, don't try and touch him, you'll just make things worse!"

Now, normally Shelly would spit back, but right now she chose to just nod and step away. The cat stared at the fox and waved for her to step back even further, and surprisingly she obliged.

The cat doctor turned his attention back to the shaken demon. Taking a step towards him, the doctor reached for his hand's wrist and tapped it, causing the demon to immediately flinch away.

"No touch-" he hissed aloud. His hands clawed at the wall, indenting them with scratches. His head hung low, pressing his body against the wall for it was the only place he felt stable and safe.

Doctor Andrew gently poked the demon's spines, to show it was him. Bendy perked up a bit, easing just a little. Andrew then moved to tap the demon's hand, and took it gently before pressing it up against the wall, and moving it in a circular motion.

Time.

His senses would return in time.

Bendy seemed to understand as he muttered, "Time?"

Doctor Andrew tapped twice onto his knuckles, as if saying yes.

"Thank... You..." his throat pushed further.

Another two taps.

Andrew took the demon's hands and pulled gently. With a breath of self reassurance, the demon stepped forward, with Shelly watching in amazement. Now she knew why this doctor was the best doctor around. Though, that Frank figure was a good bet...

Bendy followed the cat, trust swelling inside his chest as he felt the doctor stop and gently pushed the demon to release his hand and feel for the bed himself. Climbing onto it, the demon felt a pillow be pushed onto the top. The bed creaked as Bendy moved around, finally sighing and relaxing into the pillow, turning onto his belly in order to avoid clawing through the materials and bed itself.

Doctor Andrew laid a hand onto the demon's horns and brushed side to side in a calming gesture.

Shelly spoke up. "So he's going to have to wait this out?" she questioned, a hint of guilt in her eyes.

The doctor pulled his hand away, turning to his computer. "Yes. It appears none of these serums are ever permanent. Give it a day or two..."

"We have six days, now."

Andrew glanced up to her. "I can't control time, miss. When his body fights it off, his senses will return. Believe me when I say that I didn't take this job for money, but because I genuinely care for toons like them. They really aren't all that different, just... off."

Shelly reached for her blouse and pulled it on over her black tank top. "...I know. I never said you took this job for the money. You got it because of how you deal with all these things. And if you had turned down, then-"

"Then Frank would have been given the spot, yes. I remember." he turned his attention back to his computer, and began to type.

The fox came closer, tilting her head a bit. "So you do still speak with him?"

"Hm? Oh, Frank?" he shrugged. "He knows a bit more about Bendy then I currently do now. It'll help in the future, if there is ever the chance that I learn something valuable in the time we have."

Shelly nodded in slight understanding. "I think I get it. That's a good idea. And," she paused. "While you're at it, I want to have a word with the toon who saved Bendy from his previous home. I need to ask what kind of conditions he was living in."

"Can do, miss." he began to type his question. "Oh, and the one who saved him was Oswald and his brother Boris."

"...Oswald has a brother named Boris?"

"No, I meant Bendy. He has a brother, and his name is Boris."

This comment left the fox to think for a moment. "Alright... Well, might as well have a word with the wolf, too."

Doctor Andrew nodded.

Shelly looked at Bendy once more. "So that wolf we saw was his brother... Huh..." she raised her eyebrows. "I guess we learn new things every day."
