BACKGROUND 一 Jinsoo was brought up in Canada along with his older brother.  He constantly had rap battles with his friends and his brother. When Jinsoo was 14, he auditioned for Pledis Entertainment. His brother was diagnosed with leukemia but urged Jinsoo to continue with his career instead of worrying about his brother. This fueled his dreams to become a professional rapper. His brother recovered and the family moved to Seoul to live with his grandparents. He was diagnosed with ADHD when he was in elementary school and he blew off his energy by doing sports.
