seokjin spends the next week thinking, while namjoon spends the time sulking.

seokjin finds himself regretting the fact that he rejected the younger boy, since he was really starting to like him. but he knows that he can't let himself get attached. that will end badly for everyone.

and namjoon, well he just wants to know where he went wrong. everything was going so well; at least that's what he thought. maybe seokjin was never interested and maybe he never will be. these thoughts cloud his mind until one day at sunset, he sees the beautiful boy sitting by the water. his heart tells him to go over there, and sit with him. no words need to be spoken, the silent comfort in the boy's company would make namjoon happy enough. but his mind screams at him to never speak to him again, to give him his space. he decides to listen to his mind, staying in his spot on the hill. from there, he silently watches the love of his life until the boy gets up and walks away.
