Caboose POV

I woke up in the morning to my helmets alarm clock and I jumped out of bed.

Me: Today is a match day!

I quickly got on my battle uniform but I decided to keep my helmet on because it is a present from Church. As I got ready I also grabbed my blue trench coat and started to head outside towards the tank garage.

Me: Today is going to be a great day like everyday!

I was almost to the tank shed when I saw the Panther 4 rolling down the street.

Me: Hi friends!

Miho and Hana popped out their heads and waved at me.

Miho: Good morning Caboose!

Hana: Good morning.

Me: Where is everyone else?

Miho: Mako is sleeping so the rest of the crew is trying to wake her up.

Hana: We are also going to try to wake her up with the tank if all else fails.

Me: Ok, good luck.

I waved them good bye as I got to my tank. Once I got to my tank I started to drive my tank towards the load off place.

Third Person POV

Caboose was sitting down next to his tank waiting for the match to start like a little child. He was rocking back and forth while humming a tune he didn't know. However he was called over by Miho and he came running. When he got closer to the Anglerfish team and the student council he saw that a group of three girls were approaching them.

Caboose: Hi friends and Momo chan!

Momo: Don't call me Momo chan!

The rest of the girls snickered at this but quickly quieted down. One of the girls spotted Yukari and gave her a wave.

???: Hey there Sergeant Oddball!

Yukari: Woah, she found me out!

Caboose: I will help my friend!

Caboose however tripped and landed face first into the ground. The girls looked at him in concern but he quickly got up.

Caboose: Ouch. Sorry.

Miho: No problem, you feeling ok?

Caboose: Yeah that happens to me a lot but I am alright.

Anzu: Okay Caboose, I want you to meet Kay, Alisa, and Naomi.

Caboose: Hi new friends!

Kay: Hi there Caboose.

Kay playfully punched him in the arm while Naomi and Alisa kept their distance.

Alisa: I didn't know Ooarai had a male senshado participant.

Naomi: Any ways we are here to invite you all to have a meal with us.

Kay: To kind of socialize in a way.

Anzu: We will accept.

Miho: I will go get the rest of the girls. Caboose wait here until the rest of us arrive.

Caboose: Ok.

Once the rest of the girls arrived they all headed towards the Saunders prep area. At the prep area they saw a huge amount of food trucks lined up along the lot.

Yuuki: Wow!

Yukari: A first aid vehicle, a shower vehicle, and even a hair salon vehicle!

Caboose: That is a lot.

Kay: Please have as much of you want.

Miho: Really?

Kay: That is what I said right?

Miho: Uhm, alright. Everyone enjoy yourself however thank them.

The rest of the team nods in agreement and separated. Caboose stayed with the Anglerfish crew as they surveyed the food trucks.

Caboose: Do they have cookies?

Miho: I don't know.

Yukari: Hey Caboose, do you want to see if they have cookies together?

Caboose: Yeah!

The 2 sprinted off to see which truck has cookies in it while the rest of the crew smiled at their antiques.

Miho: He really has become one of us huh?

Hana: Yeah.

Saori: I just can't believe the contrast though.

Mako: What do you mean?

Saori: When he is not angry he is the most harmless and sweetest boy I ever met. However when he gets mad he almost seems like a cold blooded killer.

Miho: Well we all know why he is like that so all we have to do is make sure he doesn't get mad around people.

Hana: Easier said than done commander.

Caboose: YUKARI THIS TRUCK HAS COOKIES!

Yukari: Yes! Mission successful!

Miho: *sigh* I should go before those two eat all the cookies.

Hana: I will come with you commander.

Saori just snickers at the two while Mako gave them a sleepy smile.

Announcer: Match Start!

The flare was shot up and Ooarai began to set their plan into action.

Miho: Remember the plan, set up an ambush so that we can eliminate that Firefly. Duck team try to scout ahead for enemy tanks. Caboose can you try sneaking around?

Caboose: Ok Miho.

Caboose's tank sped forward but than hit a bump causing Caboose to hit his head on the roof of the tank.

Caboose: Ouch...

Miho: You ok Caboose?

Caboose: Yeah I am fine.

Momo: Are we gonna sit here all day and talk or are we going to win the match?!

Caboose: Yes Momo Chan, sorry.

Momo took a deep breath before replying.

Momo: Please don't call me Momo Chan. Just Momo is fine.

Caboose: Ok Momo.

Momo: Thank you.

Caboose drove for a bit however he came across something weird. As he was sneaking in the forest he saw what seems to be a big white balloon in the sky.

Caboose: Ooohhhh a big white balloon!!

Miho: Wait what?!

Noriko: We see it too. It looks like a barrage balloon.

Hana: What could it be?

Caboose: I want to touch it!

Miho: Caboose wait!

Caboose: Touch.

Caboose fires the cannon and the cannon rips the balloon into shreds.

Momo: CABOOSE!!

Caboose:.........Tucker did it.

Miho:*sigh* Caboose try not to shoot into the air like that. It could hurt someo-

Announcer: One of Saunders tank is eliminated!

The entire Ooarai team was silent as they were trying to determine what just happened.

Saori: Did he just...

Yukari: Eliminate a tank already.

Hana: By shooting down a balloon?

Meanwhile with Kay.

Kay: What the heck was that!

Naomi: Whoever shot us is one heck of a sniper.

Kay: Well I am getting fired up from this!

Back with Ooarai's team.

Yukari: Nice job Caboose!

Caboose:........I meant to do that.

Miho: Anyways stick to the plan.

With Alisa.

Alisa: What the heck, our balloon is shot down.

Sherman gunner: We have another one just in case.

Alisa: Great just start setting it up.

The balloon blew up and Alisa started to hear Ooarai's radio once again.

Hana: Strange, where are they?

Caboose: Sneaking sneaking sneaking sneaking...

Miho: Caboose do you see anyone?

Caboose: No but I do see a green thing.

Miho: What does it look like?

Caboose: It has a bulge on the top and a pointy thing in front of it. Oh! It also has a star symbol on it.

Momo: That is the enemy team!

Caboose: What do I do?

Momo: Shoot them!

Caboose: Ok.

Saori: Wait!

Caboose shot his gun however he missed and the tank started turning towards him

Caboose: The tank looks mad.

Momo: Than run away!

Caboose: OK! Running running running!

In the distance the rest of the Ooarai team can hear the sound of multiple guns going off with explosions.

Just as she says that several explosions near the Ooarai team happened.

Miho: Everyone scatter!

The entire team scatters and Miho began to question how strike next.

Miho: Alright team, let's try to snipe them from over the ridge over there.

The rest of the team confirmed their orders and stared setting up positions along the ridge. They saw the Saunder's tanks starting to fall into their trap however suddenly they turned towards the Ooarai tanks and started to open fire.

Miho: How do they know?! Everyone get out of here!

The team scatters once again and Miho begun to get suspicious.

Miho: How do they know our ambushes?

Yukari: The balloon!

Saori: Wait they can't do that right!?

Hana: Radio tapping is not illegal in the senshado rules.

Saori: We should report this!

Miho: Wait, I got a better idea.

 Then they heard the Duck teams radio crackle to life.

Duck team: We have spotted the enemy flag tank!

Miho: Saori send a text to them saying lead the tank to us.

Saori: Roger that commander.

Saori sent the Duck team their new orders while Miho radioed Caboose.

Duck team: Got it!

Miho: Good, Caboose how many tanks are chasing you?

Caboose: 1...2... 2 tanks.

Miho: Alright, try to see if you can distract them as long as you can, we have our hands full and can't really send help right now.

Caboose: OK!

Miho: Great. Good luck.

Yukari: Wait, Miho if Saunders is radio tapping us will they hear the order?

Miho: I am counting on them too. Saori text Hippo team.

Saori: Roger that.

Caboose was being chased by two of Saunder's tanks and he was making them run.

Caboose: Running running running.

Then he spotted a large open field and quickly tried to get across it. However once he was about halfway through the field he saw the rest of the Saunders team and they saw him.

Caboose: Oh no that is all the bad guys!

Miho: Uhm Caboose, you alright?

Caboose: I found the rest of the team!

Miho: We found the flag tank so just hang tight, we will try to send help as fast as we can.

Meanwhile earlier with Alisa.

Alisa: Aw crap!

Miho: Chase that Sherman!

The Sherman started to turn tail and run as well as contact their commander.

Alisa: We have been spotted....

Kay: How, you were in cover!

Alisa: Well we kind of had a barrage balloon over us.....

Kay: WHAT!!!

Alisa: I am sorry but please help us...

Kay: *sigh* Ok but we will be having a talk later. Everyone prepare to go to Alica's locatio-

Naomi: Enemy tank spotted.

Kay: What?!

Sherman Commander 1: This is Beta 2 we have been chasing this dang tank for most of the match however it is somehow still alive.

Kay: Understood, all tanks follow that tank, it might lead us back to their team.

Sherman Commander 2: This is Beta 1 we have a clear shot on it and we should be able to take it ou-

She was cut off by the sound of a explosion and a white flag soon popped out of her tank.

Announcer: Another Saunders tank has been eliminated.

Kay: Alright, everyone follow that tank and Naomi, watch for snipers.

Naomi: Copy that.

With Ooarai.

Erwin: Alright nice hit.

Caboose: Thanks you history people.

Saemoza: No problem, just doing our job as the great heroes of history!

Caboose: Yeah I have no idea what you mean but ok.

Ceaser: Let's go before that Firefly nails us.

Erwin: Right.

Meanwhile with Miho.

Miho: It seems she is yelling at us while running away.

Caboose: Uhm Miho.

Miho: Yes Caboose?

Caboose: Is that you in front of me?

Miho: What?

Miho popped her head out and looked behind her tank.

Miho: Caboose try to do evasive maneuvers!

Caboose: What?

Saori: Drive like crazy.

Caboose: Oh ok.

Miho looked back again to see Caboose doing a zigzag pattern and, much to Saori's description, driving like a a crazy person. Then Miho noticed a certain barrel behind them pointing directly at them.

Miho: Drift the tank!

Maho: ok.

The tank drifted and a shell landed right next to the tank.

Hana: Hey Mako, go up that hill. I think I can hit the Sherman from up there.

Miho: Ok, but you only got one shot.

Hana: I only need one shot.

Mako drived up the hill and they saw Alisa's Sherman driving in a straight line. Hana lined up her shot and fired just as the Firefly also fired. The shot hit the Sherman and took it out and then the Panzer 4 got taken out by the shot from the firefly. There was a silence until the announcer broke it with the shocking announcement.

Announcer: Saunders flag tank is taken out first. Ooarai All Girls Academy Wins!

All the teams gathered after the match and did their post-match exchanges. Soon Kay along with a very scared Alisa and an annoyed Naomi to the Ooarai team.

Kay: Are you the commander of the Ooarai team?

Miho: Yes?

Kay: That was an awesome match!

She gave Miho a huge hug much to the surprise of the rest of the crew. Once she released Miho from her hug Miho began to ask a question.

Miho: Why did you bring 6 tanks to the match?

Kay: Because I want a fair fight, that is what senshado is all about.

Miho smiled at this and she smiled even more when she heard a familiar voice call out from behind the group.

Caboose: Hi freinds!

Miho: Hi Caboose. You enjoying victory?

Caboose: This is a great day!

Miho: Yes it is Caboose.

Naomi: I actually have a question for you.

Hana: Yes?

Naomi: Are you the gunner for the Panzer 4?

Hana: Yes.

Naomi: First of all great shot at the end.

Hana: Oh thank you.

Naomi: Secondly were you the one that shot one of our Sherman's near the beginning of the round.

Hana: Nope.

Naomi: Really? Who was it than?

The Anglerfish team all turned to Caboose who was staring at them his head turned to the side in confusion.

Caboose: Do I have something on my helmet?

Kay: Impressive also why do you have a helmet on all the time?

Caboose: This is a gift from Church.

Naomi: That is nice.

Caboose: Yeah, Church is my best friend before I met new friends!

Kay: That is nice. Well we should be leaving now.

Then she turned to Alisa and spoke into her ear. Alisa's head hung low while Naomi tried to comfort her.

The group were watching the Saunders team leave when Mako's phone started ringing.

Mako: Huh? I don't recognize that number.

Caboose: Wait Mako, stranger danger!

Miho: It should be fine Caboose.

Mako: Yes.......what?.......understood...

Mako hung up her phone and started to form tears on her eyes as she turned away from the group. Saori quickly grabbed her shoulder.

Saori: What is it Mako?

Mako: Nothing important.

Saori: Doesn't sound like it's not important.

Mako: Fine my grandma slipped and she is hurt. She is in the hospital.

The news hit them all hard.

Hana: You should go then.

Saori: I will see if you can catch a ride.

Mako started to go to the water.

Mako: I will swim there.

Miho: That is not ok. Let us help you.

Maho: Excuse me.

The group turned to see Maho and Erika.

Maho: We have a ride if you want.

Erika: Kommadant, we really shouldn't be-

Maho: Please not right now Erika.

Erika: Jawohl.

Miho: Thanks sis.

Maho: This has nothing to do with it.

Saori: Maho, I am coming with you.

The group all watched as the helicopter lifted off and disappeared through the clouds.
