Third Person POV

Akagi's body disappears through the sea's waves as both sides watched in horror. Caboose watched with wide eyes and soon tears begin to form.

Caboose: I.....I....k..killed.....her....

Suddenly his blue wings begun to turn red as a large red crystal begins to form in the sky.

Caboose: I killed someone.....am I.......like mean orange man?

He looked at the sea in both fear and.....anger. Anger at the voice. Anger at what he has done. Anger at what kind of sick joke the world is playing at him. His eyes begun to burn a blood red and the crystal explodes, creating a massive crack in the sky.

Prince of Wales: What is happening?!

Illustrious: The holy light does not approve!

Nagato: We need to get out!

Enterprise: What has happened to you Caboose....

Unicorn: I'm scared big sister!

Shigure: D-Don't worry, Shigure the great will bless you all with good fort-

Suddenly the world became blinded in a bright light and the next thing the ships knew they found themselves somewhere else. The ships looked around in both fear and shock. Cleveland finally collected herself to speak.

Cleveland: W-What is this place?

A huge range of mountains is seen along with rock outcrops in the ocean, separating the two forces. Fire was all around the mountains and some even in the ocean as lava pours into the ocean. In the walls of fire and rock is Ayanami, Z23,  Javelin, and Laffey. All separated from their groups and lost in the maze of fire and rock.

With Ayanami and Z23.

Ayanami: Must get out of here.

Z23: I agree.

Ayanami: Do you know where we are going?

Z23: No, however we need to try.

Ayanami nods and the two went on their way.

With Javelin and Laffey.

Javelin: Why are we the ones separated?

Laffey: Heat make Laffey sleepy...

Javelin: Don't sleep on me!

Laffey: Ok...

The two looked around them and they noticed a wall that seemed climbable. The two made their way on top of a small rock outcrop and looked out into the labyrinth they found themselves in.

Javelin: Uh oh.....

Laffey: Laffey hates mazes...

The two stared out into the distance for a bit before they jumped at a voice behind them.

???: You!

Both Javelin and Laffey quickly turned around in time to dodge a shell from Z23. Ayanami quickly followed behind her and readies her sword. Javelin quickly got up and readies her spear as Laffey takes a defensive stance.

Javelin: Wait! We don't want to fight!

Ayanami: Why do you keep not wanting to fight?

Laffey: We don't want to fight friends...

Z23: We are not friends. We are enemies.

Javelin: But why can't we be friends?

Z23: We are at war, you don't make friends who are fighting you in war.

Laffey: But Laffey thinks Ayanami and Z23 are friends...

Ayanami was taken aback by the statement however Z23 was not convinced.

Z23: Oh really? How do I know that this is not a trick?

Then Laffey did something that shocked all three of them. She lowers her weapons and stood up straight, looking at Ayanami and Z23 in the eyes. Javelin slowly followed suit and then Ayanami sheathed her sword. Z23 continues to look in disbelief however she too slowly put her weapons away. Suddenly a loud crash is heard and both sides raised their weapons again.

Z23: I knew it!

Javelin: What did you do?!

Ayanami: A sneak attack?!

Laffey: Laffey confused....

The two sides pointed weapons at each other, ready for a fight however they noticed something was wrong.

Javelin: Is that not you guys?

Z23: No, is it you?

Laffey: Laffey is more confused....

Ayanami:........truce?

Laffey gave a thumbs up while Javelin and Z23 hesitantly nodded. The four put down their weapons again and began to scan the surrounding area.

Ayanami: I don't see anything.

Javelin: Me neither.

Laffey: Nothing here.....

Z23: Sector is clear.

Suddenly a shadow converged onto Z23 however she blocked the blow with her riggings and took a leap back as dust begins to rise.

Z23: Not clear! Not Clear!

The rest of the girls quickly followed her and leveled their weapons against the shadow that attacked them. The dust settles and all their eyes widened.

Javelin: C-Caboose?

Caboose stood up straight, towering over the ships, pistol in hand. Javelin shook as she tries to hold up her spear towards her friend as Ayanami and Z23 had a grim face on. Laffey however kept her weapons down and simply stared at Caboose.

Laffey: Laffey doesn't feel like Caboose is ok...

Javelin: Uhm, Laffey I hate to be that person but can you PLEASE get your weapon out.

Z23: I have to agree.

Ayanami nodded however Laffey simply stared into Caboose's? helmet.

Laffey: That's not friend Caboose. Caboose has an orange visor.

The rest of the girls where confused and looked at the visor of the helmet, only to see that Laffey was right. The helmet of Caboose wasn't orange at all, and instead more of a yellowish tint.

Javelin: Than....who is he?

Suddenly Caboose charges towards them and the ship girls begin to open fire. He dodges their shells and quickly punched Javelin's spear, causing Javelin to be forced back. Z23 quickly raises her rigging weapons and opens fire forcing Caboose to slide back.

Ayanami: Are you ok?

Javelin: Y-Yeah. I can still fight.

Laffey: I don't like people who hurt my friends....

Laffey raised her riggings and joins Z23 in firing on Caboose. The two continue to fire until a shot hits Caboose's? helmet, causing a piece of the visor to shatter. The two stopped firing as Caboose? tries to regain his balance.

Javelin: I-Is he ok?

Z23: He attacked us, why are you worried about him?

Laffey: Caboose is a friend....

Ayanami: I hope so.

Suddenly Caboose looked at the girls and they where shocked at what they saw. Inside the helmet was indeed Caboose however something was wrong......very wrong.

Javelin: H-His eyes.

Z23: Yellow?! Only sirens have yellow eyes!

Caboose raised his Magnum and begins to fire at the ship girls who scattered and hid behind cover.

Javelin: We need to tell the others!

Z23: Agreed!

The four tried to get out however they where quickly forced back into cover by Caboose's shooting. 

Javelin: What now?!

???: Caboose?!

The shooting stopped and both the ship girls and Caboose turned around and saw a strange person looking at Caboose. Caboose's eyes widened and he took a deep breath.

Caboose: Agent Washington?
