Third Person POV

The ocean was quiet as the waves rose up than fell back down. The sea breeze was blowing calmly as a fish popped out of the water. The tranquility of the ocean was short live, as the drone of aircraft engines quickly became apparent and soon a shadow casted itself over the water as a formation of planes buzzed through the skies. The ships quickly followed them and Washington looked out into the ocean.

Wash: I don't like this...

Carolina: Reminds me of the time me and Church broke into the Freelancer base.

Wash: You mean the one with your dad?

Carolina: Yeah...

Wash: Well, I can at least enjoy the view of the ocean.

Carolina: Well, let's just hope we can see it again after this.

Washington nodded as he continued to scan the surrounding sea. Suddenly he spotted something and he quickly drew out his battle rifle as Carolina began to run towards the upper deck.

Carolina: Contact!

Footsteps quickly followed as the Reds and Blues with the combined force of Azur Lane and Crimson Axis  start getting into their battle stations. Then a purple laser streaked through the skies and soon the roar of battleship guns sent a reply. As it did Sarge stopped and looked at the smoking barrel with a bit of jealousy.

Sarge: If only my shotgun was like that.

Grif: Please, no.

Simmons: So, what's the plan?

Carolina: Get close enough to use our weapons, then shoot.

Sarge: No we are talking missy.

Carolina: Never call me that again.

Sarge: So...are we going?

Grif: Well I would personally say n-

Sarge: Great, Grif go first.

Grif: What the h*ll Sarge?!

Wash: Come on, let's move it!

Simmons: Right!

The Reds and Blues jumped into the water and started to head towards the looming black and red ships of the siren.

Meanwhile with Caboose.

The crack of a fist hitting metal ringed through Caboose's nightmare world as Caboose was thrown to the ground by the large Elite.

Elite: How unfortunate, it seems the son is just as dull as the father.

Caboose: Why are you so mean?

Elite: Because I am.

Caboose: That's a lame answer.

The Elite scoffed at his remark before kicking Caboose in the chest. Caboose's armor dented slightly as Caboose began to cough on the floor.

Elite: You can't win this battle.

Caboose: Says who?

Elite: This.

The Elite suddenly grabbed Caboose's neck and hoisted him up off the ground. Than, his hand began to glow and the Elite began to grow a sadistic smile.

Elite: They say the mind is like a jar. All of its contents are just one touch away.

With that he thrusted his hand into Caboose's head and Caboose screamed with pain. Blood began to fall from the helmet as the Elite slowly pulled out a small ball of light.

Elite: Ah. So here is the great Agent California. The A.I that was supposed to save humanity alongside Church of course...

Caboose: C-Charlie?

The ball began to grow into a person and Charlie looked at Caboose with sadness in his holographic eyes.

Charlie: I-I'm s-s-sorry Cab-Caboose...

The Elite's smile grows wider as to Caboose's horror he crushed the orb. When the Elite opened his hand, all that fell was dust.

Caboose: Charlie...

Elite: And that's all she wr-

The Elite never got to finish his statement as Caboose grabbed his throat and slammed it against the ground. The Elite was in shock as he looked up into Caboose's helmet visor.

Elite: Oh? So it only took a dead friend?

Caboose: SHUT UP!

Caboose quickly punched the Elite to the ground as a sickening crack came from the Elite's body. However the Elite simply cracked his neck and smiled.

Elite: Finally, a worthy challenge.

The Elite quickly kicked Caboose off and gave him a punch to the stomach however Caboose quickly blocked it before punching the Elite in the stomach. The Elite took the blow and took a step back before he ignites his energy sword.

Elite: Let us begin, shall we?

Caboose summoned his own blade and simply ignites it as well before charging the Elite with rage boiling out of his eyes. The two locked blades and the crackle of plasma echoed through the darkness.

Elite: Excellent.

With the Reds and Blues, Red Axis, and Azur Lane.

Shells and planes zipped through the battlefield as another siren ship goes up in smoke.

Sarge: This is more like it!

Simmons: I would like to go back to fighting the blues.

Tucker: You're not the only one. We never had to try this hard fighting you guys.

Carolina: Less talking more fighting!

The two quickly nodded in fear and began to sail around again blasting at siren ships. Meanwhile Enterprise fired another arrow and a siren battleship explodes into two.

Enterprise: And that's another one.

Belfast: We should be getting through the fleet very soon.

Enterprise: We should not be letting our guard down.

Belfast nodded and continued to fire her rigging guns. Suddenly a the sound of groaning steel filled the battlefield and all eyes turned to see the source of the sound. The battlefield soon turned silent as all eyes rest on a huge siren ship, on it where two figures.

Enterprise: Akagi...

Belfast: It seems so, but who is with her?

Suddenly blue planes came out of the sky and began to strafe Simmons whos quickly ducked out of the way.

Simmons: How are those on fire and flying?! That's not scientifically possible!

Sarge: Less science more shooting!

Donut: Shall I use my gun?

Grif: No!

Tucker: I was going to say something but I think it's better if I don't.

Lopez: You all talk to much in a fight.

Grif: Oh my gosh Lopez! You just spoke your first words that I can understand in a fight!

Donut: No he didn't! He spoke during our fight with Lopez 2.0!

Simmons: Well only you understood him.

Sarge: Can we just start shooting again!

Donut: On it sir, blasting away soon!

Wash: Just shut up and shoot!

With that the battle continued and Enterprise quickly propelled herself up into the air.

Enterprise: Target in sight.

She drew her bow as an arrow made of light appeared on her bowstring. She aimed and fired at the large ship, the arrow splitting up into planes which quickly dove into the ship and released their payload. However when the bombs hit, there was no damage to the shock of everyone.

Javelin: How?!

Simmons: It must have a shield!

Grif: But I thought they had to be bigger in order for a shield to be usable?

Sarge: Well you thought wrong.

Enterprise: What now...

With Caboose.

Caboose slammed his blade down on the elite again, his movement hampered with fatigue. The Elite barely blocked it before pushing Caboose back and separating them. The Elite smiled at Caboose however to Caboose's surprise he unlit his sword and stood up.

Elite: A worthy fight it has been, however it seems my time is up.

Caboose: What?

Elite: Farewell.

Suddenly the Elite summoned smoke and it completely blanketed Caboose's vision. When it settled down, Caboose saw that the Elite was gone and in his place was a ball of light. Suddenly the light engulfed Caboose and he woke up with a jerk inside the Azur Lane sick hall.

Caboose: W-Where am I?

There was no answer and Caboose quickly jumped out of bed, grabbed his armor, and put it on as he ran.

Caboose: Where are friends?

He quickly ran towards the docks however he felt a small sting in his arm and he looked down to see his gauntlet tracking device was going off. It was how he was able to see his teammates and he realized that they where somewhere else.

Caboose: Must help friends.

He quickly summoned his ship, however nothing came. He tried again and the same result. He finally gave it one more go and the Infinity appeared......and immediately slammed into some parts of the base below.

Caboose: Washingtub is going to be so mad...

Caboose quickly boarded his ship and began to try and drive it with his mind to no avail. He than tried to fire up the engines, only for a small portion of the base to be fried.

Caboose: Not my fault, the buildings got in the way.

Caboose quickly lifted off and pushed a green button, that lead to his ship moving backwards.

Caboose: No! Bad ship!

Caboose quickly pushed a blue button and the ship stopped and began to move forwards. Caboose cheered and soon saw a big red button.

Caboose: Ohhh button.

Caboose quickly shook his head and began to try and drive the Infinity, occasionally hitting the water below.

Caboose: Don't worry friends, I will come and help.
