The friends were exploring the back forest of the mansion early in the morning next day. The place was dead silent except for the sound of chirping birds and sound of the water flowing through streams from far away.

Ron was practising shooting as he aimed his arrow towards the temporary bull's eye which he had hung from the branch of a tree. He shot the arrow and to his badluck, it missed it and went and hit Veer. Veer took the arrow up and shouted out,"Why do you need to practice shooting when you don't know it?"

"Hah! Well I think that you know it a lot." Said Ron.

"Yes I do know that. I have won many certificates also." Said Veer with pride.

"Really?" Asked Jackie as she walked up to Veer and hugged him from the back. 

"Yup baby." Said Veer as he kissed Jackie's cheek.

"C'mon then, we can have a competition today. Veer vs Ron." Said Anushka as she walked up to the place where everyone had gathered.

Everyone had gathered around the bull's eye and cheering Veer and Ron when Alia was curled up in a sad corner and was watching it without paying much attention.

Veer approached her when he saw that her eyes were a bit moist.

"What happened Al?" Asked Veer with concern in his voice.

Alia wiped down the tears from her eyes and said in reflex,"Huh! Just nothing. Nothing."

"Are you sure?" Asked Veer.

"Yup." Said Alia.

The competition had started when Ron shot an arrow which missed the bull's eye and went straight far away. All of them decided to go and look for it. Everyone was searching for the arrow with their eyes fixed on the ground.

Aryan noticed the red head of the arrow peeping out from under the pile of dry leaves heaped up on the ground. He picked it up and was heading to inform his friends when he felt that someone from the back, pulled his ankle of the right leg and he tripped and fell with his face hitting hard on the ground. But the think on which his face hit was not the typical soil but something coarse and hard, just like a cemented ground which made his forehead bleed.

His fall made a hard sound which made the rest of the friends alert and they rushed to the spot. Aryan got up and showed them the arrow while a few drops of blood rolled down his wound and fell on the ground.

Veer noticed that and said, "What are you made of ? Like seriously, you are bleeding while your head hit the soft soil?"

"No it wasn't soil actually. I felt something really hard." Said Aryan.

"Yup you are absolutely right now the government is building up cemented ground in the middle of the forest." Said Alia sarcastically.

"Whatever. You people go I am coming in a minute." Said Veer as the others went away towards the mansion.

Veer kicked and removed the pile of dry leaves which had been heaped on the spot where Aryan fell down and was amazed to find a cemented platform there. He again kicked the pile of leaves so that they cover the spot again.

"Something is really fishy about this place." Said Veer to himself as he walked back towards the mansion.
