"Free birthday shots from Jey Uso?!" Briar's jaw drops. Okay, he's not God...

"What up, Crim." A voice booms from behind us causing the hairs on my neck to stand. Jimmy Uso comes around. "Oh good, you got our shots." He grins before his attention moves to Briar. "What up, girl. Who's your friend?" He asks friendly, I swear him and Jey could literally talk to anyone... and we've only had a few conversations that have already been far too many.

I sigh annoyedly through my nose. Remember this is Briar's night, not yours, you already had your night at SmackDown. Briar looks at him in awe, practically bouncing on her toes. A lot of times I forget she's a huge a wrestling fan, since we've known each other for so many years. Damn it.

"This is my best friend, Briar." I clear my throat as she smiles. "Briar, this is Jimmy Uso- or Jonathan."

"Nice to meet you." Jimmy holds out his hand to shake and Briar looks like she's three seconds away from passing out due to excitement. I know if she was at her shop right now, she'd real in it and come off much more professional... but she's drunk at a club meeting one of her favorite wrestlers.

"Wow." She swallows, swiping her hand down her jean shorts before shaking Jimmy's hand. "Nice to meet you."

"You come to the show tonight?" Jimmy asks, glancing back at me.

"Front row seats actually." She beams. "Thanks to Crimson." She nudges me with her hip. "My dad and I are huge fans." She tells him. "He's the one that got me into wrestling and now we own a wrestling themed tattoo shop." The words keep spilling out her drunken mouth as Jimmy nods along intently as I stand here wondering how I cannot believe my fucking luck.

"Oh, man, that's so dope! Do you have something I can sign for your dad?" Jimmy asks genuinely causing Briar's mouth to fall open once again.

"Oh, my God, yeah..." She trails off, digging in her purse.

"Is that where you get your ink done?" Jimmy looks at me.

I rake my tongue across my teeth. "Yeah, every wrestling move I do on her I get one free." I give him a tight-lipped smile.

His eyes widen. "Ohhh, for real?"

I blink at him, rapidly losing patients. "No."

"I have this tourist brochure from the hotel?" Briar offers him.

"That'll work." Jimmy grins before turning to the bartender I didn't know was still standing here. "Can I borrow your pen?" He asks her.

"Aye, what up, Crim Kae!" Jey's voice booms over the music as he suddenly pops up beside me. "I see you got our shots." He rubs his hands together before noticing Briar and his brother. "Oh, who's this? Friend of yours?"

"Nobody." I answer quickly, wondering how I got trapped in this hyper-ass nightmare. "We were just heading to the bathroom." I tell him.

"You gotta take a shot with us first." Jey says to me as I catch a glimpse of Damian heading this direction. Thank fuck.

"Thanks but no thanks." I tell Jey as Damian reaches us.

"Awww, come on." Jey doesn't let me deflate his energy, unfortunately.

"CK, everything... alright." His words come to a stop as he reaches us and his eyes land on the twins. "I just came to check on you two, you've been gone for a while."

"Oh, shit, it's Priest." Jimmy says excitedly.

"Oh, what up, DP!" Jey greets him.

"Boys." He nods to them.

"We were just about to take a shot, man, join us." Jey happily offers.

"Nah, I'm good." Damian causally denies.

"No, we were actually leaving." I correct him, grabbing Briar's arm.

"Oh, come on ladies, one shot with us for the birthday twins." Jimmy grins, holding out two shot glasses.

"It's your birthday?" Briar exclaims. "Mines tomorrow!" Why the hell is it everyone's birthday all of the sudden.

"Oh hell yeah, then birthday shots all around." Jey chuckles, turning to me with a playful pointed look and a shot. "Crim Kae?"

"I don't drink." I decline, looking at him directly in the eye.

"Not even for special occasions?" He raises a brow. Is he really one to be asking that?

"Name one." I challenge.

"Ahhh, you funny, Uce." He points to me before throwing his head back as he takes the shot. He slams it down on the tray and picks up another. "Your turn."

"She said she doesn't drink." Damian says firmly, hovering directly against my back.

"Alright, DP, it's cool." Jey holds his hands up innocently.

"Yeah, Uce, we're just having our fun." Jimmy adds cooly.

Damian's jaw ticks as I place my hand on his chest. "Well, boys, this has been so fun, until the next time you track me down, hmm?"

"Nice to meet you, Briar, happy birthday." They bow their heads towards her before backing up and disappearing in the sea of the crowd.

"It's okay." I speak lowly, looking up at Damian. "It's okay."

"They shouldn't have—" He starts before Briar cuts him off unknowingly.

"Oh my, God, pinch me now." She shakes her head in disbelief. "C, this is the best birthday I've ever had." She pulls me in for a hug. I glance up at Damian who visible looks a bit less pissed off and I take a deep breath. They didn't know, I annoyedly tell myself. As much as they irritate me, they're just here having fun like everyone else.

"What are the odds, right?" She laughs, pulling away from me but keeps her hands on my shoulders.

"Pretty likely, actually." I can't help but snort. If I had a dollar for every person in that family I've ran into, aka has found me, over the past few weeks... I'd be a rich woman. Hell, I might could actually buy WWE at this point.

"Well, it's almost midnight, let's go sing!" Briar smirks earning a groan. "You know you love it!" She points to me before taking off. Oh, shit, wait- "I'm gonna go talk to the DJ!" She hollers over her shoulder.

"I thought you had to pee!" I call back but she's already gone.

"I like her, she makes me feel young." Damian muses at me shaking my head.

"Me too." I exhale winded, as if I'm not younger than her. I place a hand on my hip. "You know, you don't have to stay sober tonight." I tell him. "You drink if you want to." Guilt slowly creeps its way into my chest. I hate that he's staying sober tonight just for me. I want him to be able to have fun too, just like girls.

Speaking of... well, at least Rhea and Denni are in pairs. Briar on the other hands.

"I can have a good time sober, CK, just as easily as I could enjoy a drink. But," He takes a step closer. "I want to remember everything that happens tonight." He says huskily. "And I can't do that blackout drunk."

"Right." I say breathlessly.

He leans down, hovering near my ear. "I want to remember every dance, the way your body moves against mine, I want you to feel safe here, and at the end of the night I want you to end it with me so I make sure you get some sleep tonight." He pulls back.

I look up at him through my lashes, lifting my brows challengingly. "I'll have to put the girls to bed."

"I'll wait."

"Yes, sir." I purse my lips into a side smirk.

The Uso's crashed Briar's bday... but it's their bday & she didn't mind at alll so they get a pass haha. Not our girl B being so excited & oblivious lmao, we love her. And they love annoying our girl Crim soo bad hahaha. I genuinely loved writing this chapter sooo much, bc it was like snapping your head back and forth between two people, full of drama the whole time & I was eating it uppp.

I hope y'all enjoyed ittt!! The next chap is gonna have a HUGEEEE surprise for y'all that I think y'all are gonna LOVEEEE!! Also, after Briar's bday weekend, I'm gonna do some time jumps lol. Nothing serious, just probs skip through the week to Friday bc we're almost to 50 chapters & I feel like things gotta speed up a lil bit cause we still 2022🫣😂😭 which is okayyyy, but I'm trying to get a move on lmao, so y'all bare with me hehe, there's so much planned for this book that hasn't even happened yet!!

Well, happy momjey night mamiiii, istg the end of last weeks raw pissed me off sooo fucking baddd, like could Jey have not had a good fcking feud & lost to literally ANYBODYYY else?! ALSO WHERE IS MY MAN ROMAN?!😩 HELLO?! Anybody seee himmm (I feel like he's gonna come back whenever Seth cashes in, otherwise I'm gonna crashout)
