My jaw locks as the microphone dangles in my hand as Roman finally emerges from the back, Jimmy and Jey slowly following behind him, like panthers ready to pounce.

Good God, could he walk any slower...

The crowd erupts in boo's which causes me to grin as I inspect my nails, looking bored as hell. He climbs the steps as Jimmy and Jey hop up to the ring on the side.

Roman's eyes pin me in place as he steps into the ring, anticipation and tension building around us.

He chuckles, his bright smile blinding me as the twins slip into the ring and he brings the microphone up to his lips. "So they just letting anyone kick off the show now, huh?"

"Ooo." Jimmy and Jey laugh as they move to stand behind Roman.

I scoff, opening my mouth to say something when he turns to look at the crowd. "Raleigh, North Carolinaaa." He drawls out. I roll ny eyes. Uh, hello??? Am I just not here? "Acknowledge me!" He roars, only intensifying the boo's from the crowd.

"Ah, that's great." I laugh into my mic. "Real cute, real cute. You know, you should be thanking me, Big Dog." His nose twitches, and I love that those two words get under his skin so well. "Thanks to me, you've gotten more social media views and conversation than you have in months. Even more than your little SummerSlam match."

He chuckles, rubbing his face. "Ah, you think I care about some social media numbers? Uso's?"

"Yeah, Chief?" Jimmy leans forward.

"Do you think I have time to worry about some social media numbers?"

"Nooo." Jimmy purses his lips as he shakes his head, like a child.

"No." Roman turns back to me. "Maybe you should be thanking me." He takes a step forward as I look at him expectantly, waiting to hear oh so why I should be so thankful. "Thanks to me anyone even knows your name around here. Gaining over a million followers—" He makes a 'yikes' face.

"I thought you were too busy to worry about social media numbers?" I cut him off, looking out to the crowd. "Babe, you haven't been this relevant in months til me." I cackle.

His cocky smile drops. "Maybe someone who actually has a match tonight, you know a bit more relevant, should be out here kicking off the show, like the champs." He gestures behind him to the twins.

"Mmm, right, right." I nod slowly like I'm with him, pacing a few steps. "So then... why are you out here?"

The crowd ooo's.

"But funny you should mention them, so glad you did.... Maybe you should ask your family over there who's 'relevant' cause I hear they're big fans." I smirk, waving my fingers over at Jimmy and Jey.

Jey goes to wave while Jimmy smiles, nodding his head at me until Roman snaps his head at them and they both hold their hands up, shaking their heads innocently.

Roman steps forward til he's inches in front of me, his grin returning. "Big talk for someone who isn't even champ." He tilts his head.

I scrunch my nose up, smiling cutely as I take a step forward, dragging my finger along his title across his waist while other is draped over his shoulder. "Yeah, well unlike you, some of us can't use our name and family ties to make it to the top."

"No." He chuckles. "You just use my name instead, right?" He nods, staring down at me intently. "You ever been champion before?"

"Clearly, he doesn't know Crimson Kae like we do." Pat's voice fades into background noise.

I chuckle lowly, the crowd and the Uso's disappearing to the back of mind. My finger dragging across his belt and I grab it, yanking him forward, and to my surprise he actually budges. "When was the last time you won on your own?" I fire back. "Cause unlike you..." I drag my finger down his chest all the way down to the belt around his waist, just like last Friday. Dear lord, it's like something takes over my body when this happens, but the crowd is LIVING for it. "I can actually win on my own." With that I pat his title.

His nostrils twitch as I back away, smiling like the cat that caught the canary.

"You're not going anywhere until you acknowledge me." He says as I roll on the mat out of the ring.

Oh this is the perfect cherry on top. "You know, I would but... I'm just not relevant enough." I smirk, tilting my head to the side. "Right?" I bring my hands up shrugging and drop the mic as my music hits. I walk backwards up the ramp as the Uso's lean in to talk to each other pointing at me and Roman stares daggers in my direct. Waving my fingers at them, I blow a kiss before disappearing backstage.

"OHHHH!!" Pat yells. "Michael, I think for the first time in two years, Roman has finally met his match!"

"What a way to kickoff SmackDown!" Michael chimes.

Welcome to Friday Night SmackDown, bitch.

My chest heaves up as I catch my breath from the absolute adrenaline rush that I almost can't stand. I clutch my chest. Holy fuck.

"Crimson." I hear Triple H's voice and I'm instantly proud back down to earth. Oh, shit. Here we go... I turn around slowly to find him with a big smile on his face. "Damn, kid." He chuckles. "You go out there every night like that? You'll have what you want in no time. You have a gift that can't be taught." He says seriously, placing his hand on my shoulder.

Chills run down my spine and throughout my entire body. "You are where you're meant to be." Hunter nods. "Hope the wait was worth it."

They did make me wait. They kept me in NXT while Damian and Rhea left last year. But I made history. I became the only 3-time NXT Women's Champion.

And now I'm going to make history again.

"Thank you, Hunter." I nod, swallowing hard. He steps back. "So what's next?" I lift my arms up, grinning ear to ear.

He shakes his head at me in amusement. "Never can get enough can you?"

"Nope." I laugh, shrugging innocently.

"Liv and Shayna have their signing." He glances over his shoulder before heading back. "Don't cause too much trouble back here tonight."

"No promises." I sing quietly, smirking to myself as I spin on my heel to leave.

I'm just getting started.

Anyways haha, ROMAN & CRIMSON HAVE FINALLY CROSSED PATHS ONCE AGAIN... AND WE GOT SOME TENSIONNN JUST LIKE LAST TIMEEE ;) I've had this scene planneddd for sooo long & I'm SOO excited y'all finally get to read it!! What do y'all think... did Crimson eat him up or what?!🤭
