"Let him go!" I yell, lowering my arrow, "Shadow! Shoot the arrow!!" Chat yells, struggling. "Don't listen to him! You'll kill us all and even yourself!! I was originally yours and always will be Princess!" Januis yells over Chat.

"What?" I stood there confused.

"You know I was actually-"

"SHUT UP JANUIS! DON'T TRY TO SWAY HER! DON'T LISTEN TO HIM! SHOOT THE ARROW SHADOW!!!" Chat growls.

If I shoot the arrow, every vampire will be killed, and I might die along with them, but Chat, he'll be gone too! I can't, he never did anything to anybody but try to be a hero. But he's not the only one that was an innocent victim. I point the arrow to the sky, but hesitate, lowering it again. Most of these vampires are innocent victims, and they're suffering, not even having a proper rest. They're killing other people too!

What do I do?! If I shoot this arrow, lives will be changed, I can't just let this whole world be clouded over by darkness. But there is a slight chance that I can live! Even if it's just 1%, it's still a number! It's still a percentage!!

But worse, I only have one shot at this, if I aim for the wrong thing, the arrow will be gone for 100 years! And Chat......I want to just hold him in my arms so bad, I was so worried about him then when I couldn't find him.

"So, Shadow, I believe it's best to put that down now, come back over here and we can finish the ceremony." Januis slowly walks to me, I look over at Chat, swiftly grab my bottle of holy water and threw it at Dracula's face, making him let go of Chat. Chat runs over to me, protecting me from a blast by grabbing my waist and we flew up through the hole that Plagg blasted through the dome ceiling.

We made it to the top, and landed on the roof, Plagg peeps up, and lands on Chat's shoulder. 

We both panted for breath as Plagg hid behind Chat's hair. "Well then....I suppose we should hurry and end this I guess?" I breathe out, " Lets go" Chat says. The sun was beginning to rise, it was only a small amount of light but the sun is not up yet so it was safe for now. I look at Chat, smiling at the light at the horizon, a few bright stars were out too. I look down, and then got a good grip on the roof from my boots, and positioned my bow and arrow, my fingers ready to let go,

"Here.We.....G-AHH! CHAT!" what the?! Some rope wrapped itself tight around my ankle, made me fall on my butt and is dragging me toward the hole in the roof we came from! It caught me off guard, the moment it began dragging me, the bow and arrow slipped out of my hands! "SHADOW!" Chat goes after me, "CHAT NO! SHOOT THE ARROW!! HURRY!"

"SHADOW!!"

"AAAAAHHHHH!" I fell through the hole, falling to the floor of the huge library, that Januis was still standing in-weird, where is Dracula? Januis pulled the rope hard enough to make me fly right into his arms. Then Chase and Lana runs into the room, "SHADOW!" "Y/N!" Chat, Lana and Chase all yell at the same time.

Chat lands on the floor, Januis grabs me, my back to his chest, his arm around my waist, "Let her go you monster!" Chase yells, Lana and Chase had a bit of blood on their clothes but looked alright. "Shadow!" Chat yells, I look at him and see the bow and arrow tossed to me, I quickly manage to grab it, swiftly placing the arrow in place on the bow. Januis tries to reach for it but couldn't, if he tries to reach for the bow and arrow then he'll let go of me, he growls in frustration. 

"Princess" Januis calms down his temper, rubbing his temples. I point the arrow up at the exposed sky. "What." I spat. 

"You're not going to seriously do this?" he slowly walks to me, I gripped the bow harder, he notices and stops. "Oh, you don't remember? Or you just don't want to remember my lady?" he looks up at me, a small smile that rested on his face. 

The last time I saw a smile like that was when we were in school, "What are you talking about?" I raise a brow. 

"Can't we get on good ends, or possibly even better ends like we were before?" his voice changes. Why is my heart beating so fast? Is it fear? "Remember when we were all in school?" "Shut it Januis!" Lana yells. 

"No, the truth must be out. I'm glad that at least I have the very moment to finally say what I actually want to say. I am not a vampire-but you can say a hybrid" Januis explains.

 "What?! You wish!" I lower my arrow. "I was found as a child in a forest, that was when Dracula and my mother were looking for a child to have as their own. I wasn't a vampire then, and it would be a problem if I were a mortal, having a shorter lifespan than them. Both turned me half way so I would be able to grow at the same time instead of being a child forever." Januis explains, "So no, I'm not really their child, but instead turned against my own will, I never asked to be like this! I have to hunt and kill people just for my own survival. Chat Noir, I know we don't get along that well, but I can relate to you on some level." he says. 

"Januis I'm sorry you feel like that-" "Lana, there is no feeling in this I am 'this'" Januis mutters.

 "Princess, the last time I felt alive was when I was in school, seeing you. I can still remember the moment you were in my arms, at the dance. Hearing your heart beat, seeing the love in your pupils" he walks closer to me, "You remember that too?" he looks up at me again, noticing my faint blush, 

"You had the most heart-striking crush on me, Princess, you never saw me as a monster and you still don't. Deep down you still have a butterfly or two still fluttering in there, but you're still hiding them away from the light, and distracting yourself with Chat Noir, or Adrien instead. You know, my father and your ancestor Queen Li'anne were meant to be together, and maybe somewhere along the line, I were to be found and introduced as your mate-we're meant to be together from both ways." Januis holds my hand. 

"Leave her alone Januis! Shadow don't listen to him!" Chat yells, Januis makes a motion with his hand, sending the same black ooze from earlier at Chat's, Lana and Chase's feet, keeping them from moving. "What the?!" I turn around, then look back at Januis, "I only did their feet, so they won't have to keep me from telling you what I'm telling you. Chat was the very first one to attack was he not? I believe he's beginning to realize it too.tsk" his hand grips my hand gently again, "I can't believe she's actually listening to him!" Lana mutters, "Remember when I gave you your first dance? We were actually having fun, without no tension. I felt alive then" he softly chuckles.

 My cheeks grew hotter,  "I know you most definitely remember the kiss" his other hand holds my other hand. I remember......

"You know we're meant for each other right?"

"Not even on Mars that would be."

"Then why are you blushing then?"

"I am not!(ﾉ∀'♥)"

"You know it don't you?"

"Know what?" we was both in a conversation full of whispers, he went a bit close to my face. Too close in fact. "I came here for you" the song was playing the right lyrics at the right moment. 'And I know it's not right......And I guess I should try to do what I should do...' (from Selena Quintanilla-I Could Fall In Love With You). Maybe Januis is right, maybe we're meant to be. 

Wait.....the time when Januis found out I was the princess

11PM

Paris, France

He holds my hand,"Y/n, are you the princess of Hidelington?" he asks. "Yes, I am the princess of Hidelington, Januis."

Then at the dance.....

 "Januis. How did you know it was me?"

"Because I know who my girlfriend would look like with or with out mask" he whispers in my ear, I was going to say something back but it was stuck in my throat. "S-So what are you tonight?" he asks while brushing his lips on my neck. Did he just stutter? "I'm a deer dumbo, you?"

"I'm a vampire" "Wow, nice addition to the night." I felt his lips press against my neck, "I can give you anything, y/n if only you decide to be my mate?"

Is it possible that Januis already knew I was the princess from that point this whole time?! He just needed the last piece to the puzzle to actually confirm it true? I heard about emerald being the vampire's stone, they give an emerald to their mates as a sign of love. My dress resembled that color, was I Januis' emerald?  

What about Chat? His puns for sure annoyed me, but I actually kinda liked them haha, and Januis' passion for me, it was burning even though I couldn't see it. I still remembered those things and still to this day want to forget that I kissed my rival's lips. But.....why hasn't anyone ever tell me about this? The more I think about this the more time I'm wasting! 

I gasped, looking around, I was daydreaming the whole time? My bow my arrow, ick! Januis plants a tender kiss on my lips. I closed my eyes, feeling weaker by the second, hearing muffled yelling.

I gasp for air, panicking and looking around, I control my breathing, looking up at the slightly dark sky. The sun isn't up yet, I thought, then I focus my eyes on the reflection, it was me but I look a bit pale (it was me but I looked a bit different) and I have on some red lipstick-at least that's what I think it is. 

"What the?" I breathe out, attempting to sit up but bump my head, glass.

 I'm wearing a white dress, and there is some sort of glow around me- not to mention a couple of roses in my hands "Wait, AM I DEAD?!"  I look at my hands and place my head on my chest, over my heart- it's still beating,

 "Yayyy, I'm  not dead! Okay, it looks like I'm in some sort of......casket?.......OH HONEY NO! SNOW WHITE IS OUTTA HERE!!! How do I get out of here?!" I press my hands against the cold glass, giving me goosebumps. 

"Ugh. It's no use....." I give up. 

I raise my feet up a bit, no shoes?! Really?! I began kicking my feet at the glass, but nothing was working, I heard through the silence, besides the crickets, grass being crushed, footsteps. I quickly grabbed my roses and get back in place and close my eyes. I swallowed my spit as the shuffling of grass came closer to me, then stopped right beside me.

 A tide of cool air splashed in, swooping over my body, then a cold hand caressed my face, I want to go right now, I mean I gotta pee. 

"We no longer have to worry about anyone in our way anymore, my sweet. There is no other rival out there to steal you, everyone knows that you're mine. We don't have to have anymore obstacles blocking a destined marriage." that voice, is that Januis? It's not Chat's. Two cold lips gently pressed against my warm ones, I opened my eyes, seeing Januis' red eyes looking into mine. 

Blush creeped on my cheeks real fast, he pulled away, his black hair tucked behind his ear. "Where is my bow?" I groan out sleepily,  "I'm surprised you have already awaken" he slips his arm under my head, slightly lifting my head up to his face . I look at him,  "Januis...."

 "Your friends are taken care of and so are the Hidelings from the bottom floor, I have them all in the dungeons, you may go down and see them. As of now, I am the last living royal blood of the vampires." he says to me. Dracula is dead?! Lana and Chase must have managed to finally exterminate him. "Januis. Why hasn't anyone managed to tell me about you?" I ask, "I don't know why myself. I'm sorry I do not have an answer for that but maybe we can finally seal the gap that existed for far too long" his lips brush against my neck, "Wait." I says to him, making him stop.

 "I......you say that you're still somewhat human, but, how come you're so sensitive to sunlight? Is it because you were half bitten by-" "Yes, if it were one I would be able to stay out in the sunlight" he finishes for me. 

"Oh...." I trail off, ".....well then I-" I hesitate on asking, afraid that I would upset Januis, "What is it?" he asks me. 

"I'm not ready for this yet, I just want to see the day one last time" I look up at the sky noticeably becoming lighter, he looks up with me.

 "Fine. This will be your last day, then we will marry at midnight. I'll leave you alone since the sun is beginning to rise" Januis says, helping me to sit up, "Come in anytime, this is our place now." 

"Alright."  I say. Januis plants a kiss on my cheek before returning inside. I looked up at the sky, looking at the small rays of light beginning to peer over the horizon. 

I'm surprised he never even pulled me into a trance.

As y/n was spending her last day of seeing the sunlight, that same day her parents recovered, and heard the unfortunate news. The King and Queen sat on their thrones once again, only giving y/n her princess status. The King and Queen took a risky journey over to the Lac Haunte mansion and managed to have y/n brought out, they were shocked to find Januis right beside her, with interlocked hands, they found out that she found out the truth, her parents tried in every way possible to tell y/n that she was never told of the story in order to prevent ultimate chaos between the two sides.

 Two sides that were arch enemies for centuries, even millennia, yet the heirs from both sides managed to find love. The King and Queen were astonished by their daughters decision, they said to her, "That if you stay with the vampires, then we no longer see you as our daughter, your title will be ripped out of your hands, and we will find a new heir" y/n was still upset by the fact that a big secret like so was hidden from her, maybe if her parents told her, then the possible love would have been obliterated before her very feelings would grow for Januis, but she felt betrayed, finding love only to be told at last minute that she isn't allowed to be with her soul mate. 

The Princess refused, and said that this was for the better of everyone else, she can stay with her love, and there would be peace among her fellow people, even if her title was ripped, she will always be the original princess. 

Both sides left on neutral ground, and the Princess was left crown-less, but had Januis beside her all along. Both sides agreed not to attack each other, unless one attacked first. 

 Vampires began drinking donated blood, the captors in the dungeon were freed, Chat Noir began fighting along side Shadow, and the Princess was a half vampire-half human hybrid, giving birth to a child, who would become the first Vampire Princess.

 As for Hidelington Forest, the Hidelings had a new Queen and King-who were Lana and Chase, and a new hero rose, "Light Catcher".

(Yall this took alot of time to edit and stuff, in total I edited/revised over 9,500 words- thats all of the fates together! add part 2 of chapter 2.17 and thats over 11,830 WORDS!!! The MOST I known at the time that I have edited EVER! Not to mention when I made the gifs -the fate banners like-)
