🏹Fate B- You hesitate-  Januis grabs you and bites you, therefore turning you. Within your last moments you use the arrow, and make a plot-twisting decision.

"Let him go!" I yell, lowering my arrow, "Shadow! Shoot the arrow!!" Chat yells, struggling. "Don't listen to him! You'll kill us all and even yourself!! I was originally yours and always will be Princess!" Januis yells over Chat.

"What?" I stood there confused.

"You know I was actually-"

"SHUT UP JANUIS! DON'T TRY TO SWAY HER! DON'T LISTEN TO HIM! SHOOT THE ARROW SHADOW!!!" Chat growls.

If I shoot the arrow, every vampire will be killed, and I might die along with them, but Chat, he'll be gone too! I can't, he never did anything to anybody but try to be a hero. But he's not the only one that was an innocent victim. I point the arrow to the sky, but hesitate, lowering it again. Most of these vampires are innocent victims, and they're suffering, not even having a proper rest. They're killing other people too!

What do I do?! If I shoot this arrow, lives will be changed, I can't just let this whole world be clouded over by darkness. But there is a slight chance that I can live! Even if it's just 1%, it's still a number! It's still a percentage!!

But worse, I only have one shot at this, if I aim for the wrong thing, the arrow will be gone for 100 years! And Chat......I want to just hold him in my arms so bad, I was so worried about him then when I couldn't find him.

"So, Shadow, I believe it's best to put that down now, come back over here and we can finish the ceremony." Januis slowly walks to me, I look over at Chat, swiftly grab my bottle of holy water and threw it at Dracula's face, making him let go of Chat. Chat runs over to me, protecting me from a blast by grabbing my waist and we flew up through the hole that Plagg blasted through the dome ceiling.

We made it to the top, and landed on the roof, Plagg peeps up, and lands on Chat's shoulder.

We both panted for breath as Plagg hid behind Chat's hair. "Well then....I suppose we should hurry and end this I guess?" I breathe out, " Lets go" Chat says.  The sun was beginning to rise, it was only a small amount of light but the sun is not up yet so it was safe for now. I look at Chat, smiling at the light at the horizon, a few bright stars were out too. I look down, and then got a good grip on the roof from my boots, and positioned my bow and arrow, my fingers ready to let go,  

"Here.We.....G-AHH! CHAT!" what the?! Some rope wrapped itself tight around my ankle, made me fall on my butt and is dragging me toward the hole in the roof we came from! It caught me off guard, the moment it began dragging me, the bow and arrow slipped out of my hands! "SHADOW!" Chat goes after me, "CHAT NO! SHOOT THE ARROW!! HURRY!" 

"SHADOW!!"

 "AAAAAHHHHH!" I fell through the hole, falling to the floor of the huge library, that Januis was still standing in-weird, where is Dracula? Januis pulled the rope hard enough to make me fly right into his arms. Then Chase and Lana runs into the room, "SHADOW!" "Y/N!"  Chat, Lana and Chase all yell at the same time. 

Chat lands on the floor, Januis grabs me, my back to his chest, his arm around my waist, "Let her go you monster!" Chase yells, Lana and Chase had a bit of blood on their clothes but looked alright. "Shadow!" Chat yells, I look at him and see the bow and arrow tossed to me, I quickly manage to grab it, swiftly placing the arrow in place on the bow. Januis tries to reach for it but couldn't, if he tries to reach for the bow and arrow then he'll let go of me, he growls in frustration. 

Chat attempts to move forward, "Any of you make a move and I'll..." Januis grabs my hair, and forcibly lies my head on his shoulder, exposing my neck, "...finally make her my wife." he laughs. "So it's best you all leave now. Chat, you should leave this place and never return- you are a traitor to your own people." he hisses, "Never as long as you have her in your arms!" Chat hisses back. 

"Chat" I whimper, "Lana, Chase." tears ran down my face. I stomp Januis' foot and try to make a run for it, but quickly grabbed by Januis again, "Ack!"

 "That didn't even hurt-but this will!"

 "NO!" a stinging pain pinched hard at my neck, "Y/n!" Chat runs to me, "Chat-irk! No don't run.....here" I pant out, as my vision was becoming blurry. 

I pulled the bow and arrow up pointing at the sky, "As the Princess of Hidelington, I, Y/n, pronounce, Lana as the next heir to the throne!" I yell. 

"WHAT?!"Chat, Chase and Lana yells in unison. 

"Y/n don't you know what you just did?!" Chase yells at me, "Lana, take care of the next generation for me-please!" I point the arrow at the sky, "Chat, let's go" I say as I shot the arrow, it flew through the hole in the roof and headed for the sky. "Do you realize what you have done ?! You're killing all of us, EVEN YOURSELF!" Januis slaps me.

 Chat takes the opportunity and throws a punch up Januis' chin, as the force slammed him against a book case full of books. I get up, and Chat and I run to each other. Plagg flies down to Chat. Chase and Lana run to us, both in tears, especially Lana, "Why-why would you do that y/n? I can't do a job like you that....that important I-what about the blood line? You're the last of the royal blood line-" "Well then there will be a new one." I say but stop, feeling something sharp on my lip, I look at my hands, becoming more pale, my nails a bit longer.

"Princess....." Chase trails off, laying a hand on my shoulder, "Chase, I am no longer the princess....." I take my ring off, de-transforming me, I still had my crown on from earlier before. I reached up and took the crown off, and places it on Lana's head, "Y/n-please no I can't-"

 "You can now. Listen, lead our people to great things, and maybe make good use of the treasures- we can't hide in a forest forever if we no longer have a name for ourselves, we no longer have to be "vampire slayers" or "vampire hunters"" I hand quote. 

"Now listen, Chat and I do not have much time here, so let's make the last of this the best" I smile. Lana nods slowly. Plagg peeps out, "Well well well. Looks like this is the last time I'll see you two," Plagg turns to us, "and the first time I see you two" Plagg looks at Lana and Chase. "Who are you?" Chase asks, "I'm Plagg, Chat-or should I say Adrien's  kwami, I'm the one who gives him his powers, who once rested in his ring....or well maybe again?" Plagg lightens up the mood. 

My faint smile washed away when I grab for my side, feeling a horrible searing pain there "Ahh.... that hurt!" it feels like someone just stabbed me. "Y/n?" Chat worries,  "I'm fine Chat...." I look up at him, "It's happening. I don't have much time to explain, but Chat, or should I say...Adrien, you've been the bestest friend out there that I ever had, and I'm going to miss your puns and everything" I sniff, turning to Lana, "Lana I know you're going to be an amazing queen one day, I know you can do it, I'm gonna miss your quirkiness and cheerful personality a lot, I appreciate everything you done for me, even you Chase" I call Chase's name, catching his attention, he looks up at me in tears, hugging me, I hug back.

"Chase, lot's of ups and downs. I can still remember when you had some crush on me!" we all laugh, "I know you'll get over it soon, so I believe that one day, you find a beautiful woman and have a wonderful family" I sniff and pull back, wiping blood-tears, attempting to escape. 

"Sorry I don't wanna spill blood on you" I sigh, then burst of laughter exploded between the five of us. 

"Plagg, it's been wonderful meeting you, and the cutest kitten I've ever known! You're already rivaling with Adrien here" I pinch Plagg's little cheeks, "Awh, really?" he smiles,"It's an honor meeting you as well Shadow, Princess of Hidelington. I'm glad to see another Hidelington royal" Plagg says to me. 

I widen my eyes, what is he saying? "Same to you Plagg, I had a wonderful time knowing you" I smile, he flies over to me, hugging my cheek, before flying back to Chat,  "Adrien, out of all of the owners I had, you're so much different from the rest! It's a first in a very long time I said this, but kid, it's an honor in having you as my owner." Plagg sniffs, Chat wipes a tear of blood, "Thanks Plagg."

A flash from the sky caused the atmosphere to become almost bright as a blank white canvas. Everyone made a tight group hug one last time, before the last of Chat Noir-Adrien, and Shadow Hunter-y/n, slipped out of the once tight hug. 

The light dimmed down, it was morning as the sun's light seeped in from the hole in the roof, spilling all of its golden light into the room. A dance of metal hitting the floor distracted Lana and Chase. Two rings were shining on the floor, one of inky black, and the other a shining silver. The brightness happened in a quick flash.

 Every vampire disintegrated into ashes that blown in the wind, every soul that was unrighteously killed, now rests peacefully in the winds. The Lac Haunte Mansion fell to the last of Plagg's Cataclysm. All that remained were the bodies of Hidelingtons that were slain or killed.

"......And that there is the legend of the Legendary Vampire Hunter, known as the Shadow Hunter. No one else were to use her ring unless another evil arose onto this world." the woman finishes her story. 

"So the princess never even got to marry her prince?" the boy asks. 

"Unfortunately no. But they say that in the night in the fields when the wind blows, you can hear the laughs and giggles of the princess and her prince. Some say they even saw the spirit of the princess and prince, or even two kids playing together. So that's why you see a lot of black cats around in the field" the woman explains, "But mom, what about the miraculous? What happened to that ring?" the boy asks, "No one knows what ever happened to it, it just went missing just like that!"

 "And you're saying this is true? How do I know it's not another one of your bed time stories again?" the boy asks, crossing his arms. "Because,y/n the Shadow Hunter was my friend, and I helped her on her adventures and so did your father." she smiles, "WHAT?! HOW-" 

" Now, go on to school now. Don't be late!" Lana pushes him out of the door onto the porch, as the boy looks back and runs off. Lana sighs, looking at the sun's light hit the fields in front of her from the porch.

 "You finally told him didn't you?" Chase's hand lands on Lana's shoulder, Lana nods. "My Queen! My King!" someone says, both Lana and Chase turn around and look down to see a young man with a rolled up paper, "We need approval on some of the plans on the expansion over on the northern end of Paris." "Lead us." Chase says.

As Leo left the house, he went on his way on the stone path cleared through the fields, taking a breath of the warm spring air, as cool droplets of morning dew brushed against his skin from the tall grass. 

"Man I'm so glad it's Friday, I can't wait to go back home...." he tilts his head back, walking. "AAH!" Leo suddenly sinks to the ground, only tripping on something, a rock, "Ow.... I think I sprained my ankle that time, ugh. Not again!-" 

"Meow!" a small black kitten tips towards Leo. "?" he looks at it's green eyes in curiosity, then looks back at the black rock, he picks it up, so he wouldn't have to trip over it again. "This stupid rock has got me for the last time!" he prepares to throw it far, but stops, looking up at it, "This a weird lookin' rock" he brings his hand down as the black kitten sits down beside him, "Meow!" 

"What do you want?!"

 "Meow!" he sighs exhaustively, looking at the golden hinges of the rock, realizing it was a box. "What the?" he opens the box, as a ball of green light floated up out of the box, revealing a ring, then a small black cat flies up in Leo's face, "Hey kid, you got some cheese?"

 "AAAAAH!!! WHAT ARE YOU?!" Leo screams.

 "Chill, *sigh* looks like another teenager this time, uh, you're my new owner and-"

 "What the?! Is this Chat Noir's ring!?" Leo's eyes widened, "You must be Plagg!! I-Is something bad happening?!" 

"Meow!" the black cat meows at Leo, "I know he's been ignoring me all week! I was stuck in a box you know!" Plagg scolds the cat.

 "Anyway, you're right. I'm Plagg, or what ever name you want to call me you must've heard about that story, I assume" Leo nods, "I'm Leo" he smiles, slipping on the ring on his finger. "Leo? Isn't that Latin for Lion? Looks like fate has pieced it together huh?" Plagg chuckles.
