"Chat!" I walk to him but stop as he raises his hand, "D-Don't worry about me. I'm just a bit famished."

 "Chat we're not doing this again. The first time I met you you looked bad, and you're beginning to look like that again-I just didn't want to say anything! Listen-" I help him up, "I can find some blood for you- just somewhere! Or-Or you can just go back to where you're at and-and-"

 "I said I'm not taking anyone's blood!" he falls down to his knees, in a coughing fit, curling up. 

"No! It's blood for transfusions! The hospitals have that stuff stashed up, I'll find a way to get you some-this is blood that was given willingly, not taken.....but that would take too long!" I get on my knees beside him looking around in worry, not knowing what to do. I look down at my belt, taking out my sharp dagger, the silver reflecting the light from nearby lights onto my skin. 

"Shadow?" Chat groans out looking up at me, "Chat if you won't do this one way, then you'll do it the next!" I press the sharp edges against my skin, "Shadow!" I look away and quickly did a quick slide, "Mm!" I bit my lip, shoving the dagger back in my belt. "No! Why'd you do that?!" he gently grabs my arm, as it began to bleed.

 "I told you I didn't want you to hurt yourself for me!" his voice breaks, "Don't cry on me Chat, you need to have some strength for tomorrow!!" I felt his pain through my heart, my eyes began brimming with water, while his were running blood. "Please, don't let it go to waste. " my arm slightly trembles. Chat brings my cut and bleeding arm to his lips and began drinking. 

"There. Don't you feel a bit better now?^^-OW!" I tap his head, bringing my arm away from him.

 "I didn't say suck my soul out!!"

 "S-SORRY! Sorry! I-it's been a bit!" he blushes "Well then, that's the last you're getting from me" I gently wipe my arm clean, as Chat wiped his mouth on his sleeve trying to hide his blush. "You were never arm fed before?" 

"It's not something they usually do, it's just between lovers, or new vampires." he blushes more. Weird, he's a vampire yet he still had blood rushing to his cheeks. Could Chat Noir be alive this whole time? "......Well good thing I'm not a vampire huh?" I ask.

 "It would be nice if things were normal again.....but that's soon right?"

 "Yeah" 

"We could have a whole new life together soon"

 "Hol' up buddy. You goin' a bit too far.🤠"

 "I'm really serious this time Shadow, I never got the chance to really tell you when I was alive so I can tell it to you now." he holds both of my hands, looking me in the eyes. "Shadow, ever since the day we met, years ago I always thought of you as someone totally different from the others I've met."

3 years ago....

Spring

"Aahaha! I can't believe that just happened!" Shadow rolls down to the bottom of a grassy hill with Chat Noir. "Chat? Chaaaat?" she sits up, looking around, "Cha-" "WOAAAH!" a tumbling Chat rolls right into Shadow, making them both fall in the pond near them. Both got out in a coughing fit, as Chat shook the water off of him. "Sorry! I-"

 "It's fine Chat!" Shadow giggles. 

"Are you sure? I mean you're soaking wet!" 

"Really I'm fine kitty-kat" Shadow wrings out her dress and and boops Chat's nose. "I never seen an akumatized person before! That was the most fun I ever had in a long time! Hehehe!" she chuckles, placing both hands on her hips in a stance, "Well I need to tell you something Chat. I won't be able to do this anymore for a while or so." Shadow begins to explain, Chat's ears droop a little, "What? What do you mean?"

 "There is something really bad going on that I have to deal with-let's just say it's a personal issue. Only I can do this" she says to him. "....so after today I won't come back. I'm sorry to leave you like this Chat-huh?!" she was suddenly hugged tight by Chat, sobbing into her shoulder. "Ugh, Chat! Don't cry on me now!!" she tries to pry him off but she gave up and hugged him back, "Chat you're gonna have to be strong for me- if-if you don't-" Shadow's voice began to break, "I don't want you to leave-e-e" Chat breaks into a full watery sob.

 "Chat you're making me cry! Come on! Listen, as soon as this whole dispute is over, I'll come back looking for you! I promise!" she lets go, cupping his face, squishing his cheeks a little.

 "You really promise?" Chat sniffs. 

"Promise" Shadow smiles through her tears. "Okay then"

 "Now can you let me go?" "Just another minute, please? I wanna live out this hug" "Erm, okay?"

"Chat if this is your chance to confess to me I already know." I sigh, his facial expression dropped, "What?（*￣□￣*；. I-I mean that's-yea, that's what I was going to say but-" "Chat, this isn't the time for something like this. I get it, but in this way, we can never be together. I'm sorry, can we just talk it out after?"  I sigh exhausted.

"Why do you say that? Is it because of the way I am? I never asked to be like this, you out of everyone else knows that"

 "Chat...." I press the tips of my fingers against my forehead.

 "If I were not the monster that I am, would your response be different?" he asks.

"You're not a monster!"I blurt out.

 "I AM! I'm one just like the rest! You're just saying that because you know me, I'm your friend, your sidekick-" I face palmed my forehead. 

I walked off a few steps, my hands on my hips in frustration. "You have no idea, I would say that I felt the same way about you-before all of this happened!" I yell back, "I know I can hide feelings that easily, but I couldn't bring myself to tell you because I didn't know how!" I hitch a breath in, tears falling once again, "How can I call you a monster? Or a vampire? Your cheeks still blush, when I'm close to your chest, I hear something, a small faint heart beat, that anyone can barely hear-but I heard it." I walk slowly towards him, as his once upset emotion on his face rested a bit. He looks away, his hair bouncing at the same time. "You're just saying that." he mumbles, "No. I'm not just saying that, I'm saying that to be true!" I say as I was closer to him.

 "That was probably your heartbeat. Maybe, the blushing you call is just blood that I drunk. I'm not a human any longer, no matter how bad you want me to be. I feel the same way, but we'll see about that tomorr-mmrphf?! (I forgot how to spell out a muffled sound ^^;)" he never finished the last word. I went up to him and pulled him by his collar, and his face landed on mine. His hand reached for my cheek, caressing it. 

I actually don't have anything to say but huney i've been up at like 5 am writing non stop.
