✥The Black Cat Returns✥

Chat's pov

I walked around in the rose garden, looking for the bush of invisible roses. It hasn't rained in a bit so it would be more difficult to find them. "Plagg what do you mean by a secondary miraculous?" I ask.

"A secondary miraculous is another miraculous piece with the same powers as the original miraculous which it's kwami is from. If I give my powers to-let's say another piece of jewelry, like a necklace. If I give my powers to a necklace, the person who wears it will obtain those same powers as you Adrien." Plagg explains.

"You can make another miraculous?!" 

"Yes, only I have this ability though, it's like an emergency miraculous, however, both cannot be used at the same time. I can only obey the wearer with the original miraculous"  Plagg explains. "So this is why Dracula is looking for you?" "Yes, I am out of the miraculous now, so I do have the ability to do so. But, if the original miraculous is damaged  by a cataclysm, and a secondary miraculous exists, I will be transported there." 

"Okay so let's say that Dracula was wearing this second miraculous if this happened, what will happen?"  I ask, while picking through roses. "If Dracula is wearing the other miraculous, then he will be the new owner, and your powers will leave you" I look at him with a worried look. 

"Don't worry, this only happens in emergencies. I haven't used that power since the Victorian Era" he chuckles.

 "Phew, okay then" I breathe a breath out in relief, as I finally found the bush I was looking for. I let my hand explore the bush, finally feeling soft petals that didn't look like they were there. I grabbed it by the stem and placed it in my pocket. "There." I smile. "Do you think that this plan will work Adrien?" Plagg asks. "Maybe. But this feels like it might work"

Januis pov

"The Shadow Hunter is....m-"

 "Y/N! What the?! WHO ARE YOU?! LET HER GO!" before she could speak the name I was hit in the face with a glass bottle, feeling something wet on my face, then my face was stinging, "ARRGH! YOU'RE GOING TO GET IT FOR THAT!" the stinging quickly faded away.

 I grabbed y/n's wrist and pulled her behind me. I grabbed the dagger that was hidden in my pocket and pointed it at the two, a guy with blue hair and some girl. They both had on leather jackets, are they Hidelings?! "Januis let that poor girl go! We won't let any more innocent people be taken by your claws!" the boy yells out.

"You could've came up with a better speech T_T;" I say sarcastically.

"A-ANYWAY! LET HER GO SHE'S OUR FRIEND!!" the girl yells. "Oh, you mean your princess? That's a rude way to refer to her" I laugh. "Januis you're not going to kidnap her this time! Y/n! Can't you even hear us?!" the boy yells, "It's no use! I placed her under my trance and she will do as I say, besides she's my mate anyway, she belongs with me!" 

"Mate?! Y/N CAN YOU LIKE RUN AWAY OR SOMETHING?! I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME!" the boy yells. I took a closer look at them and realized something,  "Now that I think about it. You two are those annoying Hidelings from school! You two must be Lana and Chase. No wonder you two were always with this girl- you two must be her protectors, therefore you must know who the Shadow Hunter is" I chuckle, throwing my dagger at the two, "You missed!" Chase yells, making a charge at me. 

I easily dodge it, I hold out my hand and make a fist, "CHASE!" Lana yells out but of course it was too late! My dagger flew back, puncturing itself in that boy's shoulder, his screech of pain made me laugh. "Now Lana, I suggest you use this as a warning to your people to leave my kind alone and let us do our bidding. But I can do that myself with my love." I pick up y/n bridal style. "Januis!" Lana yells with anger.

 "Lana don't let him get away with her!" Chase says to her, grunting in pain.

 "But-" 

"We're her protectors! Don't think about me!" 

"You should listen to him Lana. In fact, I can do what I wish right here" I rethink my plan and place y/n back down, I grab her from behind, "It is a rule that vampires are not allowed in a residence uninvited am I right?" 

"I suppose" the girl stands up and looks at me cautiously. " Princess y/n here is so far your leader am I right? I heard that one of my fellow vampires managed to injure your once king and queen. So, maybe if I ask her just one question it won't hurt?" I look at y/n, "My love, would it hurt if you invite me and my people to your residence? We just want to make peace with your people,that's all?" I look down at her face, caressing her cheek.

 "Y/n! Don't do it!! If you do, you'll have everyone killed!" 

"Shut up!" I yell swiping my hand at the air, making the annoying girl slam at the wall of the brick building nearby. "Y/n....." 

Your pov

I saw Lana struggling to get up. "Y/n don't invite him! For the sake of humanity and this world, don't let him in!!!" Chase grabs my ankle, before his grip suddenly loosens. Y/N! WAKE UP! 

"Meow!" a black cat walked up to me, walking between my legs, I looked down at it, Chat? Are you a cat? Wait....Chat? 

Why are Lana and Chase here?! 

I feel so cold! 

AM I BEING KIDNAPPED?

 But I snapped out of the trance I was under when the cat was kicked, "Get away you piece of filth!" Januis growls. "LEAVE 'EM ALONE!" I break free of strong arms that were once around me, and ran over to the cat- it was smaller than it was, it's....a kitten! 

"Meow..." it limps towards me, I picked it up and it nuzzles itself in my arms, "Meow!" 

"Lana!" I look over at her, noticing she was unconscious, and a few bricks and pieces of rubble laying over her, Chase was unconscious with a knife of some kind in his shoulder from behind. "Y/n, you're really making this hard on yourself" Januis walks toward me, the irritability rising in his voice. "Leave us alone! What do you want from me?!" I yell, holding the kitten closer to me.

"Don't act so oblivious now, Princess y/n" 

"Princess? I'm not the girl you're-" "Ah, you admitted it yourself, you may just not remember?" he walks more closer to me, I can't transform here! Januis will know who Shadow Hunter is! But Lana....Chase....Chat-I mean, this poor kitten, "Mew.(つ﹏<。)"

 I have no choice, Januis knows that I'm the princess, I must have said so when I was under his trance! Could it be that he made me reveal who Shadow is as well? I'll have to risk it either way, I look down on my ring, and began the phrase 

"......Alright, let's-" 

"Januis!" someone lands right in front of me, the familiar long black trench coat, and  boots obscured my view. 

 "Ch-" I fell silent. (CH-CH-CH-CHIA!)  

"Chat Noir" Januis says with disgust, "Leave these poor people alone!" Chat says defensively.

 "Chat you already know that it's against order to go against the heir"

 "Yeah okay, you're not my so called master SO GET LOST!" "Ahahaha! You must not know yet, that girl is the girl we have been looking for! Y/n, here, is the Princess of Hidelington. SO MOVE IT AND FOLLOW YOUR ACTUAL ORDERS!" Januis hand gestures to me. 

Chat looks at me, as his ears moved a bit. I look away. "Listen, I didn't come here to pick a stupid fight with you, kid, your dad sent me here actually, he wants to see you, his exact words, "Tell my son to stop whatever fiddling he is doing and come see me in the headquarters"   so I am following my actual orders, kid." Chat growls, his voice much darker than usual. 

"Urgh!! You're going to pay for this!" 

"See ya, then" Chat says sarcastically, and waves as Januis jumps and flies off. 

Chat turns around to me, and helps me up, "Stop playing around, come on" he says, I was confused, but the kitten that was once in my arms, poofed into a few black clouds into a smaller kitten that floated into the air, Plagg?! "EEP! WHAT IS THAT!?"

 "Never mind" he dusts me off "Plagg." he calls the small cat over, and Plagg hides in Chat's jacket. "Chat, how did you find me in this time of night?!"

 "Y-You know who I am?" his ears perk up.

"Yeah, by the ears and mask! Oh no, did they get you too?! No wonder I haven't heard of you in so long! You're missing in Paris!"

 "....yeah. Come on, I'll need you your help." he says, I nod. We walk over to Lana as he picked her up, and threw her over on his shoulder, then walked to an unconscious Chase, and carries him on his other shoulder. 

"I understand that your home is protected to the extreme, I'll only drop them off at the field."

 "I'll  bring them on to the other side once we're there. Make sure you're quiet, I don't want anyone frightened" I say. 

"Alright then" he nods. Chat's voice sounds a bit different, like a hint of some type of pain.
