"So you're y/n. I'd never thought you out of all people would be a princess of some vampire hunting tribe." I say

"Yeah...." I trail off, looking at the ground as we both walked, on our way to Hidelington. "It's weird, I once went to school with you" I look up at him, Chat Noir once went to school with me?!  "Really?" I ask, he nods. "You know, I'm surprised that you trust me so easily, it's like you know me or something" 

"I-well Shadow told me about you. So that's how I kinda know you a bit" I say.

 "Well, sometimes, a person may say that, but no matter how long Shadow has known me for,  she may never know how I really feel for her, no matter what I tell her." Chat says, looking up at the night sky.

"WHAT?!" I blurt out, almost choking on my spit.

 "I know, I'm a vampire, she's.......a human. I told her before but I think she's taking me as a joke. I......often forget my place. She's full of life and-I'm pretty sure you don't care. But you must know about the plan for invading the mansion, yes?" he looks down on my blushing face. 

"Are you running a fever?" 

"N-No! I'm just, flattered by how you describe her, she sounds really special to you^^;"

 "She is. Always will be. Even in death" he breathes out.  I look away and wipe a tear as we enter the huge field. I clear my throat out silently. "You remind me so much of her" he glances at me.

 "I do?" "Yep.  I mean both personalities are quiet different, you look gentle and shy, while Shadow is quite the bad girl" we chuckle, "Well she's protective I tell you that" I say, looking up at the sky. By the time we make it, I walk past a tree, the crushing of grass stops, I turn around. Chat gently lies Lana and Chase down on the ground in front of me. 

"I can't go in any further, since I'm un-invited. But princess, you really need to be careful out there" he says, I blushed when he called me princess. 

"You almost caused chaos. But I need to ask you: when are we going to begin this process, princess? It is Monday already, my kind are.....planning on expanding our territory." his ears droop a bit, "What... do you mean Chat?" "Shortly, the vampires will be travelling out farther than just Paris, princess. Januis plans on kidnapping you in any possible way and marrying you, once he marries you, both our and your kind will be united as one, and your barrier will be shattered. You must prepare quicker before it's too late! I'm sure Shadow told you the other plan her and I discussed" he explains.

 ".....I understand. I'll hurry as fast as possible, can we be spared 2 days?" "I'll try-" he stops mid sentence, his cat ears moving, "I have to go, I can't be here! It's a pleasure meeting you princess" he bows then jumps off. I wait until he leaves then look at my ring, "Alright, let's fight" and transform into Shadow. I walk outside of the barrier and pick up my friends, then walking back into the forest.

Your pov

I walked into the guest room Lana was in. She was in the bed, covers over her, and she saw me. The maids were taking care of her, changing her bandages on her head and arms. She didn't take any serious damage, no trauma, she was just unconscious and had a few bruises and scratches on her arms and a headache. 

"Lana, how you're feeling?" I say quietly, as I bend down next to the bed. "Are you okay? You were-you were under Januis' spell and then-"Lana asks at first, then stuttering.  

"Lana, I'm here now- we're all here and okay. Chat helped me." I smile, assuring her that everything was going to be okay. "Chat the vampire!? Why him!? He could've bit you!-"Lana stops, placing her hand on her head. "Lana, as many times as we seen each other, he never bit me or was a threat to me. He's not even on their side, and don't yell, you're hurting your self." I refer to the vampires. 

"I don't care y/n, Chat is still a vampire! I mean if he's alive all this time, how do you think he's nourishing himself?!-Ahhh, that hurt....ugh." Lana briefly squints her eyes closed from the pain in her head. "Lana, I think you need to rest. Listen, we'll talk later okay? I gotta check on Chase, alright?" I say to her quietly. 

"Okay then, well I'm taking a nap.....where am I?"

 "You're in the so called palace of Hidelington. Your mother is coming up too in a bit, so I'm gonna go." 

"Alright" she sighs tiredly as I left. I went next door to the other guest room to check on Chase. Man it feels so tense in here. As I walked in, the maids were frantic, but kept composure. 

"My Queen, Chase is in bad condition, we may have to take him to the towns infirmary" a maid curtsies briefly. "The hospital?!" I say in shock. "The hospital, my apologies. Chase's injuries are out of our control. He has a really bad stab wound that's near his heart and he will not wake up! My Queen, we need your okay in this to send him there." she explains, almost stuttering in panic.

 "It's the first in two decades we sent someone out like this..... not even the healer can do anything about this!" she adds in. "How will he be sent in? The doctors there are going to want a reason for this!" another maid says. I think, "I'll be Shadow Hunter-"

"NO!" the maid yells, then lowers her voice, "My Queen, I apologize, but this is far too dangerous! You just returned not too long ago from being attacked by Dracula's son, almost kidnapped, and now he and all of those blood sucking monsters know who you are! They know that you are the princess! You know that is the reason we had to drop you out of school!" 

"I-I know that already........." I sigh.   "Not only they know who you are, they know who your assistants are as well. Your cover is blown!......They only know you as the princess right?" "Yes, they don't know who Shadow Hunter is." I say. 

"Alright then," the maid turns to the other maids, "Chase is ready to be sent to the hospital," then the maid turns back to me, "My Queen, you should be preparing for the plan of the raid. The chief of our army is waiting for you on the top floor" she says. I nod, as the worries of Chase filled my mind.

New year, new banner eh? This took SO long like a few hours, Wattpad was being petty about the 3MB limit, so it took MANY tries and edits to make this work, I always wanted a personalized gif, from the times I seen them on stored from other authors! The whole time I yearned for one I didn't realize I had the program to MAKE one. 

Imma try it out and see if i like it or nah.
