✥Chapter 15: Congrats, You're a Princess ✥

"Alright if you get a uniform. If not, you may leave. Simple." The coach says. He went down the line and gave some people a uniform and skipped over some. He was nearer to me, and the closer he was, the less uniforms there were.

A uniform was slapped in my hands as he gave the last one to someone down the line, all boys and girls. Chase didn't try out for track, or Lana, so no one I knew was in the team. People started to leave and everyone else looking at each other, seeing who was on the track team. "Alright, everyone, congrats you're on the team! We will have our first practice today, we'll be doing flexibility. Everyone change into their outfits and come meet back out here."

Timeskip

"Everyone choose a partner now, you got 10 seconds." "Ten?!" "I said now!" he blows his whistle. Everyone scurried around and some even looked at me but I rejected. "I'm not working with anyone!"

"Y/n you signed up so you can't go back now!"

"Ugggh-" "Looks like its you and me pal." I look up beside me, "You just had to ruin my day, did you?"

"I think I brightened it more"

"Everyone, we're only doing something simple today. Just the pacer test" everyone groaned, "What's....a pacer test?" I ask Januis. "You run when the thingy-ma-bobber goes off. It tells you." "..Oh..." well that did not help at all.

"The Fittness Gram Pacer Test (inserts the rest of the words here)" the girls went first and the bell rung.

30 laps later

Only 3 out of the 8 girls dropped out, then 2 laps later 2 more dropped out. I heard some cheers for others, but most of them were mine.

-lap 85-

Januis pov

"Man how long is she gonna keep going? Is she going to make it in Guinness this time?" someone jokes.

They did have a point, y/n didn't have a sweat on her. I heard about her beating the school record on the running track. "Januis, can I ask you something?" a girl asks me. Her face was red at the same time.

I'm getting hungry now- "What?"

"Everyone kinda wants to know why do you wear sunglasses all the time?"

"I'm colorblind" a few gasps from others drug them into the conversation, "YOU'RE COLOR BLIND?!" "I'd never expect a guy like you to be color blind" the sudden claps exploded, "That's the best I've seen. This girl could bring the whole school in the nationals...." I hear the coach mutter under his breath. Y/n jogged to the bleachers sitting next to me. I could hear her heart beat slightly faster, her breathing. Everything was in a rhythm. I never seen a human being run like that. Not the number of laps, but- the speed she was running-the speed of a vampire, slightly. Could she be a vampire hunter?

Time skip

"So how was it?" "It was whatever. " "Have you found her yet?" "Really not sure who she looks like" "Its been awhile" "From the attack 2 years ago, we only had a glimpse of her. But maybe if we have her biggest protector, then she could tell us where she is" "I'm not thinking that, I'm just thinking about the way y/n was running. She was in the nurses office yesterday though" "Well, we can see if we have her when they all turn tonight"

Your pov

"Do you y/n take this day as the official day of the heir to the throne, and help protect the people of Hidelington?" "I do." The ring was slipped onto my finger, it was a silver rose, ring with a black colored gem in the middle. "This ring here has stronger powers, so I suggest you train." the Wiser says. The Wiser is the oldest person in the village, who helps guide the leaders of the village when they need help. When the Wiser passes away, that's when the next oldest person in the village is to be the next Wiser. This is the first female Wiser we've had in a long time. Its my initiation today, when I officially become princess! Initiation day is when the heir to the throne is entered as prince or princess and everyone has a festival for them. Everyone applauded and was finally happy that they had a princess.

"You called me?" I ask. "I....nice outfit, power up?" "Something like that..."  "So what was that from the other night?"

"Ugh, its nothing Chat!"

"That thing was probably the one who started all of this! Did you see the fangs on that thing?! He knew you Shadow already! ....Are you part of this?"

"Are you seriously asking me that?"

"Are you?!" he slightly raises his voice, "I'm not!!!" I raise my voice, "Then how did he know you!?"he raises his voice more "CHAT I'M NOT WITH THEM! I hunt vampires dummy!" I blurted it out. "...What?" "I...." I paused. "....Chat I'm a vampire hunter. I hunt and kill vampires. The guy you saw was probably Dracula himself, I'm not sure." "What?"
