Shortly after the blast, Hobbs and the rest of his team wake up and they make sure everyone is in one piece. But before they could regroup and get back to base, a gunshot is heard and one of their team members is shot through the head.

"Contact rear!" Yells Hobbs, as his team gets into cover. A huge firefight ensues with both sides firing shots at each other.

After 5 minutes, Hobbs and his team then fall back into their convoy truck, before they take off, Hobbs tells Mary to take the motorcycle in the back and drive back to base and that they will meet her back there. Mary agrees and drives off.

Moments later Hobbs orders the team to retreat. While the teams convoy was driving on, a mysterious man, clad in black kevlar plated armor, shoots a grenade launcher from atop a small skyscraper. The grenade goes underneath the convoy truck, unseen, and undetected.

After 20 seconds it detonates. The convoy violently flips over and is then ran over by a gas truck, which also explodes and blocks off the other cars that are driving in the street.

Hobbs gets out of the destroyed truck and tries to catch his breath. As Hobbs is trying to catch his bearings, the mysterious armored man walks up to him and points a rifle at Hobbs' chest.

"This country will fall to us!" the mystery man says, before shooting Hobbs in the chest.

6 days before the state of the union address. It's 10:30am, Hobbs wakes up in the hospital and President Johnson along with Mary in tow, tells Hobbs about his condition.

"Luckily you were not burned by the explosion, and that bullet that you were hit with just missed your heart," The President tells Hobbs that the FBI and CIA covered up the story by giving Hobbs a good alibi, for the accident that occurred yesterday evening.

"Hobbs, I am also here to ask you about the people who attacked your unit. Did you manage to get a glimpse of any of them?" The President asks Hobbs.

"I saw only one of them, I don't know if that helps any, but the guy that shot me was the only one I saw. The rest we could barely see, because it was so dark out," Hobbs recalls.

Mary suggests that they take the audio and video from any media station or website, and they trace it back to a point in time before the attack on pier 16. Hobbs elects to leave the hospital and the doctors allow it, since he was medically cleared to leave anytime he wants.

Mary and Hobbs then leave the Hospital and they go to the Pentagon, where they meet up with the Secretary of Defense, Lionel Robb. Robb and Hobbs then talk about the team that attacked Hobbs and his unit.

"Agent Hobbs, we found out some more info about the people who attacked you, we don't know who they are or what they want, but we do know that they are the ones behind the South African ambassadors murder," Hobbs tells Lionel that he and Mary are going to use the Pentagon database mainframe, to trace the voice of the person who shot Hobbs back to before they were attacked, so that they can find out more about this mysterious group.

Mary uses the database mainframe to trace the voice of the mysterious man in black, back to a point before the attack. Two minutes later she reveals a video that shows the perpetrators hacking the U.S. database mainframe.

Mary freezes the video and enhances the screen and it then shows the faces of the perps. To Mary's surprise and shock, she sees that the perps were actually former military operatives, turned Black Ops Mercenaries. Their names were: David Christensen, Jenna Brown and Gary Kestenowich.

"What the Fuck?!" shocked by the revelation, Hobbs walks out of the command center and tries to assess everything that has been revealed to him. Lionel then talks to Hobbs about this revelation.

"You okay? You seem a little troubled," says Lionel.

"I've served with that man in the NAVY for five years... And he now turns against the country that he swore to protect and serve,"  Hobbs says, filled with shock.

"Hobbs... I understand that you and him were brothers in war, but that is in the past," Lionel reassures him.

"You're right, that is in the past. Which is why we need to find out what he is planning, along with his band of lost boys," Mary then tells Hobbs and Lionel, that she found out what the Mercenary group has stolen from the U.S. database mainframe.

"They stole the location of a Nuclear Bomb and they have occupied it," Hobbs then looks at Lionel with an angry look on his face.

"Did I hear right, or did she say a nuclear bomb has been occupied by those guys?!" Hobbs asks Lionel sternly.

"Yes, it is a nuclear bomb, but we gave it to our scientists in hopes of turning it into a source of energy. In order to do that, we had to reconfigure the core. But every time we tried, we failed. So we decided to decommission and flood it," Hobbs changes his look from angry to calm.

"They are going to use that thing to light up the whole capital," Hobbs devises a plan to counter this new threat.

"OK, we need to move, Mary tell the President everything that we just found out, and make sure you keep this quiet. Lionel you come with me, if we are going to fight these guys, then we are gonna need a new team of agents!"
