All we have are our words, particularly when we're dealing with people online like we do every day.
As such we've created a guide for online etiquette with details of what is and what is not okay within the Community.

Once your application is accepted and you're invited to the Discord channel, you'll be assigned a mentor who'll walk you through getting settled within the Community as our server is very structured and multi-layered.

• Respect each other. This may be an online venue, but we're all equals no matter where we share our thoughts and opinions.

• Extend basic courtesy to all users.  Always be respectful of other users, the system, and the Moderator.

• Keep your comments focused and on topic, according to each post. This helps facilitate the best, most productive conversations. If you have bigger ideas about a topic, start a thread or create a channel.

• Protect your privacy. Comments in channels are visible to everyone on that channel. You shouldn't post anything that you wouldn't say in public. Protect your privacy and don't give out personal information such as email addresses, telephone numbers or street addresses.

• Don't be hateful. Disagreements can lead to great progress. However, insulting individuals will not be tolerated.

• Do not post comments that use racism, sexism or are discriminatory or defamatory. These are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

• Unacceptable community usage, such as commercial posts or unsolicited advertisements is not allowed.

• Improper posting practices such as thread hijacking and spamming is not allowed.  Please stay within the topic area of the section you are posting a message in, and within any topic that another poster may have started. A certain amount of straying from the topic can be expected, but we will warn and delete the post that tries to hijack a discussion about one topic into another.

• Graphics and images: We do not allow nudity on any part of the forum. We will delete images that are disturbing to our members.

• Abuse and Inappropriate behaviors, such as hazing, bullying, defamation, and intolerance are not allowed. Please report abuse to moderators immediately.
