It had been about two months of Saturday dates and Caroline was very happy. Brian was really nice and Maggie was always asking how things were going between them. It was a really good time for Caroline but  not really for Maggie. Her boyfriend Todd was being weird and would ignore Maggie whenever she would try to talk to him.

Brian called Maggie early Saturday morning and told her to dress really warm. He wouldn't give her any other explanation and didn't talk very long. Caroline was going to dress warm anyways because she was prone to being cold and it was late December. She was less nervous about Brian now so she really didn't overthink it.

Brian came about 5:00 which was a little later than the normal time he came. Caroline put on her jacket, her long coat, a beanie, a long scarf and her gloves. Brian said a quick hello to Caroline's mom and then they left in his car. 

"So where are we going, Brian?"

"It's a surprise. If I told you I'd have to kill you." He laughed a little.

"Can I get a hint?" 

"Nope. None."

"Okay... Not even a little one??"

"No. Way."

The rest of the drive was uneventful and Brian made Caroline wear a blindfold. He stopped the car and let Caroline out on her side then pulled off the blindfold. Caroline saw a little garden with lights and snow. It was beautiful and Caroline loved it.

"Brian this place is beautiful. I love it." She gave him a hug.

"I thought you'd like it. Come on." He grabbed her hand and lead her through the gates to the main area of the garden. They went to the gift shop and Brian bought some hot chocolate and kettle corn with chocolate drizzled on it. He brought Caroline to a gazebo that didn't have anyone near it and set down their food.

"Why did we stop?" 

"I wanted to give you something. I made it myself with the help of one of my dad's friends." He was holding out a necklace with a charm shaped like a blue dress.

"I love it, Brian." Caroline hugged Brian and he put it on for her.

"It's to symbolize how we met."

"That's sweet." 

"Do you want to be my official girlfriend?"

"Yeah I would. Defiantly!" Caroline smiled and they shared a kiss.

They were both so happy and they spent more time at the garden. This was a day they would never forget.
